“Went there for lunch so was not too busy. Food (kalbi) was excellent. Meat was extremely tender and their side dishes were tasty and plentiful. Their selection of food was good and was impressed by the selection of aged meats they had. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Parking is easy in their lot and price is comparable to other KBBQ restaurants. Only negative is their bathroom which appear very outdated.“

This place has been a staple in Palisades for apparently 31 years, I’ve been here many times for the last 10 years, finally al getting around to writing a review.

If you’re new to kbbq, simply get their bbq combo, and that’ll be a good intro to the experience. If you’re more experienced and know what meat you like and accompanying dishes then go à la carte. They cook the meat for you and it the meat cooks relatively fast so be prepared to eat so the meat is not overcooked sitting on the grill.

Service and experience is similar to what you would get if you visited Korea. All right good spot, balanced, no fuss, and good selection of dishes to make the bbq complete.“

“You can buy a pineapple pork bun (so fast with cash your friends are shocked) put it in your backpack and travel across three states, pull it out slightly squished at 3am, and it'll still taste so fabulous you won't want to brush your teeth so you can savor the taste for longer. “It’s 10pm and the customer traffic is still at peak. During my meal they had to tell two sets of new customers that there are no more tables. My chicken thali is delicious. It comes with a variety of items and flavors. They kept checking if I actually need anything more and offered to add rice. Very caring and attentive. One customer there was chilling for a long time after done and they just let him relax in peace while the restaurant traffic is busy. Such patience and respect for customers. The Nepali hospitality really impressed me. Of course the food is amazing. Will come again to try other menu items.“

“A truly amazing place, with incredibly friendly staff who work very hard. You can tell the sushi was just made for you, all the ingredients are fresh. “I’m so happy we have a halal pho spot in Astoria, and it’s GOOD, the pho is delicious, warm, and comforting, vibes are nice and they have a decent space to accommodate people. We got the lemongrass beef and short rib beef, both were really flavorful, portion size is very healthy, and pricing is very fair on the food. Star of the show was honestly the Vietnamese spring rolls, get those for sure if you stop by!“

“Small gem in Sugar Hill. Noodles were tasty and got the perfect mouth feel. Buddha dumplings were great. The shop is small but it does have an outside area as well. Recommend to do the online order so you can pop in and out and not wait because everything is freshly done.“

“We were in town from Wisconsin to see Metallica. The day after the concert , we were looking for something good to eat and found Dumpling Dojo. Looking thru the menu , we knew we had to try. AMAZING!! We had one of the best meals we have had in a long time and my husband and I like to eat. We go to a lot of high ends places, but as I said , this place was extraordinary. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had the fried pork belly , tangerine beef , shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp and ramen noodle. And for desert , out of the world raspberry cheese cake wontons with whipped cream and fruit garnish. Nothing was too spicy but so flavorful. Again , you really need to try this place. Thank You !!“

“A great restaurant to entertain a group of people, the atmosphere and service is very good with attentive staff and you can actually carry a conversation without yelling at each other.

The food comes out in a more family style manner where it is recommended to get multiple items to try a bit of everything. The food overall is pretty nice and I would give it a personal 7/10, but I wouldn't say it is a great price ratio. It's a more fusion style restaurant, but the flavors are on point and I would not be disappointed if I we're asked to come back .

My favorites of the night were the roasted cauliflower, Japanese sweet potatoe, Sea Bass, and all the desserts!“

“It’s a very Americanised Chinese restaurant (but that’s fine). It’s not as upscale as it looks in the pictures/they make it seem - it’s just a normal restaurant. They had a lot of takeaway orders though it seems.

I ordered the lobster shumai and it was definitely just prawn (shrimp) but they were actually genuinely very good so I won’t complain.

Lo mein was quite a large portion.

“Food was delicious and the hospitality was unmatched. Amazing service, you can tell a lot of care, love and passion is put into preparing your food. The kind lady was nice enough to even make a pair of toddler-friendly chopsticks for my 3 year old using a rubberband and a small paper block on the end of the chopsticks! My toddler was thrilled to use chopsticks to eat just like her mama 😂 We had the pork ramen with white broth, which they stew for hours for maximum flavor, and the spicy salmon sushi which was made fresh and was humongous! Also grabbed a rose lemonade which was soooo good. Highlyyyy recommend!“

“My wife and I ate in Phoshime 2 days in a row as the food was amazing and the staff were lovely! We met on the second night with our NYC friends who we hadn't seen in nearly 26 years! The female staff member whose name I didn't get,heard us saying it had been nearly 26 years since we were all together and she moved us to a larger table with more privacy! I can't stress enough just how good this restaurant is in terms of the food, staff and atmosphere! If you like Vietnamese food and you're in New York then this is the restaurant to eat at! Its an outside food cart with limited street seating, but these guys were open at 10pm when it was 27° the other night and they still had a line of people. Absolutely worth every cent.

“I realized I’ve never left a review despite ordering from here for YEARS. E-chiban has some of the best sushi in town for quality and price. It’s one of the few places I get delivery from and the quality and portion size is always great. Their prices have gone up, but I do feel with how much they give you it’s worth it (especially the salmon sashimi dinner)! Their delivery driver (Mok?) is always so kind, remembers my name and order, and is great at his job. It’s nice being a regular here. I’ve tried other places nearby and they don’t come close imo.“
