“Went there for lunch so was not too busy. Food (kalbi) was excellent. Meat was extremely tender and their side dishes were tasty and plentiful. Their selection of food was good and was impressed by the selection of aged meats they had. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Parking is easy in their lot and price is comparable to other KBBQ restaurants. Only negative is their bathroom which appear very outdated.“

“Come here for an authentic Korean bbq experience.

This place has been a staple in Palisades for apparently 31 years, I’ve been here many times for the last 10 years, finally al getting around to writing a review.

If you’re new to kbbq, simply get their bbq combo, and that’ll be a good intro to the experience. If you’re more experienced and know what meat you like and accompanying dishes then go à la carte. They cook the meat for you and it the meat cooks relatively fast so be prepared to eat so the meat is not overcooked sitting on the grill.

Service and experience is similar to what you would get if you visited Korea. All right good spot, balanced, no fuss, and good selection of dishes to make the bbq complete.“

“The wait isn’t bad, the food is banging and cheap, don’t stand around in the line unless you know what you’re waiting for is the one tip I’ll give, people just stand around without seeing which line they’re in. You can walk right up to the counter if you’ve got cash. Get a few buns to go for later. The shu mai was ok seemed like it had been sitting a while.“

BBQ Spare Ribs were amazing in taste & fully cooked, not too soft, just right! Scallion pancakes arrived very crispy & not soggy like others I’ve had! Pork fried rice was seasoned perfectly! They also accommodated my no egg request in the rice for an added bonus! Dumplings were delicious with an adequate amount of juicy pork filling! Boneless BBQ ribs were soft, full of sauce & tasty as well! Prices are a bit higher, but you get your money’s worth overall! Try it you’ll be happy you did!“

“It’s 10pm and the customer traffic is still at peak. During my meal they had to tell two sets of new customers that there are no more tables. My chicken thali is delicious. It comes with a variety of items and flavors. They kept checking if I actually need anything more and offered to add rice. Very caring and attentive. One customer there was chilling for a long time after done and they just let him relax in peace while the restaurant traffic is busy. Such patience and respect for customers. The Nepali hospitality really impressed me. Of course the food is amazing. Will come again to try other menu items.“

When visiting I’m always a fan of the Korean Fried Chicken, Fried Rice, and Cauliflower. However, tonight i added some new favorites. The Crispy Pork Guy, Pork Bao Buns, and Japanese Sweet Potato were the new kids on the block this go around. Let me tell you, you cannot go wrong with the sweet potato. “Came on a Monday night after work, wasn't too busy. Very cozy and comfortable. Ordered the short rib pho! The short rib came out on a separate plate and it was huge! It was so fatty, lean and well seasoned. The broth was rich, flavorful and piping hot! Highly recommend the short rib pho! It has bar seating with a full bar as well as booth seating, sushi area and a back area. I'll be back again.“

“We were in town from Wisconsin to see Metallica. The day after the concert , we were looking for something good to eat and found Dumpling Dojo. Looking thru the menu , we knew we had to try. AMAZING!! We had one of the best meals we have had in a long time and my husband and I like to eat. We go to a lot of high ends places, but as I said , this place was extraordinary. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had the fried pork belly , tangerine beef , shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp and ramen noodle. And for desert , out of the world raspberry cheese cake wontons with whipped cream and fruit garnish. Nothing was too spicy but so flavorful. Again , you really need to try this place. Thank You !!“

Its an outside food cart with limited street seating, but these guys were open at 10pm when it was 27° the other night and they still had a line of people. Absolutely worth every cent.

The lamb was odee slamming, the beef was great. They're all good really, but my fave was the fish balls with the spicy seasoning. Give it a try!“

“I realized I’ve never left a review despite ordering from here for YEARS. E-chiban has some of the best sushi in town for quality and price. It’s one of the few places I get delivery from and the quality and portion size is always great. Their prices have gone up, but I do feel with how much they give you it’s worth it (especially the salmon sashimi dinner)! Their delivery driver (Mok?) is always so kind, remembers my name and order, and is great at his job. It’s nice being a regular here. I’ve tried other places nearby and they don’t come close imo.“

“Dining at Tang by Mr. Sun was an absolute experience from start to finish. The food was incredible, but what truly elevated our night was the service. Our waiter, Jovan, was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and full of personality. His recommendations were spot on and really helped us explore the menu in the best way possible. We started with the crispy rock shrimp tempura, which was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. For entrées, we had the shrimp fried rice, fried lobster, and my personal favorite—the king crab creamy udon noodles. Every dish was rich, fresh, and beautifully prepared. I also want to highlight Oscar, the manager, whose hospitality did not go unnoticed. He made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of, which added an extra touch of class to the entire experience.
