“Had a fantastic experience at Rudy’s in Cliffside Park. This is exactly the kind of old-school neighborhood Italian restaurant that feels like a true local institution. The atmosphere is cozy and familiar, and the food has that classic Italian-American comfort-food quality that keeps people coming back.
Rudy’s is especially known for its seafood, and the fried calamari is definitely something worth trying. They also have plenty of other great options, from chicken and eggplant parmigiana to baked clams, seafood pasta, linguini with clams, and other Italian favorites.
What really stood out to me was the people. The ownership was a pleasure to talk to, and I really enjoyed the conversation. You can tell there’s a genuine sense of pride in Rudy’s and in the community they’ve been serving for so long.
Overall, Rudy’s is a fantastic Cliffside Park staple. Great Italian food, great seafood, a cozy neighborhood atmosphere, and wonderful people behind the business. Definitely worth checking out!“

“Went for lunch. Parking limited, but in front. Quality ingredients prepared with attention to detail. Real waitstaff. Clean, Clean, Clean No rushing you out. Great containers for take home leftovers. Definitely recommend. Chef Ray“
“I ordered a combo over salad off Uber Eats but received the wrong order instead. I called the restaurant and Yasir whom I believe is the manager was a gem. He was apologetic and professional and offered me what I originally ordered for no charge.
This experience only tops my past experiences as I always order from this location and the food is always fresh as full of flavor.

“I ordered their chicken shish for takeout, and I was genuinely surprised by how tender and juicy the white meat was! The rice was also really flavorful and paired great with it. Plus, they had a BOGO deal on Uber Eats, which made it an even better value“

“Great place, this place literally cured my cold with their sopa de pollo. Tried the beef strew today, also stellar. Only problem is they run out of food a lot..but I guess that's a good sign. :) Great food, highly recommended - at at the location on Broadway between 160 and 161.“
