“Absolutely fantastic experience at Boiling Boys in Palisade! The portion sizes were generous, leaving everyone more than satisfied. The prices were incredibly reasonable, especially for the high quality and freshness of the food. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a casual yet memorable dining experience. A special shoutout to Laysha and Kelly, who were efficient, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. Their attention to detail and service was impeccable, elevating the entire experience. We will definitely be back soon, eager to enjoy another wonderful meal!”
“My family and I came here out of town and sincerely enjoyed the food!! It was a perfect taste of home and everything was really fresh. Customer service was also warm and attentive, which we appreciated. I highly recommend checking this place out!”
“I wanted to eat Korean food, so I searched and visited.
The gomtang soup is really rich and has no unpleasant smell and is the best.
I also highly recommend the additional boiled pork.”
“It's been a really long time since I visited. It's been a few years since I came here when my son was in my womb, and as I remember(?) from back then, my son really enjoyed it and my wife and I had a happy dinner.
The managers, servers, and even the owner were very kind and made me feel like I was being treated with respect.
I hope that you will continue to thrive and be able to eat delicious, high-quality food for a long time ?”

“I wasn't going to share this place with anyone because I don't want it to get crowded but I have to bc I love it so much. Presenting my new watering hole in Bergen! The location is where the old 21 used to be, on the top floor of the Son Jjajang building. Great happy hour everyday 4-8!! It's a steal considering how good the food is. Happy hour all types of soju are $8.99 and beers are cheap too. All the big dishes on the happy hour menu are between $14-$18 and I think the portion sizes are the same! I have yet to try something that I don't love on the menu. Their: Cheese buldak (fire chicken w/ mozzarella cheese.. ask for medium spicy if you can't do heat!) Jogae sujebi (Korean version of.. gnocchi? in clam broth..I always order another side of sujebi) Donkatsu (breaded & fried pork cutlet) Tofu & kimchi Ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes... I usually ask for cheese on this also lol) Tong dak (whole fried chicken) Gaeran mari (Korean cheese omlette w/ fried garlic on top) Budae jjigae (Korean army soup, goes great with soju!) and weirdly enough their giant plate of FRIES (idk what they do to those fries they're just fries but they're so good lol) are among some of my favorites. However, the food tends to be on the spicier side which isn't an issue for me, but if you can't handle too much spice be sure to tell your waiter. I can't say enough about how good the food is. The chef apparently refuses to use anything but the best ingredients and it shows in the taste of the food. Portions are big too! Obviously I eat here a lot... lol Oh and the servers and manager are all so nice!! One time we had a big party of 10 but they didn't have space so they put us in their only karaoke room in the back. We wanted to watch the US Open but we couldn't figure out the TV in the room so the manager found an HDMI cable and hooked his own cellphone up to it so we could watch. How sweet?!! At the moment they only serve soju and beer but I have been told that they will start offering liquor soon :) Like I said, I don't want this place to get crowded but they deserve the business with food and service like this. I hope they stick around and become a new staple in Pal Park! PS. The menu is entirely in Korean so bring a friend who is fluent or ask the waiters for suggestions! I will definitely have to mention to them that they should make an English version of their menu. Will be back with pictures later!”
“I really liked the food that I got here. When we went, the hotpot stuff was not available so the owner just told us to order off the menu. He reco'ed the gamjatang and it was really good. The meat was so soft and it slid right off. I particularly liked the veggies in there. I also got the bibim guksu (spicy cold noodles). I told the owner I wanted naemyeon so he recommended the bibim guksu. It was really flavourful. Also - who can say no to unlimited kimchi! Highly reco this place. The portions were great for really good prices. And the owner was very nice!”

“Most bagel places rush you, but the staff here is super kind and welcoming. Got the chance to chat with the owner who no doubt respects his own business and customers that visit... running the shop with passion and integrity. The food is quality and the customer service is top notch. Definitely coming back again!”

“The soup was so good - very tasty. It was a very generous serving and I did not leave hungry. The server was very nice too - she even refilled my kimchi for free. Would highly recommend.”

“The request was find the best pizza near our hotel. After comparing some reviews we headed to Urban Tomato. It’s in a neighborhood setting across from a church. The restaurant decor is simple but comfortable with a great hosts. We never felt cramped. The boys enjoyed a chicken pizza half garlic and half bbq drizzle and my wife and I enjoyed a fungi white pizza that was out of this world. I continue to say this, if g-d had given Jersey the water, their pizza would be king.”

