“Best wonton soup. Courteous on the phone and ready within 7 to 12 min probably. Everything else I've had for years has been great. In front of a 166 bus stop and service and convenient to CVS and post office. Big after school hangout to be expected.

“I had a great experience at Gaya Garden in Leonia! The food is very clean, fresh, and well-prepared. You can really tell they pay attention to quality and presentation. Everything tastes light and nicely seasoned, not greasy or heavy at all. The place also feels comfortable and well-managed. “Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

Having dined at some of the finest restaurants around the world, we find that this spot rivals, and in many cases surpasses, all others. Our most recent visit was a mid-morning couple’s dining stop—our answer to a calling to bring pure health and exquisite taste into our bodies and souls. abcV was the perfect answer. We indulged in the unique “Pollen” smoothie (pollen, jungle peanut butter, dates, banana, almond milk, Himalayan salt). I can’t emphasize enough how delicious this chilled and creamy culinary delight was! Served elegantly in a cabernet-style wine glass, I could immediately feel my cells rejuvenate with this healthy creation. The warm vegan croissant was also lovely, with just the right amount of flakiness, perfectly paired with homemade apple butter—yum! Another ‘must-have’ highlight was abcV’s take on Avocado Toast, enhanced with Virgin Coconut & Argan Oils, Crunchy Seeds, Cumin, Sprouts, and shaved carrots. Wow! Thank you, abcV! “The food was good. We did order the very basic things like the burger and steak with fries. We also tried the souffle for dessert. Everything was good, but I'm not sure it was really worth the price. When this was a neighborhood spot and the prices matched (if that was ever the case), I could see it making a lot more sense. But at these prices, I don't think it maths. Nothing wrong with the food, but also not the best of anything I've ever had.“

“I took my son to Empire Steak House for his 15th birthday, and overall it was a great experience. The service was amazing, attentive, welcoming, and made the night feel special from start to finish. The sides, mashed potatoes and baked potato, were just okay and could've used more flavor, even with butter, salt, and pepper. But the steak... absolutely incredible. Easily one of the best steaks in the city. Definitely a spot I'd return to for the quality of the meat and top-tier service.“

“Somehow, I hadn’t been back to Quantum Leap since before they moved out of their original location in the village in the mid 2010s! Still has a similar vibe. Yes, they market as a vegetarian restaurant and confusingly do serve some chicken and fish, but 85-90% of the menu is vegan. I think the vegan dishes are totally great, home cooked style food with fresh veggies and ingredients. Yes, many Impossible and Beyond meat options, but the simpler yet hearty types of vegetable-centric and healthier-forward menu items are harder to come by at even many vegan restaurants in the city now. The staff is pleasant, friendly, and anticipated our needs. Nice place to enjoy a peaceful lunch or meet up with veggie and/or omni friends. Updated from previous review on 2026-03-13“

“I’ve never felt more at home in a restaurant than Deser B. And his team made me feel tonight. He was the most authenticly kind and hospitable person I’ve met in New York and needs to be promoted to running all of the stores the way he runs this one.
This was the most authentic Mexican taco in north America. Corn tortillas made in House for each order fresh. I tried all of the protein sources and every single one of them slapped. 20 out of 5 stars. I mean if you don’t go here while you are in town you are crazy.
The toppings and salsa were the best I’ve ever had. The tacos were ready in less than 1 min after I ordered. They are obsessed with being the best and it stands out“

“Standing room type of joint, waits can be up to an hour (which is not worth it, imo), but the pizza is very good and they know what they're doing. Soft serve gelato is also quite good, if a little over priced. A lot of competition around, but L'induatrie is up there among the better pizzas in NYC.“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“Went to Choo Choo Train with five friends. Ordered Miso Salmon entree and it was delicious. Salmon was grilled perfectly, broccoli and carrots were cooked well and still crunchy, and mashed sweet potatoes were yummy. Cannot say enough about food and attentive service. Will return...no doubt!“
