We love Perla Oyster Bar! Have been there 6 times this summer. We've gone as an entire family of 7 and as just the 2 of us and have thoroughly enjoyed our meals there every time. Service is great, all the wait staff have been friendly and professional and fun. We are grateful for this addition to our neighborhood, Maplewood NJ as Perla has become one of our 'go to' spots when we go out for a great meal and a good time.
Wow. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Not sure how maplewood was able to produce 2 great restaurants 100 yards from each other but Perla is next level.

I’ve seen Perla come up on IG so my husband and I finally made our way over there. What an absolute delight! Neither of us liked oysters but we do now! We got the dressed oysters on special, the grouper crudo, the langoustines, the broiled scallop and then closed with 4 more oysters and some canned muscles. It’s also byob and there is a liquor store they can order bottles for you from but the selections were pretty slim so I suggest bringing your own wine. I can’t wait...
