Not only is the atmosphere perfect (lighting, candles, sexy, ENERGY, music!!) and food perfectly executed (cesar with the crispiest romaine! The green beans! The green sauce! The potatoes! The chicken!!!) but what stands out to me most is the hospitality. It's exceptional. Warm, inviting, attentive, playful. You feel taken cared of, special, safe, and like you belong – I truly cannot say that about many places in NYC where folks are jaded and, in my opinion, have lost the art of true hospitality.

This is a neighborhood spot I will return to again and again and again. HUGE shoutout to Hector and Peter for giving us two amazing experiences both times. We had a blast and that's really what it's all about. We love you guys!! Thank you for all that you do – it's really important work. xx“

So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. We went to the Chick-fil-A on Fulton Street, when you come in you are greeted in a friendly manner and your order is taken with a tablet. Immediately afterwards you go to the checkout and you get your order and pay for it straight away. .my burger with the lattice potatoes tasted good and I was also very impressed, you get endless sauces, we got 7 different sauces. There were enough seats and there was even a roof terrace.“

The sandwich itself wasn't anything new or fancy or unique it was just the perfect example of something simple done perfectly. “This place is just as advertised. Quick and simple food done very well, for a great price. I got the 1/2 chicken combo with Greek lemon potatoes. Everything was solid, the chicken was nicely cooked and juicy with a classic rotisserie flavor. The lemon flavor came though nicely on the potatoes. You also get a green sauce that comes with the meal that adds a nice acidic herbal flavor. Also, I got the grilled buffalo wings which I really enjoyed. Many places do not offer grilled, so I really appreciated this. I find especially for takeout, fried wings lose the textural component and become soggy. The grilled adds an extra depth of flavor that I personally enjoy. Overall great value.“

Also the sweet plantains seem air fried maybe ? Not oily at all?? but the Mac and cheese, the noodles are too soft. I would also recommend that some cheese be sprinkled on the Mac before being heated, add some spices too. The Yuka fries are good. But I will say that my bf said the chicken sandwich was just okay.

They are not the traditional old style and also not the super trendy type, but for a takeout for a quick bite with beer, it is perfect. Also helps that it is one of the only places in the neighborhood for Korean fried chicken. The only downside is that it is in the supermarket and therefore quite small, a bit slow, and can't serve draft beer.“
