“I wasn't going to share this place with anyone because I don't want it to get crowded but I have to bc I love it so much. Presenting my new watering hole in Bergen! The location is where the old 21 used to be, on the top floor of the Son Jjajang building. Great happy hour everyday 4-8!! It's a steal considering how good the food is. Happy hour all types of soju are $8.99 and beers are cheap too. All the big dishes on the happy hour menu are between $14-$18 and I think the portion sizes are the same! I have yet to try something that I don't love on the menu. Their: Cheese buldak (fire chicken w/ mozzarella cheese.. ask for medium spicy if you can't do heat!) Jogae sujebi (Korean version of.. gnocchi? in clam broth..I always order another side of sujebi) Donkatsu (breaded & fried pork cutlet) Tofu & kimchi Ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes... I usually ask for cheese on this also lol) Tong dak (whole fried chicken) Gaeran mari (Korean cheese omlette w/ fried garlic on top) Budae jjigae (Korean army soup, goes great with soju!) and weirdly enough their giant plate of FRIES (idk what they do to those fries they're just fries but they're so good lol) are among some of my favorites. However, the food tends to be on the spicier side which isn't an issue for me, but if you can't handle too much spice be sure to tell your waiter. I can't say enough about how good the food is. The chef apparently refuses to use anything but the best ingredients and it shows in the taste of the food. Portions are big too! Obviously I eat here a lot... lol Oh and the servers and manager are all so nice!! One time we had a big party of 10 but they didn't have space so they put us in their only karaoke room in the back. We wanted to watch the US Open but we couldn't figure out the TV in the room so the manager found an HDMI cable and hooked his own cellphone up to it so we could watch. How sweet?!! At the moment they only serve soju and beer but I have been told that they will start offering liquor soon :) Like I said, I don't want this place to get crowded but they deserve the business with food and service like this. I hope they stick around and become a new staple in Pal Park! PS. The menu is entirely in Korean so bring a friend who is fluent or ask the waiters for suggestions! I will definitely have to mention to them that they should make an English version of their menu. Will be back with pictures later!“

“This spot serves naengmyun that tastes better than most places in MD, though the quality of noodles are inconsistent. My son's noodles were undercooked and overly tangled, however, mine was ok. The LA galbi was very good and makes for a fantastic meal when ordered with their combo menu.“

“Been loving this restaurant for years… it is an absolute gem.

They offer an incredible banchan spread - clean, tasty, well balanced, never too sweet/salty - all homemade with care by their sajangnim (who also oversees the room with understated competence, the pro that she is).

Wife and I usually get chadolbegi and samgyupsal, and the cuts are always top quality. And you must know that their gyeran-jjim & denjang-jjigae (included with the meal set) are elite.

We always leave full and satisfied with the dining experience.

Notable that all of the servers are so attentive and friendly - especially Ms Kang, Ms Cho, and Helen unni (super mom of four grown kids!)… we always feel welcomed here, a neighborhood spot staffed by friends & family.

There are so many eateries in Fort Lee & Pal Park, which is of course a blessing… but Moo & Oink stands out and deserves all the stars!“

“First time here yesterday and the food is great! I love all the selections and there’s great vegetarian options. Their egg fried rice was super fluffy and soft, worth the try! I got about 1.5 lbs of dry pot at 0.5 spicy and it was too spicy for me. I also think the saltiness can be reduced. Service was quick and restaurant is clean.
Would definitely come back to try other items.

“I am absolutely delighted with the experience.
We visited for a family gathering and were shown to a private room; the service was attentive, and they kept refilling the delicious side dishes.
The sashimi was fresh, as was all the seafood. There was a wide variety of tasty accompanying dishes, and the staff were all friendly.
The aged kimchi was particularly outstanding—the assorted sashimi paired with it was truly delicious.
The portions were so generous that they even packed up the spicy fish stew for us to take home.
It was a truly enjoyable and delicious meal.

“I’m a snobby ktown LA born Korean American who lived in Korea. I talk crap about most Korean places because they’re just not as good as the west coast but this is by far the absolute best Korean bbq place in all of NJ/NY. Hands down. Super OG place that does actual charcoal grills you literally feel like you’re transported back to the 90’s getting fed Korean bbq at the only spot your parents went to. The place that you went for every graduation, special occasion and celebration. It really doesn’t get better than this.“

“Not sure why there are so many negative reviews about the service. I’ve been here twice for takeout, and both times my order was ready on time, even during busy periods. “I had an amazing experience at Tang Maru! The Sundae-guk (Korean blood sausage soup) was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich, deep, and full of flavor, and the sundae and meat were tender and fresh. It tasted like a comforting homemade Korean meal.

