Truly enjoyed my first omakase experience. I got so lucky to have Yama-san to be my chef for the night. His skills were amazing and each nigiri was served with a smile and hospitality. I am sure there are omakases out there that deserve the highest praises but for me, I’ll hold this experience dear because each and every course I had were so heartwarming and I could see the integrity in Yama-san as a sushi chef. Immediately after I ordered the experience began. From the opening salad to my first bite of nigiri to my closing dessert everything was spectacular. It was a pleasure to meet each of them, especially Chef Kai who explained each delicious course as he made and presented it.