“Cute and moderately sized place. Some dishes were mediocre and others I would get again; the yook gae jang noodles (spicy beef and vegetables) were amazing - the broth was especially great. The fried beef and steamed beef dumplings were just OK as well as the spicy rice cake noodle stir fry (wasn't spicy and little sweet). The chicken noodles are just OK as well.

“This place was recommended by my chef friend Jesse and it is amazing. My wife loves Korean cold noodles and the broth is killer at this place. Love how you can drink it hot first and then have it with your cold noodles. If you don’t feel like noodles, they have more options like kalbi, stew, bibimbap and more. Order at the cashier and wait for your number to be called. Service is fast and efficient but the food is the star.”
“맛있겠다 .. All delicious food they have. come and visit this place.”
“I’ve been coming to Donghae for about 4 years. They’re always consistent in providing great service and fresh food. The owners along with the workers are ver my friendly. As you come often, they start to recognize you and thank you for your loyalty. I’ve recommended this place to a few friends and they’ve all been satisfied. Best fresh sashimi set you can get in nj for sure.”
“The broth in this place is flavorful, and the ingredients are fresh and relatively plentiful. The only complaint I have is the buffet items, they are tasty but in a slow day where they don't run out quick enough, they get a bit dry or soggy depend on the food type. Overall a good place to have shabu shabu with reasonable pricing. Recommend to give this place a try.”

“Humble sushi spot with wife and husband pair inside a Korean catering store(Eun Ha Soo) that sells all things Korean including side dishes, packaged meals etc.
Fish quality and service is phenomenal. You can tell they care through food. I get the sushi and sashimi platter all the time and they never disappoint. Definitely a good local small business to support.
Important update from the owners that they do close by 8:30pm and on Tuesdays instead of the listing on google.
Come and support them, this place is a must try!”
“Very good service. Stayed at a hotel nearby and decided to try this out with the fam! Food was very authentic and good!Just a little cold since door is really close to the chairs other than that it was ”
“There aren't many places to have breakfast in Palpak.
Somunmanjip opens at 8 o’clock.
I ate soybean paste stew for breakfast.
The side dishes are fresh and the fried eggs and stewed tofu are delicious.
It's been a long time since I had a satisfying meal at Palpak, so I'm leaving a review.
The Korean female employee who serves alone in the morning answers the phone brightly and kindly and provides service.
I had a really pleasant and delicious meal.
If you want to eat Korean food, I recommend this famous restaurant.”
“The service at the front was lacking. We arrived but were neither greeted nor instructed to put our name on the waitlist, leading to a wait of over 30 minutes for a table. The skewers were okay; despite my craving for them, they didn’t quite hit the spot and lacked spice and a kick. I found the eggplant dish to be better than the skewers. Overall, it’s worth trying at least once, but I’m not sure if I’d return, especially given the long wait times. Also, remember to bring cash for a discount.”
“The chicken was so tender and thoroughly cooked. It was very delicious and warm. The woman on the phone is very sweet and deserves a raise! My father is picky and hates ordering because he thinks it’s a waste of money. But when we order from here, he said it was absolutely 100% worth the money. My children loved it as well. I recommend the honey garlic. Price was also fair.”
“It's been a long time since I ate meat with my friends, and the quality of the meat was the best, and I'm grateful to the restaurants who gave me a nice and delicious side dish that I couldn't taste anywhere.”
“Returning to Izakaya Kumade after a long time away was like rediscovering a hidden gem, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The food brought back memories but also surprised with new levels of flavor and quality.
I started with the Nagasaki, which was perfectly balanced—rich and comforting, with a depth of umami that only authentic Japanese flavors can deliver. Next, the salted pollock roe cream udon was a delightful highlight. The creamy sauce, infused with the subtle, savory essence of pollock roe, coated each udon noodle beautifully. It was a unique dish that really set Kumade apart, embodying the best of traditional flavors with a modern twist.
To complement the meal, I enjoyed a classic Suntory Highball, which was refreshingly crisp and balanced, enhancing the flavors of the dishes without overpowering them. But what truly stood out was the Suntory Premium Draft beer. This was, without exaggeration, one of the creamiest drafts I've ever had—the texture was silky smooth, with a subtle malt sweetness and a perfectly frothy head.
Izakaya Kumade has managed to retain its authenticity while continuing to surprise and impress. For anyone craving Japanese izakaya-style dishes, paired with impeccable drinks, this place remains a top-tier choice in NJ. Highly recommended!”

“I tried their Taro vanilla milk tea, it was so tasty, I also tried the dalgona milk tea, which was 4.5/5 , it tasted moe like biscoff than anything else. The tapioca pearls were the best though. I also tried the white bean pastry, i give that a 1/5, however my partner loved it. I tried 4 macarons: the white chocolate tasted like straight up butter, the honey lavander tasted like essential oil, the coconut macaron tasted good but slightly old, my favorite was the creme brulee macaron. Overall, I'd try the other macarons I was curious about and a different drink. The owner is very nice guy.”

