“Love the chill atmosphere and the food. Service was great. I’m not big on spicy food so I ordered the naked fried chicken which came with a separate chilli dipping sauce, I tried the chicken with the sauce and it was actually a nice mix. It wasn’t too spicy which my stomach was able to handle. I also highly recommend the cheddar cornbread and dirty fried rice!“

“Ok, I never write reviews, but I've had two phenomenal experiences at The Fly and needed to share!! Not only is the atmosphere perfect (lighting, candles, sexy, ENERGY, music!!) and food perfectly executed (cesar with the crispiest romaine! The green beans! The green sauce! The potatoes! The chicken!!!) but what stands out to me most is the hospitality. It's exceptional. Warm, inviting, attentive, playful. You feel taken cared of, special, safe, and like you belong – I truly cannot say that about many places in NYC where folks are jaded and, in my opinion, have lost the art of true hospitality.

This is a neighborhood spot I will return to again and again and again. HUGE shoutout to Hector and Peter for giving us two amazing experiences both times. We had a blast and that's really what it's all about. We love you guys!! Thank you for all that you do – it's really important work. xx“

“My older family members came to NY to visit from Chicago. I went to order 5 Dinner plates for the family that were visiting and 3 more, for myself, partner and my mom. When I return wit food, we all began to eat. NONE OF US WAS SATISFIED! POTATO SALAD WAS PRETTY OK. THE MAC N CHEESE, HORRIBLE! THE MACARONI SALAD, WATERY AND DISGUSTING AF, NO TUNA ADDED. COLLARD GREENS , NOT SEASONED LIKE REAL BLK SOUL TASTE.. NASTY! UNLESS PPL ARE USE TO EATING BLAND AND OR NOT REAL BLACK PPL COOKING.“

I had a great interview experience. There is a huge amount of traffic along the B6 bus line because of road closures and I was late! I was still interviewed, thank goodness❤️ I picked up a “”Pineapple Quencher”” ???to walk home so I wouldn’t have to deal with the bus. I LOVE Jollibee and I’m so happy Brooklyn has locations like New Jersey where I just moved from. I will be a loyal customer forever ??✨“

“I think I can honestly say, without hyperbole, that this was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life. The only way I can describe the chicken sandwich is it was immaculate. The sandwich itself wasn't anything new or fancy or unique it was just the perfect example of something simple done perfectly. Good chicken with Juicy and tender the breading was crispy and well seasoned and so were the fries. 10/10 would highly recommend I'd eat this everyday if I could.“

“Friendly environment and good tasting food for anyone who’s concerned about the dogs just to let you know I’ve seen them and they’re not dirty that’s there color they’re not visible from the street the dogs are well fed and cared for the dogs have very big room with beds and heat the owners are very passionate about their dogs“

“My family has been going to this spot since they opened , I missed it a lot when I moved away but when I’m back in NYC always visit . I had the beef smash burger for the first time today and it was amazing! Love their wings too, and all the different spice sauces that come with it. 10/10.“

“I found this place on google and I came because the pictures of the chicken looked so good. The chicken did not disappoint. It was super tender and all the different sauces are so good. I would order the 1/2 chicken because the 1/4 chicken is not really that big but besides that I loved the food. The french fries were really good too!“

“I recently visited Trini Jam BK Roti Bar & Grill with my family, and I truly enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was delicious. The highlight of the visit was being able to spend quality time with my family over a flavorful, well-presented meal. The curry chicken was perfectly seasoned, paired with soft potatoes, stir-fried noodles, and sweet plantains. The portions were generous, and the variety of flavors on the plate kept things interesting. I’m looking forward to returning soon to try something different from their menu!“

“When I tell you I enjoyed every bite and morsel of the chicken poppers, it’s unreal! My favorite was the soy garlic. They were very accommodating, even when I made the special request of ordering the honey-butter chicken (dry rub) with Gochujang sauce drizzled over the top. This just about tied with the soy garlic! I also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Dan and his wife Jenny. They are beautiful people, inside and out! The staff is nothing short of amazing, and the customer service is absolutely stellar. This place is a must-try if you ever find yourself in the Greenpoint area of Brooklyn! I say, just go, even if you’re not in the Greenpoint area! You won’t regret it! :)“

“This and ONLY this Crown Fried spot is the #1 store. The workers are respectful, patient, professional, and fast. When I first moved to Brooklyn, these individuals let me ask a million questions. They were never annoyed with me, and my “ let me get a ummmmm “ moments. The area respects them, the food is great. Big shoutouts to Noor, Atiq, Sabi, & Kooday for allowing my family and I, a chance to spend our money on AMAZING quality food. Those guys are funny, smart, and ( when they aren’t busy ) caring about their customers. They find the time to ask you about your day, etc. etc.“

“BK location is more pleasant than KTown Manhattan. Clean tables and fries to order. Had delicious boneless tenders in honey garlic sauce and the order came quickly and the skin was crunchy and light. I’d definitely prefer this location to Manhattan because the food is made to order vs KTown had pre-made takeaway.

Plus if you want to listen to non-stop kpop while watching Brooklyn foot traffic from the window, this spot is for you.

It also looks like you can get delivery. There was a constant string of delivery bikers in and out of the location.“

“Place was the bomb back when I went to Brooklyn Tech. Went off to college and now employed, but still return here for the quarter chicken, two ribs, side(the most okay stuff, rice n beans, mac, potatoes & salad are decent) and extra stopsauce!“

“This is the spot, easy to get to, parking in front was easy and free (though I didn’t pay but saw another car had a parking ticket so I’ll have to see if it is free for me), but the service, cleanliness and quality of food are all 5 star exceptional. It is a family environment that is open late night every night except Sunday when they close at 10:30. In addition to halal food that spams breakfast, lunch and dinner, they have a range of unique gift items, including actually fun toys for the kids! You must stop by this place and inform others as this place is an institution. You see my name on this review and you go and tell them that I sent you. I am not exaggerating when I say this is a very special place, mashallah. I literally left my car parked outside and am staying overnight to wake up tomorrow and have their breakfast. I've passed this spot a few times now and have been curious, today I stopped by on a whim to grab a slice (well I intended to grab 2) -- but after trying the buldak pizza, I had to go back to the counter and get another!!

The taste was great, and the crisp on the pies were perfect. Everyone behind the counter was so nice and friendly! I'm so glad to have this spot in the neighborhood although it may be dangerous to have something so good and so convenient -- this close by. Excited to go back and try everything else on the menu!!

UPDATE: Went back and tried the korean fried boneless chicken -- SO SO INCREDIBLE!! Also the kimbap!!“

“Best Jerk Chicken in Brooklyn“

“This place is just as advertised. Quick and simple food done very well, for a great price. I got the 1/2 chicken combo with Greek lemon potatoes. Everything was solid, the chicken was nicely cooked and juicy with a classic rotisserie flavor. The lemon flavor came though nicely on the potatoes. You also get a green sauce that comes with the meal that adds a nice acidic herbal flavor. Also, I got the grilled buffalo wings which I really enjoyed. Many places do not offer grilled, so I really appreciated this. I find especially for takeout, fried wings lose the textural component and become soggy. The grilled adds an extra depth of flavor that I personally enjoy. Overall great value.“
