From the moment we walked in, we were in Awe! The atmosphere was so amazing, everyone was so kind and helpful, and the sushi was AMAZING! One of the best experiences in NYC! And you have to try the Tea and the Strawberry Mochi! 20 out of 10! 🎉
Omakase is only available at the counter so best to make a reservation but the premium nigiri was great. The service was friendly and the space is relaxed.
Excellent sushi but quite expensive. Lovely garden in the back. Amazing selection of sake whichvthe knowledgeable waiter can discuss. The service in general was top notch.

Guests have noted that the fish is impeccably fresh, with each piece melting in the mouth. The grilled black cod with red miso is described as yummy, while the scallop, uni, and eels are fantastic. However, some found the otoro a bit chewy and the handroll disappointing due to a non-crunchy seaweed wrap. Recently remodeled, the restaurant now boasts a beautiful omakase bar that enhances the cozy atmosphere. It is a great spot for those who appreciate good sushi. While the service can be a bit over-attentive, it is noted that the staff are attentive without being intrusive. The ambiance and hospitality from Chef Naoto make it a worthwhile visit. Hasaki is described as a hidden gem, offering one of the best values for authentic Japanese omakase in Manhattan, and highly recommended for a great omakase experience.
