“We recently visited Oh Calamares in Kearny, NJ, and the food is still absolutely excellent. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and authentic.

We had the lomo saltado, which was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the shrimp chupe, which was rich, comforting, and full of amazing seafood flavor. Both dishes were outstanding.

That said, we couldn’t help but notice that the restaurant seemed a bit less busy than before. Also, they only had one server working, which could definitely slow down the ordering process and even delay getting the check at the end.

Even with that, the experience was still very positive, and the quality of the food remains top-notch. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and would absolutely recommend it.“

“A wonderful Yemeni restaurant .. great people… great food… and the big circle bread: the rashoosh. They have the fahsa, they have the kibdeh, and of course they have the haneeth but they also have Yemeni favs that are not usually found at other restaurants: shafoot, Sana’a kebab, and roti bread! But my fav.. that rice. Hands down the best rice I’ve had in a long time! A def must try!“

As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. “I had a great experience at Xiyuehui Hot Pot. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and there was a huge variety of ingredients to choose from, including premium meats, vegetables, and appetizers. Everything was replenished quickly, and the quality was consistently excellent.

The service was attentive and efficient, with staff regularly checking in, refilling the broth, and clearing plates. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had a lively atmosphere, making it a great place for family dinners or gatherings with friends.

Considering the quality and selection, I thought it was well worth the price. If you enjoy seafood and all-you-can-eat hot pot, Xiyuehui is definitely worth a visit. I would happily come back again.“

“Seafood pimps was the best decision I could had made to celebrate my 56th birthday. I decided to purchase the Nexf ix & Chill. First the presentation was SUPERB. The crabs, mussels and shrimp were FRESH and DELECTABLE. The vegetables were seasoned to perfection. least of them all the amount that you receive is enough to feed a full size family, and we only ordered for two. I will definitely be back. “My girlfriend and I stopped by Fire Kabob and WOW! This place is great! Clean dining area and SUPER friendly staff. We ordered 2 plates, chicken and Lamb and then a side of eggplant burani. The food is fresh and delicious! The rice and homemade sauces are excellent. It also came with a side of bread and salad. Can't wait to try out all their other items, we will definitely be back. I would post pics but we scarfed down every bit of it. It's a must try! Chicken and Lamb - Tender and cooked perfect. Eggplant Burani - a must try, unlike anything I have ever tried. Rice - seasoned perfect and you get a lot of it. Def try the sauces that come with it.“
