“Hi all! Yesterday we ordered three lagmans to take with us and were absolutely delighted!!! I've definitely never tried this before! It was truly amazing!!! The portions are large and I thought about not eating it all at once, but I couldn’t stop myself? Very nice service. We were treated to tea, and they also close at 9, but they waited for us for half an hour, thank you very much for that!? I’ll definitely be back ?“
“While the restaurant has closed they are operating as a food truck. Please check their Instagram to see their daily location. Lately they have been in bed stuy. This review is for my visit over the summer. We went on a Sunday and received the following: seafood mac n cheese; hot honey oxtail sliders; blueberry cornbread and the Cater 2 U which has salmon, shrimp and crab cakes. No complaints on the food, the portion size or the customer service. Everyone is always nice. I've only met the male owner during my visits and he is the best! Sad to see the restaurant go but happy to see that they are still making food. Definitely check them out when you can.“
“I had got 2 bowls and 2 nachos bags with queso sauce for a responsibly price and the workers was very fast and polite . and not to Exaggerate I almost cried the way the food was so good I totally recommend everyone to come to this this spot !!!“
“i’m from philadelphia and i frequent brooklyn a lot. this place is always on the list for dinner! i get the lemongrass fried rice with fresh grilled salmon, and it is amazing! by far the best thai restaurant i’ve EVER been to. some nights i dream of the food “
“Super reliable spot, food is always ready within or before estimated time. Ordered online and to go several times over the past year. They offer a little bit of everything. Never had a bad experience, food is well packaged with plenty of sauces. They’re always busy with plenty of to go orders, but always welcoming and professional.“
“I was super skeptical to try this at first because it didn’t seem authentic but after i gave it a try i had to come back 2 more times because it was GREAT. Jerk chicken over rice is on top. I’d recommend this to anyone especially if you’re tired of a basic chicken over rice platter. Make sure to get their dragon sauce.“
“This is the best restaurant in Midwood in my opinion. The food is fantastic. Some unusual dishes that I have never had before as well as some old favorites that are made much better than anywhere else. Even the mango lassi is better than anywhere else. Don't miss the chaats and the butter chicken! The service is warm and incredible. And the owner is such a delight to talk to. I love this place! I'm so excited to hear that they are delivering during coronavirus epidemic.“
“Curry and Handi has delicious, truly fresh, and flavorful food. I think it is the best Indian food I have had since visiting India 2 years ago. As a vegetarian I appreciate the offerings and highly recommend the broccoli tandori. The service is excellent as well.“
“I went for an iftar and the food is sooo good. I have had this place on my list for over a year, and should have come sooner. The burger was so delicious. the quality of meat ?? The lamb chops were uniquely spicy and full of flavor.I dont often eat burgers, but I will come back again during Ramadan. Craving it at the moment.“
“we decided to give a chance to this halal Taco and gyro, and we are glad we did. We ordered 4 beef tacos and a side of seasoned fries. We all agree these tacos are better then Taco bell hands down. The beef was deliciously seasoned with a generous amount of topping and reasonably priced. The fries were a large portion and very well seasoned and perfect amount of salt. I suggest ordering a side of cheese dipping sauce it would pair beautifully, we'll get that next time. The menu has a lot to offer, we are excited to try other items and we'll be back soon!“
“This review is for 3rd Avenue Manhattan. Faroque greeted me as soon as I walked in. Had some nice conversation and then. Then this chicken sandwich came out. Wow is all I can say!!!! I had the Nashville which has coleslaw and a semi spicy sauce. Absolutely delicious!! Keep doing what you're doing. I'm super happy that you are our new neighbor!“
“Ordered on ubereats food came hot well packaged , ordered lamb gyro, chicken gyro and wedges, lamb gyro was not tasty, it was abundant with lamb chucks adequate amount of white sauce ( which also was not tasty), pita ( was soft and fresh), onions and cucumbers helped a bit, chicken gyro was way more flavorful would by that again and the wedges were good“
