“First time visiting, and it was an amazing experience. The food was great, but not the best I’ve had. The chicken was pretty good, but it could’ve been a bit crispier and a little less seasoned. The Potatoes were AMAZING!We went for a friends birthday and did family style dinner which was a great experience. The service was A1 our waitress tended to all our needs and was within arms reach whenever needed. The atmosphere was great. It took about 10 minutes to be seated, there were an influx of people. I had an amazing time hereVegetarian options: A lot of vegetarian options available.“
“Lovely, welcoming staff, relaxed atmosphere and good food that feels like you're doing your body a favor. Went in to eat and have a drink alone on my way home and ended up making friends and having a randomly fun sunday evening. Will be coming back whenever I'm in the area“
“The best popeye I went with my family to this popeye and the food was delicious, I will surely return with my family, the place was clean, the workers are friendly, especially the manager Lozano, he took my order, he is a good person, It was a good experience . . Excellent client service.“
“Shawarma bomb!! like in Israel!! Put a lot of tahini and amaba!!produced well!! Great service!!Great food great service amazing place truly awesome experience. Come check it out. If you're hungry that's the best place for Israeli guys that want to have a little taste of Israel!!“
“Came all the way here from Los Angeles! This is a family owned business and they have another business here in Brooklyn! I love New York and the food was amazing! Will try again! Definitely try everything!!!! So delicious! Met the owner and very nice person! Very “
“The guys working here run it like their own family restaurant. Really nice, clean - great service, pride in their food. The food itself is excellent. No joke, the Extra Hot is nuts. I didn't do their "Reaper" apparently you need to sign a waiver! Highly recommend, great quality! To the homie who helped my daughter and I out yesterday (March 14th), thank you! ?Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff, helped me clean up etc.“
“Great fried chicken sandwiches, fast service and cool atmosphere. Limited seating so expect a wait at busy times. The nashville and tikka sandwiches were both packed with flavor and cooked well, all at a reasonable price. Masala fries were great as well but didn’t pair well with the chipotle sauce. Would go back and recommend!“
“Ordered the veggie burrito bowl. A great option for vegetarians, vegans and people looking for gluten free options just tell them to hold the sour crème. The bowl basically has grilled veggies like eggplant, squash, tomatoes etc over a bed of yellow rice. It comes over a tortilla wrap however you can tell them to exclude or just not eat it. In times where you’re hungry and need a full meal this hits the spot. Great flavors, fresh ingredients and made to order. My favorite place for a Mexican style veggie bowl.“
“Funny , as I get older I don't frequent local bars but I'm glad I found the Commodore in Brooklyn. We needed to stop for a bite before going to the Brooklyn Art Haus and someone recommended them. The chicken platter and the chicken club was awesome. You have to order from the bar and they bring the food out. It was a typical bar, but the ambiance was friendly and we really enjoyed it.“
“Very great employees, speak respectfully and honest to the customers and we feel very welcome when it comes to asking for opinions and great chicken with many flavors and options on the menu. Would recommend to anyone who loves spicy foods.“
“I give very little opinion about the restaurants but I want to tell you and share this experience with this restaurant, for me it is the best chicken in New York, the mashed potatoes, the salad and its green sauce, the juices are 100 out of 10 hehe 1000% “
“The place was very warm, the manager was very friendly, very clean, and I think that's what we all look for when eating at a pollo.campero. They gave me some delicious empanadas ? It was my first time at this pollo Campero, it was very good, I was delighted with it. “
“Ordered late night with a 2 for 1 deal thinking I was going to get mid-tier late night fast food. Ordered the firey wings with fries let's start with the bad... the fries were just shoestring fries and in delivery weren't great. BUT WHO CARES ABOUT THE FRIES! THE CHICKEN WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING perfectly crispy and well seasoned , did I mention super juicy?! Doesn't stop there I Ordered some Cole slaw and Mac and cheese again only thinking I was getting basic late night fair. Nope Mac and cheese was amazing a gooey and super cheesey the coleslaw was pretty basic but still a step above the rest. Needless to say I will be making this a staple in my ordering and now have to make it to the store front I bet it smells amazing. 12/10 this place kills it!“
