Nozomi NYC @Williamsburg offers one of the best dining experiences. The food is delicious, fresh, and beautifully executed. The omakase is excellent, super thoughtfully curated, and paced perfectly. Every dish feels intentional. The 12-course omakase is fantastic, with standouts like the pasta course and the matcha beer. Smoked and dry aged sushi, hot plates in between, and a great selection of saki are also available. The value for the quality of the food and attention to detail is more than fair. The service is excellent, with detailed descriptions of each plate. The culinary director Max is a great host, welcoming, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. His energy makes the whole experience feel personal and fun. The open kitchen setup makes it easy to connect with the chefs. The ambiance is great, with zero pretentiousness. Nozomi is doing something different in Williamsburg. Come hungry, leave happy.