“My friends and I are visiting from Jamaica. We had the burger deluxe, fish sandwich hero and roast chicken on rice. All were very delicious! The owner is kind and heartwarming. Smelling our food being prepared in front of us as we chatted, was a tantalizing experience.10/10, we're visiting again!“
“Service and food was excellent! I got the combo over rice and it had a nice balance of flavors and textures. The meat had a nice spicy flavor that paired well with the creamy white sauce and rice. The vegetables had a nice crunch to them and helps balance out the soft textures of the dish. I would recommend this dish and get it again.“
“This is my first time trying out Uyghur. Here's a mom and pop shop that I would wholeheartedly recommend. Very kind staff and the restaurant's decor is thoughtfully done. - Samsa - very delicious. Especially with the sauce. - Manty - I don't think I've had skin this tasty before. The skin to meat filling is perfect. I imagine myself craving this in the future. - Lagman - lamb on noodles. Decent as well, but I would probably pass on this for more manty“
“I have nothing but positive raving reviews! Mustafa and Islam are people’s people! They were very kind, open and just overall amazing. I will be continuing to bring my business here. The place is was spic and span, the kids love them, and most importantly the food was BOMB!I ordered the mango habanero wings w/ranch, seasoned fries & tenders w/ Garlic Parm sauce. Both sauces were GREAT! The wings were perfect and the fries —-my vice—- were to dieeeee for.“
“I visited De Tandoori Knight on a Saturday 4/6/24. I was dining alone. The customer service was excellent. The restaurant was small but very clean and organized. The prices were excellent and the portions were great. I ordered Chicken Korma with Basmati rice, regular Naan bread and a Mango Lassi. The chicken was very tender, the sauce was creamy, delicious and not spicy. The Naan was good. I loved the Lassi. I had leftovers. I will definitely be returning. I am Puerto Rican and grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Growing up here there were no Indian restaurants. So happy to see more Indian restaurants now. I've been eating Indian food for about 20 years. To my Latinos try Indian food you might just love it. Not all dishes are Spicy. Visit this restaurant you may just love it like I did.“
“Вкусная еда, внимательный персонал. Чуток дорогой ресторан, но иногда можно))) игровая площадка для малышей большой плюс. Спасибо Алексу и Улугбеку за обслуживание сегодня)))“
“Its great having such an excellent BYOB restaurant in Bay Ridge. The food and service are both excellent and the ambience is very relaxing and tranquil. I found the menu/food choices/selection more than sufficient no matter what I have been in the mood for.“

“I was passing by the neighborhood the other night, and needed to grab some food as I was planning on working late. This restaurant showed up on my yelp search and was highly rated so I decided to pop in and give their food a try. The vibe here is mostly takeout, but they do have a few seats if you choose to sit here and enjoy your meal. Interior is very utilitarian, it's a main ordering desk with a salad station and the kitchen in the back. Cashier was friendly and helped me pick from their various menu options and suggested the chicken kebab. I asked for the Afghan rice with it because I am such a huge fan of fried carrots and raisins. Service was pretty quick, I didn't have to wait too long for my food to get ready and they were generous with the side sauces. I found the food really delicious, the topping of carrots was very well done, and the rice was fluffy without being too heavy or greasy, which I liked. The chicken kebab was perfectly cooked, it was not dry and I like the flavors on it although I do think that it could use a little bit more seasoning. For my taste, I did find the kebab a little bit on the bland side. Salad was good and the sauces complemented the meal very well. The white sauce was creamy without being too heavy and the red sauce was a good consistency and appropriately spicy. If you are in the neighborhood, come through and give this place a shot, they are definitely dishing out some amazing food.“
“My fiance and I were visiting from Michigan and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant for lunch. The owner was our server. He was the nicest person! Beyond that, the food was incredible. 10/10. I wish I could go here everyday for lunch and dinner. Amazing experience.“