“The food was amazing! It was our first time and we loved it. The service needs a lot of work. There was a line but it moved fast and we were quick to place our order. It took 40 minutes to receive the food after ordering. Everyone else was receiving their food after a reasonable wait time except me and the couple that ordered right after us. I had to ask at the 30 min mark and then finally received it at 40 min. We ordered to eat in but received it all in a take out bag. We ordered a #1 (received a #1 but charged a #2 on the receipt) a #3 ( but only received 1 slider, tender was missing) and a #4 (but received and extra slider). We made it work since we got the total # of chickens that we asked for and could not wait any longer for them to correct it. The dining room is a mess! We were there for well over an hour and not once did anyone come out to wipe down tables as diners were leaving. Everyone that came in had to sit at a dirty table if they wanted to dine in. An employee, in uniform, was eating at the far back right corner table during dinner rush ( Friday night 5:30). When the employee finished they also did not wipe down the table and left it dirty for the next diner. The overall service is unimpressive for a location that just recently opened (Cicero, NY). We will go back because the food was fabulous but we will not be dining in and will definitely check our order before leaving.“
“I never leave reviews but this place is so great I had to give a shout out! I love Lebanese food and everything here is incredible and authentic, all home made and it shows. Definitely stop by in person and chat with Abdullah, the owner - as others mentioned he will make you feel so welcome, best part of the middle eastern food experience!“
“The spicy chicken sandwich I had ordered wasn't even mildly spicy, was it?My fries were tasty and generously portioned. All I had ordered was the spicy chicken sandwich combo, but the wait seemed endless. I believe I was had to wait for twenty minutes.“
“I've been eating here weekly for years! An outstanding neighborhood restaurant. Great food and staff. All of the chicken dishes are terrific, but so are the soups, salads, and sides. Vegetarians will still find plenty to enjoy. Don't skip the delicious "purbird sauce" or chargrilled pita.“
“I feel very sad that I didn’t find this place sooner. Insanely delicious food. The cornbread is one of those things you taste and are literally transported elsewhere. The veggie terrine is also delicious. And highly highly recommend the root veggies and okra and sweet potatoes and collared greens!“
“I am looking forward to trying Dave's Hot Chicken. Now, two things, I make minimum wage and already find it tricky paying the $2.90 bus fare, so what can you recommend that is priced fairly but also fulfilling for lunch? Also, I'm not too fond of spicy food. Please let me know, thanks.“
“First time here. No frills, quick and friendly service. Ordered 2 combo platters. Quarter chicken with corn and mashed potatoes, pernil with mashed potatoes and french fries. Paired well with their spicy green sauce. Very filling, I still had a good portion left to take home. Fries were thin and crispy (they fry it in front of you). Mashed potato was yummy, can't go wrong with this. The chicken and pernil were also seasoned well. I'd come back to try other items on their menu.“
“Hey! I dropped in one night after some drinks and good times after a successful million-dollar home sale and bam! "Don't judge me" lick my fingers back home. The chicken didn't make it ? service was good but not a ton of smiles just give me the plate. I was fine with that. Atmosphere? - A grab and go take out joint. Leave expectations at the door and enjoy the food.“
“Really awesome Korean Fried chicken. They have so many different selections of kfc and always walk out with a satisfying meal. The fried chicken sandwich was also really tasty. The interior is so cute and cozy. The staff were super nice as well. Will be def coming back!“
“The food is hot and fresh. I love that the guys pay attention to details. Super cool and down to earth. I love their fried chicken breast always good a juicy, yet completely cooked.Kid-friendliness: My children love their chicken fingers and nuggets“
“This is my favorite chicken spot I’m very much in love with their chicken over rice the sauces that goes on the chicken over rice are really good y’all gotta try the white sauce for sure ?Their food it’s fresh I see them dropping the chicken in the fryer machine right in front of meChicken tenders freshChicken sandwiches Fresh and crispy very tastythey have a lot of things you most go and check everythingWorker are very nice and respectful“
“I must say, the food quality is a bit better than I expected! The burgers are tasty & filling, and the fried chicken is crispy & seasoned well. I work nights & sometimes pick up something for "lunch" around 2am & am usually not disappointed. The prices aren't bad & are comparable to other fast food restaurants. I just hope they get some of those mini sweet potato pies!“
“Very lovely chicken spot in Brooklyn. I had the BBQ chicken sandwich with kimchi fries and both were good. I wasn't a big fan of the BBQ sauce they use but that's just personal taste. I enjoyed it regardless. Loved the atmosphere of this place as well. They have framed photos everywhere of various cartoons, games, artwork, etc. The service was great as well. Definitely would recommend coming here with friends or family on a nice day.“
