“Love the chill atmosphere and the food. Service was great. I’m not big on spicy food so I ordered the naked fried chicken which came with a separate chilli dipping sauce, I tried the chicken with the sauce and it was actually a nice mix. It wasn’t too spicy which my stomach was able to handle. I also highly recommend the cheddar cornbread and dirty fried rice!“

“Ok, I never write reviews, but I've had two phenomenal experiences at The Fly and needed to share!! Not only is the atmosphere perfect (lighting, candles, sexy, ENERGY, music!!) and food perfectly executed (cesar with the crispiest romaine! The green beans! The green sauce! The potatoes! The chicken!!!) but what stands out to me most is the hospitality. It's exceptional. Warm, inviting, attentive, playful. You feel taken cared of, special, safe, and like you belong – I truly cannot say that about many places in NYC where folks are jaded and, in my opinion, have lost the art of true hospitality.

This is a neighborhood spot I will return to again and again and again. HUGE shoutout to Hector and Peter for giving us two amazing experiences both times. We had a blast and that's really what it's all about. We love you guys!! Thank you for all that you do – it's really important work. xx“

I had a great interview experience. There is a huge amount of traffic along the B6 bus line because of road closures and I was late! I was still interviewed, thank goodness❤️ I picked up a “”Pineapple Quencher”” ???to walk home so I wouldn’t have to deal with the bus. I LOVE Jollibee and I’m so happy Brooklyn has locations like New Jersey where I just moved from. I will be a loyal customer forever ??✨“

“This place is just as advertised. Quick and simple food done very well, for a great price. I got the 1/2 chicken combo with Greek lemon potatoes. Everything was solid, the chicken was nicely cooked and juicy with a classic rotisserie flavor. The lemon flavor came though nicely on the potatoes. You also get a green sauce that comes with the meal that adds a nice acidic herbal flavor. Also, I got the grilled buffalo wings which I really enjoyed. Many places do not offer grilled, so I really appreciated this. I find especially for takeout, fried wings lose the textural component and become soggy. The grilled adds an extra depth of flavor that I personally enjoy. Overall great value.“

It's consistently delicious and full of so much flavor that I'm inspired to order something different every time I visit (my pic is the chicken kofta combo with rice and salad). I'm so happy I no longer need to hop on the R to Bay Ridge to enjoy Lebanese food because Barouk nails it every time and at very affordable prices. “Probably one of the most excellent grab and go meals money can buy! Get a rotisserie quartered and point at the sides from the hot table to go with it. They’re all good, especially the Mac and plantains. Sausages, steamed veggies and ribs also slap. I dooooooo miss the sandwiches though :)“

Delicious and pretty fair prices for the neck of the woods it’s located in. I had the chicken and waffles twice and my daughter had the chicken fingers combo with fries. “This is the only Halal spot around the area, relatively affordable, and relatively good tasting. Very good if you live around the area and feel hungry for some fast food.

One thing I liked about this place, is a while back, a worker gave me assurance that this specific spot was 100% Halal.

Workers are quite polite. I don’t think I ever had bad service. They used to not charge taxes for cash, idk if they started doing that or if it’s only for cards.

I would suggest to get the combo because they give so many fries and a soda for $3 more.“

“Chicken and rice is beautiful, best I’ve tried in Brooklyn. They improved a lot since I was in town a year ago. The marinated chicken is very tasty, I think they use tomato, and the chicken is very well cooked, not greasy or anything. It is a little spicy tho, but the rest of the food balances it out. Rice cooked perfect as well. I remember last year I came here the rice was dry.“