“I had a couple slices of pepperoni pizza last month here with low expectations and was impressed. Best pizza in NYC? No but up there with the best $3 slices in NYC. The bagels are handmade here and lovely as well. But on to the star of the show: the Indian food is great. Chicken Chaat was really spicy in a nice way, a medley of great flavor with some heat. Samosas were fresh and crunchy on the outside. Lamb biryani was delightful, not too herbaceous but well balanced and nice meat chunks.I'll be back soon to try the Indian fusion pizza! Can't wait.Update: the Indian pizza is the best. Why is this not a thing yet? It will be soon. The crust could be better but the flavors on all their pizzas are phenomenal. The chefs here are creative and care about the quality they put out.I just tried their bagels again and maybe I got a fresh batch but they are so much better than I remember. Soft and chewy with perfect flavor. Not very dense but I think that's a plus. Omar's is one of my favorite places in Brooklyn. They deliver quickly and everything is great. We've ordered a dozen times from Omar's and have never been disappointed. My favorite dish is probably lamb korma. I hope they will offer a lamb korma pizza one day. I luv Omar's!“
“Decent halal food here with good portion sizes. The halal itself was older meat and bit more expensive than normal, but the pita bread was pretty well done. The Gyro was mainly lettuce too. Still a good spot for Halal though and there are many different options. The lamb could be better though, felt like it was warmed up in a microwave, but we did eat it at 3PM so ti could have just been some leftovers.“
“Lokanta just opened up a few months ago. I always walked by, and i decided to give it a try. The restaurant itself has plenty of seating and is well kept. I placed an order for pick up. I went with the mixed grill entree. It was flavorful and tasted charcoal grilled, which I love. The ambiance is alright. It isn't a dimly lighted restaurant but doesn't need to be. I will stop by again and try more of their food.“
“One of the best halal carts in the area. Normally get the mixed over rice with pita bread and before I get there it’s already ready. No matter who’s working it’s always a great meal paired with great conversation with the person making my meal. Highly recommend if you’re ever in the area.“
“I’m only reviewing it as a takeout/delivery restaurant, but this is some of if not the best Indian delivery I’ve ever had. The curries are rich and flavorful and the chicken is cut in large generous portions. The naan is always fresh hot and fluffy, the vegetable biryani is packed with gorgeous flavor, and the vegetable samosas are large and perfectly crispy. Now, I’m not expert on Indian food, but I’ve eaten a lot of Indian delivery around the USA and I’m having a hard time thinking of a more consistently great Indian restaurant for delivery.“
“Best halal cart PERIOD. The value for the food is great and the portions are generous. The food tastes good and the cart owner, who is a great guy to talk to, always seems to be experimenting with new things every week. I recommend this place for anyone who's looking to get a good $5 plate of chicken rice.“
“Best Halal food in the area!!! 10/10 the platters and wings are to die for! Anytime I come to Brooklyn I’ll be coming here first. Serving size is huge! Customer service is 10/10. A very nice man named Homid helped me and he definitely blessed me. I recommend to check this place out.“
“Fatima Grill sounds like a fantastic dining spot offering a delightful fusion of Mexican and Middle Eastern cuisines. Birria tacos are a standout recommendation. It seems like a place worth visiting for those seeking a unique and delicious dining experience.“
“Absolutely delicious and LARGE portions! We have gone back a few times now and have gotten the chicken tenders (very large - similar to Popeyes) the wings - got the lemon pepper, and the chicken over rice bowls which were absolutely delicious, one of tbe best in the city! Everyone’s always been extremely nice, and delivery has always been quick. Highly recommend“
“On a day when comfort food was the order of the day, Coney Island House of Wings really delivered. This was my first visit, and I will shout it from the rooftop that this is a business the community should support. The food is fresh and the selections of wing sauces make my taste buds sing. And don't sleep on the waffle fries. They're a meal. Lou, one of the owners, is wonderful to talk to,, and very generous and accommodating! I want to see these Bay Ridge brothers who are educators as well as entrepreneurs, succeed. Patronize and you will taste the good energies in the food.“
