“I ordered a combo over salad off Uber Eats but received the wrong order instead. I called the restaurant and Yasir whom I believe is the manager was a gem. He was apologetic and professional and offered me what I originally ordered for no charge.

This experience only tops my past experiences as I always order from this location and the food is always fresh as full of flavor.

It just tasted so good even though I ate it cold straight from the fridge. 😊 It didn't taste as good when I had ordered it on site. “I didn’t know what I was missing - Uyghur Lagman. It is slightly different than Uzbek, but certainly authentic. The hand-pulled noodles here made all the difference, as did the kind and hospitable young woman at the counter. Wish I lived nearby so I could come here more often!“

“Honestly this is my first time having authentic Moroccan food, and the brother recommended me to have KousKous. And I chose the lamb. The KousKous was incredibly fluffy, delicate, and flavorful. My god it was amazing. The lamb was also pretty good, it was super tender and tasty. In my option though there was a bit too much veggies in the dish, but overall it was a great dish. I liked it a lot. Overall honest review I’d give this experience like a 9/10. Next time I want to try their Tagine! Insha’Allah“

“Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!

It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.

Only negative is that there is not enough seating and it can get super busy. It is a 10/10 and would recommend.“

“10/10 experience! We went to Curry in Handi for my mom’s birthday and had an amazing time. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, gave us great recommendations, and brought out a complimentary dish for us to try.

What really made the night special was that, without us even asking, they surprised my mom with a birthday cake and played a birthday song over the speakers. Such a thoughtful gesture and completely unexpected!

“In town for work from Seattle (where there is a tragic lack of Bosnian food). This is exactly what I needed after my long flight. Went out of my way to come here before going into downtown, and it did not disappoint!

The Cevapi were incredible; juicy, flavorful and the Kajmak was perfect!

There was no Cevapi left standing.

I will make it a requirement to stop here again next time I’m in town.

“It's going to sound like I know this guy but I don't. I go to Halal guys, but the smell from this truck just got the best of me. All 3 sauces, the rice, the veggies... STELLAR! My son and I have been ordering from Shah's 2 - 3 times a week for the past 8 months because the restaurant never fails. My son orders the meat combo and I order either the falafel or fish platter. Both of us order everything: white, hot, and barbecue sauce; chick peas and black beans. In addition to the cukes and tomatoes, customers can also add olives and pickled red cabbage on their meal!! “I’ve been coming here for a long time, and this used to be one of our favorite halal carts. We would regularly drive in from Long Island with groups of friends and family, especially for the falafel, which was always outstanding.

Unfortunately, since Hamza left, I’ve noticed a significant decline in both the service and the overall quality of the food. The owner has always been friendly and seems like a genuinely good person, so I’m not sure exactly what’s changed behind the scenes, but it just doesn’t feel the same anymore.

Today we came as a family, and there were three new employees working. It was pretty clear they weren’t happy to be there, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. We did have a larger order, but in the past that was never an issue—we were always greeted warmly and appreciated as customers.

I’m leaving this review because I genuinely want to see this place succeed. The food and service used to be exceptional, and I hope they can get back to the standard that made so many of us loyal customers.“

The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. I got the combo over rice with fries — crinkle cut — loaded with chipotle sauce, white sauce, hot sauce, and green sauce. Look at that box. That’s not a meal, that’s a flex.
The rice is a proper base, the meat is seasoned right, and the crinkle cuts hold up under all that sauce without going limp — which tells you the fries are fresh and the timing is on point.
