Sushi was good but, the waiter asked me if I wanted my sushi to come out one at a time or all at once on a large plate. Told him I wanted one at a time, but then they brought it on one large plate anyway. Why ask in the first place then? My wife liked her food. Service was otherwise excellent.

Not the best sushi I've had in the city, but it gets the job done. The restaurant is located below street level and would be easy to miss in the dark if it weren't for the bright neon sign, which is the only thing that detracts from the feel of this place. Once inside, it feels quaint, cozy, and a little like you've been transported to small town Japan. To start, we ordered a bottle of Forgotten Japanese Spirit junmai off their substantial sake menu. I'd give it 2.5 starts. Food was just Ok nothing special about it. Sashimi and sushi wasn't fresh enough for some reason. For the amount of price that I'm paying for, I would pick some other restaurant and would never come back. Overpriced.
