“Came here for the chicken skin and the bami giew goong and both did NOT disappoint. Chicken skin was crazy crispy, comes with this sweet-tangy dipping sauce that I could've drank straight. Gone in like 2 minutes.
The egg noodle with shrimp wontons soups on side was so comforting — wontons were packed full, broth was light but flavorful, loaded with cilantro and bok choy. Def the move if you want something warm and filling.
Portions are big, food came out fast and hot. Definitely coming back to try more off the menu 🍜“

“You can read story on their wall but this is not roasted as it says since chicken skin not even crispy. It’s braised old, tough chicken (similar to Coq Au Vin) which not really my thing since kinda dry & tough.
I got noodle soup as side so it somewhat masks dryness but still not as good as juicy, tender chicken. I’m more into young, tender chicken slow roasted under low heat.
Place is tiny & more a takeout place. Prices & service good but style of cooking just not my thing.“

“This place has been on my bucket list for a long time so I was looking forward to my visit.
I got the chili chicken leg with fries combo, which was made to order. The dish was beautifully presented and the chicken was perfectly cooked. However, I thought that the seasoning was unexpectedly sweeter than I would have liked. I appreciate that gloves were offered.
Beware that if you dine in, there is only a portable AC that absolutely struggled to perform; I found the temperature inside unbearably hot. I felt bad for the staff, who were fantastic.
I'd come again to try something else, though maybe for takeout instead.“

“Good price and quality. I always order it with the sauce on the side and one time they forgot the sauce and it still tasted amazing without sauce. I often order it without sauce now lol. Other places drench everything in sauce to mask the taste of low quality meat but not here. The meat is great quality and very flavorful on its own.“

Ding ding fried noodles were quite authentic, just a bit salty. Lamb pilaf wasn’t greasy, which I liked. Lamb skewers were tender and not gamey.
Service was okay but a bit inexperienced — had to remind for water.
Overall, good food, service could be better.“

“I got chicken over rice for $12 hands down best deal I’ve had in all of NYC as a foodie. It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice was also seasoned and chickpeas and hummus were decently fresh; everything tasted good even on the next day. This fed me for easily two days! It was truly amazing that I can get chicken,rice,fries(shocking for me) and veggie of choice for only $12 was so impressive. I’m definitely going back.“

“Absolutely love this place. It’s local for me, Robert is great and welcoming, I stop in often to get chicken tenders THEYRE SOOOO GOOD. They have this peppered vinegar that pairs so well with the chicken too. I THINK they should start packing it in small condiment containers for to go orders that would really make me happy! 8.8/10“

“late review but great vibes all around! I stopped in to grab some food and watch the second-to-last Knicks game on my phone, and the atmosphere was awesome. The night crew was friendly, the food came out fresh, and everything was on point.
The manager had amazing energy and was a huge Spurs fan, even though they ended up losing that night 😂.
Food was a solid 10/10, service was great, and the team made it a fun place to be. Keep up the great work. I’ll definitely be back! 🙌🔥🍗“

“I originally was going to order take out, but there was a seat available, so I decided to stay. The women working there brought my food to me and she also gave me a cup of water. Got the chicken sandwich. Chicken was tender and very good. Wish I'd gotten the spicier sauce; the sweetness of the plantains would have paired excellently with a stronger kick. Also got the squash soup, which was good; but was too full from the sandwich to eat very much. Sandwich is very filling, so keep that in mind when ordering.“

“My partner and I just ate here today it's reeeally heckin' good. The chicken cutlets are huge and the Original spice is just the right amount of sweet, and even the standard fries have delicious seasoning. The sweet potato fries are divine. Their boba is also top tier, with my favorite consistency of boba pearls (super soft). The s'mores mochi donut was really good, too!“

“Food is always good. I have no complaints about that and the atmosphere is always good vibrations. Anytime I walk through the door. The cashier aren’t really friendly. “I had the roasted chicken over ginger rice, and it was SO good! 🍗🍚 The soup had such a unique flavor—you could taste the ginger mixed with that comforting chicken soup flavor. Definitely different, but really good!
The server also gave me two free sides: crispy chicken and some boiled chicken. The roasted chicken was about an 8/10, but that crispy chicken was a 10/10! 🔥 So delicious!
The whole meal came out to only $16 on a Sunday, which honestly isn’t bad at all. And I didn’t even finish everything because I’m already kind of full 😂. Definitely a good, filling meal for the price!“

Highly recommend to ask for all the greens
(lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion) inside as well as any sauces you may like. ASK FOR MAYO they don’t give it out unless you ask.
I saw a review saying they didn’t have cheese in their sandwich. So I did just want to say
THE ONLY BURGER THAT COMES WITH CHEESE IS A CHEESEBURGER!
Any other sandwich you would need to add it on.
A chicken sandwich normally comes in a pita bread UNLESS STATED THAT YOU WANT IT IN A BUN!

“Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!
It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.
Only negative is that there is not enough seating and it can get super busy. It is a 10/10 and would recommend.“
