“The food was amazing, I ordered the falafel sandwich which was $8 and the chicken over rice which was also $8. Both were well made and the portions were generous. This is a bang for your buck considering how expensive meals are in this area. They even have a green sauce available that they make themselves.

Kazi himself despite a bit of a language barrier is an awesome person to speak to, he is generous in terms of helping his clients out both in pricing and with his sympathy. The service is awesome and overall I would recommend this halal cart/food to anyone out there!“

I came from the 6six, and the price was really reasonable, 5 stars, i got the chicken bowl which was my first time here, even though i wanted to try the lamb, but i chose the chicken which i thought you could never go wrong with. I’ve been to so many restaurants, but none compare to the flavor and quality here. “This fried chicken sandwich was way better than I expected. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside—no dryness at all. The seasoning had the right balance of flavor and heat, and the bun was soft, fresh, and held everything together without getting soggy. The pickles and sauce added the perfect tangy kick that made every bite even better.

“I went to Brooklyn Kababa, a Yemeni restaurant, and I absolutely love their food. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. I got the buffalo hot & told ack to mix it with the Thai chili sauce, GAHTTTTTTT, MASHAALLAH !!!! They were the best wings I’ve ever tried, I can’t even lie. Crispy, tender, flavorful, they surprised me. Wife got the lamb platter & said it’s the best she’s had. They really do cook back there with love & effort. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!“

“Food is always great but its been about 7 times that I have went and the fried chicken has run out, and it takes 15-20 minutes for it to cook. I feel like they need to better manage the timing. Once they see that the chicken on display is half gone, they should already start frying a new batch instead of waiting for the last min where there's less than 10 pieces for them to now start frying the new batch. Also they have a limit on breast they fried in each batch. So if the few pieces are gone, you will now have to wait for the new batch to fry and that can take over 45 mins, especially if they are not ready to fry a batch. Other than that, the food is great and the staff are also very friendly.“

“I've been eating New York City halal cart food since 1998 when my wife worked on the corner of 53rd and 6th Avenue. I would grab a mixed platter from Halal Guys while I waited for her.

Then I became a fan of Adel's a little further down the street on 49th and 6th.

My new favorite is this cart in Williamsburg. Service is friendly and fun and most importantly, the platters are tasty, cooked to order, and priced at pre-Biden prices!

“Oscar has AMAZING customer service. I asked for nachos which they don't sell, I always get the fries but I was craving nachos badly bc it's my favorite. He asked me if I had a lil time to wait. I said sure, went and sat in my car. Came out few mins later and seen a fresh batch of pita chips being fried. I was pleasantly surprised.
