The first time I ate chicken and lamb over rice I ascended to become a greater life form and my credit score is now over 100. The falafel here is rumored to be made out of plutonium.“

“I ordered take out here and was happy with the food and experience. It took them 5-10 minutes to prepare my order that was quick and easy. I also thought the food was delicious. I enjoyed the chicken platter with a side of falafel and some baklava for dessert. The portion sizes were good and it was a great quick and easy meal. They do charge a service charge even when ordering take out which I thought was strange but overall it was a good experience!“

But if you’re someone who enjoys good service like me then this is not the place. after being sat down for 15 mins the server gave the menu. After reminding 3 times, we finally got water which was bottled and we were not told about I assumed they would bring tap water and on top of that they will randomly put 15% or 18% tip irrespective of party size. Waiting for menu for 15 mins and then waiting for water not sure what kind of service one is getting and to top it off getting the drinks ordered post meal! Again if you’re a foody then this a good place to try but not for the service.“

“So I just had iftaar with their tikka paratha roll that I had got last Sunday evening. It just tasted so good even though I ate it cold straight from the fridge. 😊 It didn't taste as good when I had ordered it on site. Then, without me even asking for anything, they remade it and gave it to me to take it home with me even though I had told them I was full. 😊😊 The largest portions I have ever seen anywhere, good food, clean, best interior and decor, excellent service. “Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!

It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.

Only negative is that there is not enough seating and it can get super busy. It is a 10/10 and would recommend.“

“My wife had been craving Tajen ever since we had it on Morocco. The food was as if we were sitting in Morocco. We ordered two soups Harir and lentil soup. I personally like Harir but lentil soup was ok. Then we ordered Lamb and fish Tajen one with rice and other with bread. Lamb Tajen was out of this world. Fish Tajen was good too. But if you don't have a big appetite, I would highly recommend skipping everything else and just have the lamb Tajen. Atmosphere was cozy and service took a bit of time because they make it fresh so be patient. Overall great experience of having Morocco food without spending thousands of dollars.“

“TL;DR: Food good. Service good. Portion to price ratio not that good. Get the biryani!
The food was well spiced. Portions were not really shareable. The chicken dishes were especially small amounts. The chicken 65($12)and chicken tikka($18) came with 4 small pieces and 5 small pieces respectively. The laccha paratha was also not even actual laccha paratha. With the bad out the way, let’s hear the good.
The service was very good, they take care of you and your needs. The biryani was tasty and the vindaloo had some nice heat to it. All the food was tasty, I didn’t have a bad dish. I would come here again.“

“Good price and quality. I always order it with the sauce on the side and one time they forgot the sauce and it still tasted amazing without sauce. I often order it without sauce now lol. Other places drench everything in sauce to mask the taste of low quality meat but not here. The meat is great quality and very flavorful on its own.“

My son and I have been ordering from Shah's 2 - 3 times a week for the past 8 months because the restaurant never fails. My son orders the meat combo and I order either the falafel or fish platter. Both of us order everything: white, hot, and barbecue sauce; chick peas and black beans. In addition to the cukes and tomatoes, customers can also add olives and pickled red cabbage on their meal!! “I’ve been coming here for a long time, and this used to be one of our favorite halal carts. We would regularly drive in from Long Island with groups of friends and family, especially for the falafel, which was always outstanding.

Unfortunately, since Hamza left, I’ve noticed a significant decline in both the service and the overall quality of the food. The owner has always been friendly and seems like a genuinely good person, so I’m not sure exactly what’s changed behind the scenes, but it just doesn’t feel the same anymore.

Today we came as a family, and there were three new employees working. It was pretty clear they weren’t happy to be there, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. We did have a larger order, but in the past that was never an issue—we were always greeted warmly and appreciated as customers.

I’m leaving this review because I genuinely want to see this place succeed. The food and service used to be exceptional, and I hope they can get back to the standard that made so many of us loyal customers.“

“It's going to sound like I know this guy but I don't. I go to Halal guys, but the smell from this truck just got the best of me. All 3 sauces, the rice, the veggies... STELLAR! The line wasn't unreasonable, there were about 5 people ahead and I still got my food within 15 mins. Honestly, this is one of those plates of food you take a cab for.

I got the combo over rice with fries — crinkle cut — loaded with chipotle sauce, white sauce, hot sauce, and green sauce. Look at that box. That’s not a meal, that’s a flex.
The rice is a proper base, the meat is seasoned right, and the crinkle cuts hold up under all that sauce without going limp — which tells you the fries are fresh and the timing is on point.
