Perla Seafood & Raw Bar Reviews
We love Perla Oyster Bar! Have been there 6 times this summer. We've gone as an entire family of 7 and as just the 2 of us and have thoroughly enjoyed our meals there every time. Service is great, all the wait staff have been friendly and professional and fun. We are grateful for this addition to our neighborhood, Maplewood NJ as Perla has become one of our 'go to' spots when we go out for a great meal and a good time.
Wow. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Not sure how maplewood was able to produce 2 great restaurants 100 yards from each other but Perla is next level.
Only minor downside is parkings tough but 10/10 would always recommend

Perla Seafood & Raw Bar is a charming neighborhood spot in Maplewood, NJ. Many describe it as a gem and one of the best meals they have ever had. The service is great, with wait staff who are friendly, professional, and fun. The restaurant has a casual Parisian vibe, great music, and a cozy atmosphere for a nice dinner escape.
The food is awesome, with very high quality ingredients and a focus on seasonal produce. Guests enjoyed the dressed oysters on special, grouper crudo, langoustines, broiled scallop, oysters, canned muscles, tomato salad, chili clams, deviled eggs, cockles with potatoes, chorizo and goat cheese, rock shrimp tostada, branzino fish with a side of potatoes, and a delicious, plump lobster roll. The oyster selection is perfectly curated. It is also byob, and the wine list is curated by a local wine store. Parking is tough, but it is a must stop and always recommended.