“For my birthday I wanted to try somewhere I had not been but that had been on my to try list and Bedawi fit the bill! Having fallen in love with Arabic food in Jerusalem many years ago, I am picky about where I eat it. Bedwai did not disappoint! We ordered a Merguez (ground lamb) Platter and a Chicken Platter. Both the lamb and the chicken were perfectly grilled and flavorfully seasoned. The accompanying baba ghanouj was exceptional and the warm, freshly baked Jordanian style pita bread sealed the deal! The cafe is small and nicely decorated giving patrons, along with the arabic music being played, a sense of being in the middle east. Portions are generous and prices very fair. Highly recommend but get there at an off hour because they fill up quickly!“
“The guys working here run it like their own family restaurant. Really nice, clean - great service, pride in their food. The food itself is excellent. No joke, the Extra Hot is nuts. I didn't do their "Reaper" apparently you need to sign a waiver! Highly recommend, great quality! To the homie who helped my daughter and I out yesterday (March 14th), thank you! ?Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff, helped me clean up etc.“
“Indulging in a feast fit for royalty, I discovered an Indian restaurant that delivered beyond imagination. The butter chicken and garlic naan were the stars of the show, tantalizing my taste buds with their impeccable flavors. What's more, the generous portions and affordable prices make it a dining destination that's hard to beat.“
“Best cart food in downtown Brooklyn. The prices are awesome for the quantity of food provided. Lamb is always fresh, and the sauces over the rice with pita are absolutely delightful. If you're in the mood for cart food, try this place. You will not be disappointed.“
“We loved the food at Joloff! We decided to explore a Senegalese restaurant during our visit to Brooklyn. Given that the African continent comprises more than 50 countries, African cuisine is diverse according to the region of the continent. Senegalese food is a cuisine that stands out.Pay attention when trying to locate the restaurant on Bedford Avenue, you will only see the word "Joloff" in green letters on the glass in front. If you are driving it is easy to pass by.The restaurant features small tables covered with beautiful traditional West African fabric, and livens up the place. The service was superb, the waitress was attentive and very kind.We began with the fried yuka accompanied by a sauce and a hot ginger tea. The yuka sticks offered a delicate flavor, and the unsweetened ginger tea packed a punch. Since the ginger tea is unsweetened you have the option to add the amount of sugar you desire. The floating mint leaf in the tea added a nice touch. For our main courses, we chose Mafe Ganar – chicken stewed in peanut sauce with vegetables, served alongside jolof rice. The peanut sauce delivered a smooth balance between the peanuts and the vegetables.Another dish we tried was okra and jolof rice, which was well cooked and had a pleasant flavor profile. One thing to note is that Joloff has a comprehensive vegetarian/vegan section on the menu, a feature I have not seen in other African restaurants.Joloff restaurant certainly earns my mark of approval.“
“Zatar is a gem in the neighborhood. In the mornings, it’s a great low-key place for coffee and morning breakfast. But the Mediterranean did shines for lunch and dinner. Very kid friendly. Get them the flat bread pizza which honestly is amazing pizza on its own right (adults will be stealing from their kids). The falafel and hummus samplers are incredible. And personal favorite are the lamb chops with the fragrant rice. It is truly delicious. Hope this spot never goes away as it’s irreplaceable. Only knock is that they don’t serve alcoholic drinks. So no wine ? but great food!“
“This is a brand new franchise in my neighborhood. They have 15 stores around Queens, this is the second one in Brooklyn. I tried the falafel over rice, so delicious and the service is so delightful, and everyone is always smiling and willing to help and answer questions. The place is new so it very spacious; so there's a lot of room. They also serve dessert“
“Every time I go, I know my meal is going to be delicious!! She is fast and is always helpful. For example, SHE told me and made me recognize the city worker discount and hearing it from HER instead of an app or some silly sign (she has a nice sign btw) is pleasant and well recommended.“
