Tex's Chicken & Burgers is a late-night gem known for its amazing chicken that is crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned. The chicken is widely praised as the best, with many saying it surpasses other franchises like KFC or Popeyes in flavor and quality. The fries may be average, but the chicken's quality makes up for it. The Mac and Cheese is gooey and cheesy, and the Cole slaw is a step above the rest. The staff, including the manager, are friendly, efficient, and professional, with some customers noting that the manager remembers regular customers. The place is clean, and the food is always fresh. However, there are some issues with wing orders; when ordering 6 “Fiery wings,” customers receive 6 wing pieces (half wings) instead of whole wings as advertised. Despite this, Tex's Chicken & Burgers remains a favorite spot for delicious late-night fare.