“Satisfied both my cravings for Korean and Chinese food at once! Amazing mala dry pot as well as dakgalbi- me and my friends were stuffed!!! I highly recommend getting the kimchi fried rice where they mix in the leftover dakgalbi and shape it into an adorable heart shape!”
“I have tried many other wings but these wings are simply delicious! Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly shaped to grab and eat! I feel honored to be given the opportunity to try these wings. If you want some wings with some flavor, come to this place. Ask for Hwang, he’s the best!! Thanks Hwang!!”
“This is my second time visiting Jeong Yook. I came with my family, total of 8 people. We ordered two premium beef combos, pork belly, squid noodles and small intestine soup. The food and service were pretty good. We were definitely full, it was around $500. The quality of the food is amazing. I’ll definitely come back’
Also, please get their marinated prime boneless short rib! If you don’t, sorry, but you’re stupid.”
“Kudos Society has AMAZING desserts. I ordered the brownies (Red Velvet & choc. walnut), carrot cake (WOW!!) & "tres leches" (AWESOME!!) and they were all, excuse the cliché, "to die for." The featured pastry chef was "Chef Maggie" and I'm guessing anything she makes is also pretty incredible. We only got take out but the ambiance was really nice inside & the staff was super friendly as well (we even got to say hi to Chef Maggie & she was super cool!)”
“맛있어요 그런데 국물요리맛에 기복이 있어요. 보통 식당에서 팔지않는 별미들이 많아서 좋아요. 더욱더 새로운 요리들을 개발해주셨으면해요.”
“What a gem in the neighborhood! The food was fantastic, the service was great, and the owner was very kind and attentive. Highly recommend the Mandu dumplings and oxtail stew!”
“First of all, I ate pizza here in the U.S. and then I ate K Pizza here, and personally, it's better than Pizza Hot and Domino's. And you can feel that it tastes exactly like the pizza you used to eat in Korea. I especially recommend it to people who like gomma pizza.
The food tastes great, but the service is good. Just ordering takes a bit of time.
The atmosphere is just that of a regular restaurant.”
“Family owned small business that offers the best soulongtang (beef bone soups) and sundaeguk (blood sausage soups) in the neighborhood. Their prices have gone up since I first started going here years ago but the soup is still great and a decent value. The shop is no-frills with a few table tops and stools. Everything use to be $10 and then during the pandemic, prices varied and I didn't like that they didn't have their prices posted but now they do which is much more transparent. Their menu is still in Korean so you might need the help of Google Translate if you can't read Hangul.”
“The restaurant is in a strange area, The entrance is a bit hard to find. Once inside the restaurant is clean and service is good. Food comes out relatively quickly but the price is a bit high, I had the Kuro Ninniku Ramen which is their signature ramen with black garlic soup base. The broth was very good and very tasty however the portion could have been larger for the price charged, there was only one very small baby back rib. They do however provide Kirkland bottled water instead of tap water.
Overall it is a good restaurant with good food and good staff but the price is a tad high and portions could be a bit larger.”
“Fantastic food and service. This is exactly like the food I enjoyed at similar Chinese lamb skewer restaurants in Korea. I went in expecting to have to use Korean because a few reviews said no one speaks English, but instead I encountered non Korean servers and had to use English. They also spoke Spanish. There are menus available in Chinese, Korean, and English. You can get served here regardless of language. I highly recommend if you want something different from typical Korean barbecue. It’s also BYOB.”

