“If you like Spanish Portuguese food, this will satisfy whatever you feel like steaks to chops to fish to Mariscos 🦀. I took an order of garlic pork chops which were delicious and a great value to go for dinner later! The waiter I don't know if I'm spelling it right, Solo was terrific and attentive and he had a full bar to deal with too! I will probably go there today again!

Food: fresh, nicely battered chicken it didn’t seem that the oil was sitting there all day- super fresh not too salty or heavy meal. I also ordered no salt on fries -that was accommodated for. Best fried kitchen that I’ve tried in the Ny/NJ area and I like the Korean twist with the sauces you can ask them to put on side. This is the type of business that local community should support given the way they are not trying to overdo it n keep it tasty at same time.

“So I’ve always heard about Dave’s but never been till today, first off the service I received was beyond exceptional Dylan M took my order not only did he service with a smile he took time to figure out what I like and suggested what I should get and he was right it did not disappoint I also received my order from Angel H who also provided me and my friend service with a smile he told us how to mix are sauce for the best flavor. I truly appreciate top notch service with a smile it’s very rare now a days, the service alone will have me coming back again!!!!!“

When Mcdonalds and Wendy's are the fast food options you DONT want, this is the place to go. Coming here to get some great tasting fried chicken, a really good cheeseburger or a plethora of other items in the menu, they dont disappoint. They are open late and I've been going here for more than 5 years multiple times a month. In my opinion, going here is better than eating food from mcdonlds or wendys. I got potato salad. That was delicious a soup with pork in it and vegetables, rice and beans and a vegetable dish with okra and plantains. The dark meat was succulent and tender, the breading was perfect, not hard or wasn't heavy, and the flavor with or without gravy was sooo tasty! Hubby was looking for something to eat and found Dominican Pica Pollo. Fried chicken with Dominican seasoning, it's so good.

I got the sandwich and hubby got chicken pieces. Have to say I prefer the chicken pieces. The chicken in the sandwich was a little overcooked so it was very dry, even though it is wonderfully seasoned.

Will go back for the chicken pieces yum.“

“Honestly, it makes me so happy that a place like this still exists in downtown Montclair. I picked up two pizzas today - a pepperoni and a cheese for $25. The woman there was incredibly sweet and gave me a free container of cut watermelon as well. I really like their pizza and have always sung their praises - it’s slightly spicy. Traditional? “This is my go to Chinese restaurant. As a vegan I don’t trust many Chinese restaurants will make the food vegan. They often include fish sauce, shrimp paste or some other unwanted seasoning, and with the language barrier it can be difficult to know for sure. This place does it right with good fresh food and lots of vegan choices including tofu dishes and many faux meat options. My favorite is Kung Po Tofu. Sooo good. Prices are very reasonable as well! Try this restaurant out. You won’t be disappointed.

Vegetarian options: Check out their menu under Vegetables you’ll find the tofu dishes (my go to section) and under veggie meals you’ll see all the faux meat classics like sesame “chicken” or “beef” with broccoli… fresh and well prepared.

Dietary restrictions: This is a great place for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters too. Lots of faux meat options prepared with vegan ingredients. All food is fresh, prepared quickly and delivered without a delay in my experience.“

“We held our son’s 5th birthday party here, not only did we have a great time but I was SO impressed! Margaret was amazing to work with, she helped us book the party and order platters. We had two attendants dedicated to our party. They were absolutely incredible. I had nothing to worry about—they literally handled every single detail from the cow’s appearance to the bubble machine, the chalk board to food being set up and served to DECORATIONS and goody bags.

I admit that I forgot about the goody bags but they gave each child a small cow, coloring book and crayons, chocolate chip cookie and gift card for a free treat. They also have gift cards to all of the adults too. We are so grateful that they took such wonderful care of us.