“Welcome to Brooklyn, Jollibee! I have heard many good things about their chicken (and their famous peach mango pie!) so I decided to pay a visit Friday night. The store is located in a sort of mini mall complex that houses several other eateries, including Smashburger and Red Ribbon Bakery. There is an elevated parking garage as well, which comes in handy as parking can be difficult to find here. When I visited, they unfortunately were not ready to serve spicy fried chicken or ube pie yet, so I opted for the 10 piece bucket ($22.99), the pineapple quencher ($3.49 each), and the peach mango pie ($2.99 each). Although I came on a Friday night for takeout, there were plenty of DoorDashers and people sitting down to eat as well. I did not have to wait for very long, and the staff was extremely friendly and well-trained. As for my thoughts, I found the fried chicken to be a little too well-seasoned for my liking. I would have preferred it to be less salty, but when dipped in the gravy (which comes with the bucket) I did find that it was less intense in flavor. However, I was told that the chicken from competitors like Popeye's is actually saltier in flavor compared to that of Jollibee. The skin was pretty crispy and even stayed crispy the next day and the meat was very juicy and succulent. The pineapple quencher drink was too sweet for me and I had to mix some seltzer with it to tone down the sugar. It essentially tasted like pineapple juice with extra added sugar, so it was not my favorite. But, I really liked the peach mango pie and I enjoyed the crispy flaky pastry crust which reminded me of a lighter empanada. The peach and mango chunks inside were warm and gooey-- I definitely would return for this and to try their ube pie as well!“
“We order delivery from here. The whole chicken with the two side orders is our usual order. The chicken is juicy and arrives temperature hot. Our two favorite sides are dolmades and Greek lemon potatoes. Delicious. Also, really good family run place. I strongly support this place.“
“20230927 - Didn't know anything about Dominican cuisine but I was certainly drawn by the aromas of the rotisserie chicken walking past the store in the morningThe chicken was adequateThe fried pork ribs a little dryThe servings were bigWhat I liked was that the lady in the store was kind enough to go to the back of the kitchen without being asked to get the chicken fresh from the oven as those on the counter had been there for a while“
“Yesterday was my first time eating there. I work across the street and went for lunch. When I left work yesterday evening I had to go back there to get more food for my daughter and for me. Delicious and pretty fair prices for the neck of the woods it’s located in. I had the chicken and waffles twice and my daughter had the chicken fingers combo with fries. The food itself was really good and then the dipping sauce made it extra delicious. I will definitely be back!!!“
“Fresh variety of American and Hallal food. Everyone who works here is super cool and will prepare your food as best to your request as possible..There are a few seats but its not really to dine in.. Definitely a great take out spot for wings, fries gyros, and more“
“Well lit, spacious, it's clean and so their bathroom (I was thinking, maybe someone just finished tidying up the place just before I came in!). What I like the most: they close super late (2am today, and is next to the Greenpoint train station ( the G train) .I am here right now trying to study(I like studying in a noisy places), but not just noisy--it has to be friendly, safe, and definitely has good ambiance. This place is, for me. ?“
“Had this yesterday. Fried chicken with the sauce and rice. The flavors are bonkers! You haven't eaten fried Chicken until you've eaten Fried Chicken with the Sauce! I can eat the sauce by itself! No, really! You got to try this place!“
“This is the spot I order from hands down. Their chicken made fresh, their onion rings are great! Their jumbo shrimp delicious, and their Philly cheese steak is enjoyable ( the bread be so soft).. I think their prices are fair and they deliver.“
“YES! Look no further, this is the only place to eat in Brooklyn. Visited on 26th July. My family flew over from Ireland and we were staying in Cypress Hills. I am so glad that we stumbled upon Super Pollo- the waitress was beautiful and kind. The owner as enthusiastic, welcoming, and grateful for our custom. The chicken is succulent and juicy. No additives, all home made, FRESH food. The avocado salad alone that comes with your meal is crisp and fresh. Homemade salsa with tortilla chips for the table.Big, generous portions, and yet you did not leave feeling that you over ate. This goes to show how healthy the food is. My husband got a cocktail as well- delicious. The next time we land in JFK airport, we will be coming here for dinner. Thank you Super Pollo - and thank you for the tequila shots!“
“I just got a chicken sandwich and mac salad from here and, when I took it out of the bag at my friend’s place, he asked me where I got it from. This is def one of the best chicken spots in the area, they’re not rude like other spots and usually have sides all day. Decent prices and good servings“
