“Such an underrated spot, they have some incredible food here! My fav is definitely their Berkshire tonkatsu and cha soba noodles ( so refreshing).

The tonkatsu is crispy yet juicy and tender - probably one of the best tonkatsu I’ve had in NJ.

“I had the curry pork cutlet, and it was absolutely delicious. The curry tasted so much like Abiko Curry in Korea, which brought back great memories. The pork cutlet was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and paired perfectly with the rich curry sauce. I also tried the cream curry pasta, and it was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. The portions were generous, the staff was friendly, and the overall dining experience was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Japanese-style curry!“

“We LOVE Haru Hana - it's our go to for sushi. Their rolls are delicious, and everything comes near and ready to go. Cozy little takeout store , convenient spot, with super nice staff. They're very cool and accommodating and we really enjoy it.“

“Koran food caterer. Not a restaurant. Eunhasoo is specialized in this particular food service. So each individual food item may disappoint you, but they are extremely competent when it comes to mass producing.

Some food items I highly recommend: Injeolmi rice cake, japchae, jeon (assorted fritter), namool rice, roast ribeye roll.“

“I came here a friend and had 2 rolls (salmon and tuna), one sea urchin, and one wagyu single piece. All the food was incredible. Some of the best sushi I've had in my life. My friend had 2 vegetarian rolls, which both were delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys higher quality sushi, especially at lunch since they have some discounted rolls.“

“This is such a cute place and the food was delicious! I came here for dinner with a friend and I got the Crispy and Spicy Sesame Chicken Donburi which was divine. The decor inside is super cute and cozy plus the service is excellent — they were so welcoming and efficient. Didn’t try the ramen this time but my friend did and it looked amazing. “Lingo was the perfect choice for a special celebration. I brought my daughter here and the night was great. It’s a beautiful space, genuinely warm and personable staff, and excellent Japanese-inflected food with a creative twist.

We did have one miss: the ribs were too fatty for our taste. But here's where Lingo service stepped in. Without any fuss, they took the dish off the bill and were so gracious about it. That kind of hospitality is rare and says a lot about how they run their restaurant.

Everything else was delicious and the vibe was just right for a celebratory dinner. I'll absolutely be back.“

“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

We only did the 12 course and regretted not doing the 17. We came for lunch at 12:30 on a Saturday and it was empty! Not many places open for lunch so I appreciated that they have lunch service. They also gave us some mochi for dessert to celebrate our honeymoon.

I’ll always recommend this spot and plan to visit every time I’m in New York.“

Music was dialed in for the Brooklyn crowd. Request the back patio for a cozy vibe.

We got the crudo, pork loin, mandu, scallop, and ramen and each was a hit in their own way. Really loved the mandu for being equally Korean and Japanese stylistically (the tuile is very clever!), and the scallop was the best I've had in a long, long time.

“Mikado Sushi has become one of my go-to lunch sushi spots. The sushi is always fresh and consistently good, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

I especially appreciated their service on one occasion when I accidentally placed my order at a different Mikado location. The staff went out of their way to communicate with the other location and helped remake my order for me. They handled the situation so smoothly and were very accommodating throughout.

Great food, great consistency, and genuinely excellent service. Highly recommend!“

“We ordered the Duck Shio Soba and Salmon Ikura Soba. The food was overall good. Wished the Duck Shio was sent out hotter as it arrived lukewarm and took quite some time to come out. The Salmon Ikura Soba on the other hand was great and tasted fresh.

Service was alright. I don’t think our server realized we were waiting over 30 minutes for our food. The overall cost was also a bit steep.“

And the dessert was to die for — not one but two, the tropical refresher and then the Fujisan bread with soy caramel and Japanese whiskey. Leave some room. For under $100, you get something like 10-12 nigiri courses and a few hot courses, plus a little sweet treat at the end. It was all good stuff too, incl some really yummy and fresh fish, items topped with caviar, foie gras (though this probably varies). Random fun thing: they let you choose your own sake cup!

Mostly counter seating but I saw a few 4-tops in case you have a group and want to socialize more.
