“Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!

It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.

Only negative is that there is not enough seating and it can get super busy. It is a 10/10 and would recommend.“

“Came here for the chicken skin and the bami giew goong and both did NOT disappoint. Chicken skin was crazy crispy, comes with this sweet-tangy dipping sauce that I could've drank straight. Gone in like 2 minutes.

The egg noodle with shrimp wontons soups on side was so comforting — wontons were packed full, broth was light but flavorful, loaded with cilantro and bok choy. Def the move if you want something warm and filling.

Portions are big, food came out fast and hot. Definitely coming back to try more off the menu 🍜“

Loved the crispy fried chicken wings, the pan fried pork dumplings, chicken fried rice and scallion pancakes. Prices are reasonable and the staff was very friendly. Pleasant experience!“

“This place has been on my bucket list for a long time so I was looking forward to my visit.

I got the chili chicken leg with fries combo, which was made to order. The dish was beautifully presented and the chicken was perfectly cooked. However, I thought that the seasoning was unexpectedly sweeter than I would have liked. I appreciate that gloves were offered.

Beware that if you dine in, there is only a portable AC that absolutely struggled to perform; I found the temperature inside unbearably hot. I felt bad for the staff, who were fantastic.

I'd come again to try something else, though maybe for takeout instead.“

Other places drench everything in sauce to mask the taste of low quality meat but not here. The meat is great quality and very flavorful on its own.“

“Today, I walked down to Staples from W. 97th Street. I always walk down Broadway, so I decided to walk down Amsterdam's west side of the street instead. I passed Poulet Sans Tete on my way down to Staples. Whatever they were serving smelled delicious from the street. On my way back, I stopped in and asked the very nice waiter if I could order to go, and he said of course. I ordered the Chicken baguette au jus with provolone, broccoli rabe on a toasted garlic baguette. I had a few more errands to run so it took about fifteen minutes before I was able to sit down to eat it, but was it ever delicious! That was my first visit there, but it won't be my last. So happy they had their windows and front door open so I could get even a whiff of what was cooking inside. Rock on!“

It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice was also seasoned and chickpeas and hummus were decently fresh; everything tasted good even on the next day. This fed me for easily two days! “Plenty seating and the small tables are close to another. You can order via the counter or kiosk on the side. Ordered the Hainanese Chicken and Nom Yen. Boneless chicken thigh was juicy paired with the sauce which was a tad sour(in a good way) to compliment each other, while the rice absorbs the juices. As for the Nom Yen, personally not for me but it tastes like Strawberry Pocky with 2x more sweetness if you have a sweet tooth. If the seating does not fit to your liking there is a park nearby with benches.“

“A standout meal at Rabbit’s Kitchen & Waffle in Harlem. The Old-School Chicken Sandwich was exceptional—the chicken was beautifully seasoned, flavorful, and cooked fresh right in front of me. The whole-wheat bread paired perfectly with it.

The sweet potato salad and collard greens with smoked turkey neck were equally flavorful and tasted genuinely homemade. What really impressed me was Chef Devin’s attention to freshness
he literally picked fresh basil from the plant to finish the dish. That small detail says a lot about the care that goes into the food.

Fresh ingredients, great seasoning, and food made with genuine passion. A real gem in Harlem.

“I had the roasted chicken over ginger rice, and it was SO good! 🍗🍚 The soup had such a unique flavor—you could taste the ginger mixed with that comforting chicken soup flavor. Definitely different, but really good!

The server also gave me two free sides: crispy chicken and some boiled chicken. The roasted chicken was about an 8/10, but that crispy chicken was a 10/10! 🔥 So delicious!

The whole meal came out to only $16 on a Sunday, which honestly isn’t bad at all. And I didn’t even finish everything because I’m already kind of full 😂. Definitely a good, filling meal for the price!“

I called thirty minutes beforehand asking if we could make a reservation for a group of about 13 people. They did so happily and served us really good food! While the chicken maybe tastes a little different than what I’ve eaten in Mozambique, the sauces are spot on! Either way, it’s still some really good stuff and way better and fresher than Nando’s. I would love to stop by again the next time I’m in New York.“