“Tbh, I think the chicken is as good as the Popeyes. The biscuit is not, but you can toast it and butter on it as an improvement. I also like the burgers. When I am in the mood for a fast food fix, this is close to home and worth the money.“
“I don’t usually write reviews, yet I appreciated this location food and customer service. I think her name is imran I don't remember but she wears glasses… she is very polite and welcomes customers with her biggest smile. I give 5 stars just because of her, she manages to coax impatient customers but the fryer should stop giving fake wait time.“
“Crown Fried Chicken serves up some really tasty chicken that's crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Their Chicken Sandwich is a big hit, packed with flavors and perfect for anyone who loves a good sandwich. Don't miss out on their mashed potatoes either—they're creamy and the perfect side to go with your chicken. The place is casual and friendly, making it a great spot to grab a quick and satisfying meal. If you're a fan of chicken, this place is definitely worth a visit.“
“Today was the 2nd time this week I bought wings from the Popeyes @ 4930 Kings Highway. They have the absolute best wing. The new Honey Lemon Pepper wings are AMAZING. The wings are Hot, Fresh and flavorful. The staff are pleasant and professional. The restaurant is clean inside and out, and the wait time is minimal. If you’re looking for really good wings, take a trip to the Popeyes @ 4930 Kings Highway off Utica Avenue. Definitely worth the trip.“
“Best Popeyes location I’ve been to by far. They ask for piece preferences, I was almost shocked and had to choke back tears of happiness thinking back to all the times I get death glared and teeth sucking when I sheepishly tried to request my leg and thigh in the past. Idk if I was biased from my fantastic experience, but the spicy tasted spicier than other places…not complaining! It was great.“
“might actually be the best Popeyes in America. I have been to many locations and this one has always been incredibly fast and friendly. I've never waited more than 5 minutes on busy weekends! People outside the Popeyes are always cool too.“
“The chicken over rice was delicious and I absolutely loved the chicken kebab and freshly made bread mmmmmm I wish I can eat this everyday lol thank you for being so kind and thank you for your service. I will be recommending all my family and friends to come here ??“
“He has been here all my life and has been a beautiful soul we are blessed to have mom and pop business like this this humble establishment is worth the money it definitely needs help with money for renovations but I believe God is great I will see the upgrades one dayBut for now this is on my list of favorites when I get fast food craving. ?Parking: Shared establishment parking“
“It's one outta 4 places to eat in this part of Canarsie. Don't really have much choices. Sandwiches from the corner store Chinese food the Jamaican spot on flatlands or this chicken spot. 4 stars for staying open wild late Delivering dumb bravely and feeding the hood ... Even though they pizza trash “
“This Chickenspot is situated and serves from behind behind bulletproof especially at night. Added to its menus of various deep-fried chicken options "not too dry or too soggy" are quite often ordered with great sides of fried shrimp, hamburgers, pizza, Jamaican beef patties with coco bread, chicken sandwiches, corn on cob, mashed potatoes, onion rings, sweet potato pie and a basic variety of flavors from Hersey icecream for dessert.“
“Crown Fried Chicken is a Pennsylvania Ave, with tourists & locals alike simply because it is really really wonderful ice cream, and friendly service. Here's a useful tip: the shortest lines are around 5-6pm - dinner time. So have dessert first!“
“The service is ehh they don't seem to really care . The inside of the store is super dingy and not too clean looking ... but I can't deny a good sandwich. It was Krispy And Krunchy as said in the name and it was superrrr packed with flavor and delicious. Whenever I'm around I'll deff be stopping by for another one. Btw they have a few little tables that you can sit at inside because even tho u can take it to go the sandwich is pretty big and messy, so just a heads up. Hope everyone doesn't get scared and actually goes and tries one because it is good !“
“The Best Breakfast and food in general in the area. They make these Omelettes and signature home fries with delicious seasoning. You can' t beat this and their prices. I come to eat here all the time. Great pizza, great breakfast and I have enjoyed everything I had from them.“
“Pecking House had some of the best fried chicken I have had in recent times. It was elevated and you could tell there is an extra level of sophistication to their chicken. Different flavors, different techniques and some Asian fusion aspects that pair so perfectly well with the classic American style fried chicken. Cornbread was excellent, dirty fried rice was also superb and the chili chicken sandwich really hit the spot. Can't wait to return to Pecking House in the future! Service was also excellent; super attentive and next level for a more casual place like this one. Don't sleep on the Peanut butter pudding!“
