“I had a good time coming to this place because server was nice and friendly and ordered 2 pieces of chicken, and mashed potatoes the food tasted wonderful and service was reliable. The atmosphere was quiet.

“Their food is good. I highly recommended it. The only thing I would recommend for people who is new here is never buy your fried chicken and save it for later nope nope. Because it becomes saggy it’s better to eat same time when it’s been bought that way you enjoy the food and flavors“

“So, for KFC, this was a pretty decent experience. The girl who helped me was extremely kind and patient, and maybe I was just lucky that I was helped by someone who had that particular demeanor. She made the pickup order easy even though I can sometimes be a little difficult. She had a lot of patience, and I asked her to do things that weren't out of the ordinary, but she had enough patience to deal with my shortcomings. Since it was a pickup order and I ate at home, I thought the chicken was a little bit on the dry side. I don't know how fresh it was when I picked it up at the store, but I can only imagine it wasn't that old. Otherwise, everything was decent enough, as I said for KFC, and I'll probably go back when I've decided I want some more Fried Chicken.

Parking: This is New York City and as most New Yorkers are aware there's basically only street parking in some areas which is what is available in this area next to this particular store unless there was something close by or a parking lot that I was unaware of.“

“Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!

It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.

Only negative is that there is not enough seating and it can get super busy. It is a 10/10 and would recommend.“

This place is honestly one of my go-to's whenever I'm not totally sure what I'm in the mood for but I know I want something really good, and they never, ever let me down. Their wine list is solid too. The staff are always super friendly and on top of things. Everything comes out perfectly seasoned and the portions are seriously generous.

My usual order is the chicken sandwich with a Caesar salad and fries on the side. You can't go wrong with it.“

So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. “Today, I walked down to Staples from W. 97th Street. I always walk down Broadway, so I decided to walk down Amsterdam's west side of the street instead. I passed Poulet Sans Tete on my way down to Staples. Whatever they were serving smelled delicious from the street. On my way back, I stopped in and asked the very nice waiter if I could order to go, and he said of course. I ordered the Chicken baguette au jus with provolone, broccoli rabe on a toasted garlic baguette. I had a few more errands to run so it took about fifteen minutes before I was able to sit down to eat it, but was it ever delicious! That was my first visit there, but it won't be my last. So happy they had their windows and front door open so I could get even a whiff of what was cooking inside. Rock on!“

“I’m literally writing this while I’m still sitting here because these guys deserve a shout-out. I’ve been to a bunch of Dave’s Hot Chicken spots, and this is easily the best one.

I was having a nightmare with the app, and Mohammed took the lead helping me figure the whole thing out. He was patient, never rushed me, and made sure everything was taken care of. Ahnaf was very helpful too, and both of them were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience.

The whole staff has been awesome. If you’re trying to decide which Dave’s Hot Chicken to go to, make it the 188th Street location in Queens. I’ll definitely be back.“

It took us entirely too long to realize we needed to order food at the bar but we were digging the dark and cozy ambiance while we waited. Husband is veg and I'm pescatarian and we were not disappointed. He got the veggie burger and I got the Hot Fish. A large plate of fries and two very strong cocktails and we were good to go.“
