Can’t say enough good things about this place. Dollar for dollar probably the best restaurant in NYC. Wonderful mix of flavors that elevates omakase beyond just sashimi or nigiri pieces. Perhaps not for the traditionalists but never disappoints
Had the pleasure of going to U on a Friday night. It was a solo seating, but the team made me feel so welcomed. Each dish felt thoughtful and carefully executed and got better as the meal progressed. Luis, the chef, took time to talk to each guest and answer questions. There were dishes he experimented with and they were all phenomenal.
