“Mama Rao’s kitchen has been catering all of our main home events last few years and we get nothing but raves from all of our family and friends over the food. The woman there was incredibly sweet and gave me a free container of cut watermelon as well. I really like their pizza and have always sung their praises - it’s slightly spicy. Traditional? “This is not a diner in restaurant by far. Its very close to a college campus, but I think thats what adds to the greatness. When Mcdonalds and Wendy's are the fast food options you DONT want, this is the place to go. Coming here to get some great tasting fried chicken, a really good cheeseburger or a plethora of other items in the menu, they dont disappoint. They are open late and I've been going here for more than 5 years multiple times a month. In my opinion, going here is better than eating food from mcdonlds or wendys. A few years ago, the restaurant caught fire and I was sad to day the least. But they came back and its like it never changed. Highly recommended.“

“If you like Spanish Portuguese food, this will satisfy whatever you feel like steaks to chops to fish to Mariscos 🦀. I took an order of garlic pork chops which were delicious and a great value to go for dinner later! The waiter I don't know if I'm spelling it right, Solo was terrific and attentive and he had a full bar to deal with too! I will probably go there today again!

“Great hot wings, that's pretty much the only thing I ever get here, but I have had other things, and it was pretty good. All the employees are really friendly and extremely patient. Just to be perfectly honest, this place is located in a rather tough area, so keep that in mind when going here. Also there's no seating, it's strictly take out, the prices are very fair, and it offers a decent amount of other products similar to a small bodega. All in all, the wings keep me going back almost weekly for a number of years now and I've never had any problems with other customers. Enjoy!“

My mom and friends like the chicken meals; I enjoy tostones, salad, rice, yucca, beans (frijoles), green sauce, puffed cheese pastries, and more. Since the 2020’s began, however, there is only the Take-out option; no dine-in.
