“My sister and her boyfriend introduce me to this fast food restaurant and I have to say I love it ! Though they don’t have many options other than burgers or tenders I think you get what the name of the restaurant provides lol. They do have some sides such as Mac and cheese, coleslaw, seasoned fries/cheese fries, pickles and milkshakes. I tried the Mac and cheese and honestly it lacked that cheesiness you look forward to when eating mac & cheese but aside from that the food is delicious. I usually get the medium level of spice and the one slider (comes with pickles, coleslaw, and signature sauce however you can ask to subtract or put things on the side) seasoned fries and drink meal which is always perfect as the chicken is pretty big. In my opinion medium it’s not very hot so if you have a good tolerance to spicy food I would try maybe a level above that which is “hot”. I’m super excited that they are opening one in my town because I will definitely be coming back ! Definitely recommend.“
“The chicken is hit or miss, which for a rotisserie takeout place is not really acceptable. The sides are always really good, but the real gem here is the gyro and seasoned fries. The service is awful though. Guy at the counter had no greeting, just played on his phone. Didn't use gloves when he handled my food (people use their phones while on the toilette so would been nice to use gloves or wash hands). He didn't say thank you, just handed it to me in cold silence. My advice would be to hire someone who can at least pretend that they want to be there and act like they appreciate your business. With so many great take out places around, this one is unfortunately an easy pass for now on.*** UPDATE *** Excellent management. Clearly strives to fix flaws and makes things right. “Great pick up quick service place. Food was hot and fresh. The bacon cheese fries with jalapeno cheese sauce were to die for. Not too spicy but just right and a ton of large bacon bits. Chicken was hot and perfect. Not over breaded and each piece was thick white breast meat. Worth the price.fries were thick and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. (Also im hung over and this burger really hit the spot lol). My partner order an lone star burger which he was raving about . “My mother and I visit Max's Restaurant every now and then when she wants to eat Kare Kare. It's not usually busy when we visit, and we normally know what we'll order by the time we sit down, usually Kare Kare, sinigang na baboy, rice, and maybe an additional dish for variety. It's never too loud when we dine in but there's occasionally a large party dining while we're here. I think Max's is a spot that we'll always continue to visit. The reason for my four stars as opposed to five is because I finished my cup of water a while ago and they haven't refilled it yet. I think that attention to detail is small but important.“

“The closest thing to Nashville Hot Chicken that I’ve had outside of Nashville. I ordered 3 “hot” tenders and mac & cheese. I could only finish 2 tenders — they’re huge! I was pleasantly surprised with the mac & cheese as a lot of places make it pretty bland, but this one was decent. For me, the “hot” was pretty spicy and any spicier would be too much for me. I will say that the breading on the tenders is a *tad* thick. I think if they coat the chicken a bit thinner, it would be better. Still enjoyed it though and will be back for sure.“
“This is my go to (and my son’s) all the time. My absolute favorite are the shrimp buns. My son gets the shrimp buns and the beef bulgogi is his main course. I sometime splurge and get the 3+2 garlic and soy sauce flavored wings and drumsticks. What I love is both freshness, taste and consistency. It’s a husband and wife small business so also love being able to help our local economy. It sure helps they’re so pleasant.