“I went here for lunch yesterday and had the Hanger Steak on Whole Wheat Pita (it was on the specials menu) and it truly made my day. So flavorful with sautéed onions and a delicious side salad. I HAD to write a review to help spread the news, the food was fresh and unbelievably good and the service was top notch. <3“
“I was drunk as hell ? got some chicken over rice with white sauce mozzarella sticks and a sprite. If your drinking don't get the white sauce it is a trigger for vomit as soon as I smelt it I kinda knew but obviously my judgement was empared. I fell asleep for a bit but they didn't bother me. I hopped up just in time not to mess up their lovely establishment but I lit the street and side walk up. ketel-one me-zero my g ?. The staff was friendly and open to Convo. The meal was good my stomach just wasn't ready I finished my meal in the morning. Chicken was seasoned well but you know me I put a lil more salt and pepper. The rice and fries were cooked well and the mozzarella sticks where ok. And the sprite was hitting as always. I'll go back if I'm on another liquor store hunt. Ps drink responsibly“
“Great fried chicken sandwiches, fast service and cool atmosphere. Limited seating so expect a wait at busy times. The nashville and tikka sandwiches were both packed with flavor and cooked well, all at a reasonable price. Masala fries were great as well but didn’t pair well with the chipotle sauce. Would go back and recommend!“
“Great Eats if you're ever in the neighborhood I'll meet you there. The owner and staff are very informative in explaining the menu and the flavors/and ingredients of the foods The Establishment is very clean and decor is small but family welcoming cozy. The prices are very reasonable and The food is fresh and spot-on delicious...“
“Ordered late night with a 2 for 1 deal thinking I was going to get mid-tier late night fast food. Ordered the firey wings with fries let's start with the bad... the fries were just shoestring fries and in delivery weren't great. BUT WHO CARES ABOUT THE FRIES! THE CHICKEN WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING perfectly crispy and well seasoned , did I mention super juicy?! Doesn't stop there I Ordered some Cole slaw and Mac and cheese again only thinking I was getting basic late night fair. Nope Mac and cheese was amazing a gooey and super cheesey the coleslaw was pretty basic but still a step above the rest. Needless to say I will be making this a staple in my ordering and now have to make it to the store front I bet it smells amazing. 12/10 this place kills it!“
“Recently ate at First Oasis with a friend. The food was absolutely delicious. Hospitality was fantastic. Truly felt like they took pleasure in hosting us. They tend to do more take out and delivery business but Im not sure why. Sitting down to eat there was a delight. Wishing them all the success. Hopefully will be able to return soon.“
“This place is one of the best halal spots in all of New York. Their chicken over rice is full of flavor and chicken doesn’t get chewy or dry. The rice is cooked perfectly and perfectly moist. The fries are a great touch to chicken over rice platter that I never knew would work so good. I used the pita to scoop the chicken and rice and topped it off with extra white sauce and that tasted magnificent. Their hot sauce also is a perfect spice level. 5/5“
“I was craving some oxtails and ran into this place on google and I tried it out the two ladies were friendly and they pack the container very well .I had gotten oxtail with rice and peas and Mac and cheese.Oxtail was very tasty but seasonedRice and peas was very good as wellMac and cheese was delicious and perfect texture for me .I had also gotten a cheesecake and banana pudding.Cheese cake was deliciousNot really a fan of Banana pudding but this one was good too.“
“Open late and an amazing late night meal after a night out. I would order this even if it wasn't 3 in the morning my friend swears by the chicken over rice as her go to and I had the falafel roll. I will tell you the spicy sauce is no joke and I can usually handle a bit, so proceed with caution. I'm excited to try more things on the menu!“
“Awesome food, very authentic. Our server was very friendly and professional. We had a great time. Favorite dishes were baba ghanouj, hummus with meat and the cauliflower steak. Red wine was so good. We sat near a sunny window and there was fairuz music so the atmosphere was perfect for a lebanese.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs. My toddler liked the food.“
