“Visited displays a bit while ago and the review was overdue displayed as I remember had great fried chicken really really juicy fresh and I think the french fries were good as well. That’s all I recall. It was a bit late at night we start we stopped by this place and had some fried chicken, I think it’s better than KFC place was a bit dirty, but it was not because of the employees rather than the late night customers since it was a weekend those folks did not clean after themselves and just didn’t clean, but there were workers who were cleaning it afterwards, so overall, I did not expect muchin terms of cleanliness location and everything but it’s at the corner of Steinway bunch of Shisha places around eating places around but this place is definitely a must to stop by and grab a fried chicken if you are into it“

“I asked for barbecue sauce initially and got only one. When I requested more, the server responded with, "Didn’t I already give you one?" It was frustrating because if I'm asking again, I clearly want more than just one sauce. This experience with the server tarnished my usually satisfying time at Popeyes, and that's disappointing.?“

“I had a great experience at the Steinway KFC!! I want to give a credit to Reji, who is always smiling and always helpful. He defines customer service!! He goes above and beyond for his customers hoping everybody leaves with a smile. This rare in any industry and I hope he gets the proper recognition for all of his efforts. A+++“

“Love the chill atmosphere and the food. Service was great. I’m not big on spicy food so I ordered the naked fried chicken which came with a separate chilli dipping sauce, I tried the chicken with the sauce and it was actually a nice mix. It wasn’t too spicy which my stomach was able to handle. I also highly recommend the cheddar cornbread and dirty fried rice!“

“Reasonable price for quality spicy chicken.
I got the extra hot slider and it was the perfect spiciness, above all I was really impressed by the taste of the rub.
The dave's signature sauce is also great, reminds me of chic fillets sauce in the best way.“

“Awesome hole in the wall chicken spot. The cauldron chicken literally falls off the bone and is juicier / more tender than maybe any chicken I’ve ever had before. You’ll need the dipping spices though as the chicken itself is a bit light on the flavor.
Get the crispy chicken wings and scallion pancakes to balance out the tenderness of the cauldron chicken.“

“Popeyes was formed in Arabi, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana, in St. Bernard Parish. It first opened its doors on June 12, 1972, as "Chicken on the Run". Owner Al Copeland (1944–2008) wanted to compete with Kentucky Fried Chicken, but his restaurant failed after several months. Copeland reopened the restaurant four days later as Popeyes Mighty Good Chicken. By 1975, the company had been renamed as Popeyes Famous Fried Chicken. Copeland started franchising his restaurant in 1976, beginning in Louisiana. The chain expanded to Canada in 1984, and opened its 500th restaurant in 1985. B. P. Newman of Laredo, Texas, acquired several franchises in Texas and surrounding states. Two hundred additional locations were added during a period of slower expansion.By 1990, Copeland Enterprises was in default on $391 million in debts it had taken on in its 1989 purchase of Church's, a rival fast food chain also focusing in fried chicken, and by April 1991, the company filed for bankruptcy protection. In October 1992, the court approved a plan by a group of Copeland's creditors that resulted in the creation of America's Favorite Chicken Company, Inc. (AFC) to serve as the new parent company for Popeyes and Church's.[14] AFC went public in 2001 with initial public offering (IPO) of $142,818,479.[15] On December 29, 2004, AFC sold Church's to Arcapita (formerly Crescent Capital Investments) retaining Popeyes.[citation needed]On August 8, 2000, Popeyes announced a franchise development plan/agreement that included 35 new restaurant locations around Australia in a bid to solidify their presence within the Asia Pacific region. All were to be located in Sydney, the capital city of New South Wales. On June 17, 2014, Popeyes announced it had re-acquired full control of its seasonings, recipes, and other proprietary food preparation techniques from Diversified Foods & Seasonings, which remained under the control of Al Copeland and his estate after the creditor sale of Popeyes to AFC. Popeyes had continued to license the seasonings, recipes, and techniques from DF&S for a yearly 'spice royalty', before buying them outright for $43 million. DF&S remains the main supplier for Popeyes until at least 2029.“