The side dishes were also excellent, and the service was friendly and welcoming. If you’re looking for authentic Korean soup in New Jersey, I highly recommend giving Tang Maru a try. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“If you want to recharge your energy, this is a must-visit, one-of-a-kind wellness food spot in Palisades Park, NJ.

With chicken so tenderly slow-cooked that the meat just falls off the bone, the combination with the rich, deep broth is pure art.
Aside from the classic chicken Baeksuk, the lineup including duck, neungi mushroom, lacquer, abalone, and Haesintang is incredibly impressive. Depending on your preference, it was great to be able to choose between the deep 'herbal broth' or the savory, chewy 'nurungji porridge.'

The variety of side dishes isn't huge, but the sweet and sour pickled vegetables served with it make an amazing combo with the Baeksuk.

On top of that, with the complimentary pancake that is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, it is a generous spread that will instantly bring back your lost appetite.

The portion is so huge at about 3 to 4 servings, the more people you go with, the better the value.
I highly recommend it for bringing your parents or as a group gathering spot for friends.

Because Baeksuk dishes require a long cooking time, a phone reservation at least 90 minutes in advance is an absolute must! If you just walk in, you might not be able to get a table, so make a reservation before you visit!“

“Visit the bakery yesterday, and it was worth every dollar I spend. The Pecan cream ring tasted just how I remembered when I was a kid. I also bought one double chocolate cookie, which was amazing!! I wish I bough more. The staff was super nice and helpful. I grew up in pal park, and the bakery was always the go to spot for our desserts. Keep it going and no slacking on the deliciousness. “I had the curry pork cutlet, and it was absolutely delicious. The curry tasted so much like Abiko Curry in Korea, which brought back great memories. The pork cutlet was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and paired perfectly with the rich curry sauce. I also tried the cream curry pasta, and it was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. The portions were generous, the staff was friendly, and the overall dining experience was excellent. “I've tried bossam, jokbal, and soondae here and they were all delicious!
Their portions are very generous and the taste is spot-on-authentic to what I've eaten growing up in Korea.
For those that are new to this page in Korean cuisine I would recommend getting the bossam combos to start, but my personal favorite has always been jokbal.

“I come across this place through Yelp and the presentation of the bingsu looks really pretty there. However, it looks like they don't do that pretty presentation anymore. It's kinda expensive but the portion is huge; like this 'small' size can feed 3-4 people. This one has mango, cheesecake bites, mochi, and condensed milk. The cheesecake bites can feel a bit too much after a couple bites.“

From the variety of side dishes to the bibimbap, galbi BBQ, cold noodles, seafood pancake, everything on the table was fresh, seasoned just right, and delicious. The servers were very attentive and accommodating. If you want an authentic Korean BBQ or Korean food, I highly recommend.“

“For what I ordered (steamed chicken with broccoli - garlic sauce on the side for dipping as you like - or don't), it's very good. The chicken when steamed (if it is good) is how you can measure if the restaurant is any good and it defintely passed the test. Most other Chinese restaurants chicken when steamed (with no sauce on it and eaten) will taste gamey and just not edible in my book. This was NOT the case.
Other than that, the parking is non existent in the later hours till closing in front of the restaurant as the parking is shared with tenants of the building above and other restaurants in the same location. Not good for being on route 5 I can assure you, but still doable.
Lastly, I know it's a Chinese restaurant, but they rush you off the phone when ordering without you finishing a thought or a sentence. I ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT.
Have one more minute of patience and you might make more money per order. An extreme turn off when ordering anywhere really.
Lastly, NO DELIVERY.

Paying staff a living wage and ingredient inflation is killing small businesses. At least it was very delicious. The employees are very consistent as well. “Good place to chill and get bubble tea after spa at King Spa! Huge interior to chill and relax! Location: It is located in Palisades Park. The store is big with a lot of seating! The interior is nice and you can feel that you want to study inside. Service: not that much interaction, i just ordered and go. Food: I only ordered BLACK SESAME BUBBLE TEA: it was good, and unlike other slushies that after a while you lost the taste. This one until the end you can taste the black sesame. They have wide variety of breads too, and I think they are good. Price rating: 5/10, not that bad. I will go there after spending my whole day at King Spa! Nice store to chill and relax.“

There are many choices for good Korean style fried chicken but i find BBQ’s to have the perfect blend of crispy/flaky on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside.