“Press sandwich chain from South Korea. I have been a customer since they open many years ago. They have both sweet and savory options, their bulgogi beef and spicy chicken are my favorite. The staff has changed over the years but they have always been very friendly and service is always pretty fast. A lot of also people come here for their sweetened ice coffee, which I find to be a treat. They also offer bakery items as well as premade cold-cut sandwiches and gimbab (Korean rice roll). I recently notice them having Portuguese-style egg tarts too. It's located in the hart of downtown Palisades Park. Street parking only and sometimes it's hard to come by.”
“I catered the food, and they did it really neatly, so we had a great party ♡The food was delicious, haha. Even if I tried to add more, they told me to stop because it was enough...there was a reason hahaha. The portion was really generous~~ I'll order it again next time +_+”
“For a town with so many places to get kimbap, it is hard to earn the reputation of having “the best” kimbap in town, but they’ve done it. They consistently make the best kimbap in town fresh everyday, and they can even make kimbap to order, too.”
“Best food I’ve ever had I think they have the best food in the area and I’ve tried most pizzerias in pal park and fort Lee area there pizza is excellent there pasta and chicken parm is one of the best I’ve ever had there sauce tastes amazing and you can tell it’s homemade keep up the good work guys It’s my go to place now I order 3 times a week for my office”
“Best gimbap spot in the area. I’ve been to three other nearby spots and this one is by far the tastiest. The lady who is usually working there is also the most polite and courteous person I’ve ever met. I would give five stars just for her!”
“There are variety of rice cakes.. and they are all taste soo good.. scrumptious.. price is just right. The services are also great too.. strongly recommend this store.”
“Nice local New York style pizza, no frils or gimmicks or flops(no one is making flops anymore after barstools).. Clean place with a Friendly staff. Their squares are more like long rectangles, which is a good thing. Overall glad it’s within walking distance of me and nice addition to the community.”
“I have even Chinese my entire life and I have to say I finally found a delicious place and they’re open late amazing I go there every single day or every other day for green beans and garlic sauce they are just amazing friendly cheerful foods always on point just awesome I’ll give it 10 stars five is a little lowfor me who was looking for a good Chinese place for a while and they’re open late I mean till 11 that’s crazy that’s amazing”
“This is genuinely good Guatemalan food. We had the beef soup and ordered steak also but the portions of meat in the soup was so generous we didn’t even get too the steaks so we took them home. Service was very friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was very informal. Some guys were watching soccer on the big screen tv and others were sitting alone, no one bothered anyone. I’m definitely going back for that soup as the winter sets in harder.
Parking: It’s general street parking with meters I believe are only active on weekdays”

It's so delicious. It's the first time I've eaten Korean abalone porridge in the United States. The more I eat, the more fragrant it becomes. There are 12 shrimps in sauce for $36. The taste is great and not overly salty. The colorful rice and pancakes are also delicious. The more chewy the pancakes become, the more fragrant the whole meal is. All amazing!”
“사장부터 직원 매우 불친절..자리를 기다리는 사람들에 대한 관리가 전혀 없고 중간 중간 여사장이나 직원이 아는 손님이 오면 중간중간에 슬쩍 끼워 놓음.한시간 이상을 기다리는 손님에 대한 기본 예의 조차 없음..”
“Waiter is super chill. Ive been coming here many times with my coworkers after our night shift. Definitely a hidden gem.
Parking: Parking in the back”
“Small place that offers a good variety of dishes you find at a Korean eatery. We like to get the wrap set because it comes with a lot and a good variety of vegetables. I hope to try the other dishes in the future as well.”
“맛있겠다 .. All delicious food they have. come and visit this place.”
“I'm a regular here. Jjajangmyeon is delicious. It doesn't taste like sugar and tastes like Miwon. It feels healthy, right? Anyway, it's delicious. It was like that for a while after the store moved, but it seems like it's back to its old taste. In particular, the Jjamppong sweet and sour pork is generous and the best in New Jersey!”
“Their menu is diverse and well prepared. Super clean and chill bar in palisades park. Lounge area and smoke room which allows for variety of vibes!! Thank you will be going often”
“Overall a nice little place for good Korean style bbq eel! I recommend jjol myun as well. In addition, all the side dishes are pretty good . The owner is kind and very honest. Honesty is something I can rarely see from restaurant owners especially in
K-Town these days, but she is different!
I appreciate her service and definitely recommend this place.”

“Everything was great - just wish the tables were cleaner as we had to wipe them down before sitting. Also wish the prices were a little more friendly for certain items like the cookies (they are $5.50 for one before tax!)
My favorites are the black sesame and grain bingsoo. Also some of them like the green tea strawberry are on the bland side when you get them in the cup as opposed to the big bowl.”

They do however provide Kirkland bottled water instead of tap water.
Overall it is a good restaurant with good food and good staff but the price is a tad high and portions could be a bit larger.”
“On a Tuesday afternoon, I was craving soup, so I came with my wife, asked what the new menu was delicious, and had brisket jjamppong. Spicy Jjamppong, a white soup with plenty of bean sprouts, chives, and brisket... Wow, this is my first time trying it, but it's the style I like.. My wife and I ate it to our heart's content. It was a Tuesday so it wasn't busy so the food came out quickly and the server brought us onions and pickled radish right away so it was a pleasant meal out for the first time in a while.”
“Nice service and wonderful staff and food was good. I received the wrong food and right away they gave me service for the item I did order plus the original I received on accident. Thanks!”
“Plenty of parking, good food, good vibes.”
