“First time having Hangry Joe's. Will definitely return! I'm a fan of Nashville Hot Chicken. Always a little skeptical of anyone claiming they make hot chicken when not in the Nashville region. Wow! I was very impressed! It's not Nashville, but not trying to be. It's more of a fusion. But don't hesitate, it's good! I got the sando at hot level. Had a nice burn and the slaw is a perfect compliment. The fry crisp was excellent. The chicken is flattened so it overflows the sandwich- you can get some bites of just this perfect hot chicken and then dig into a sandwich. At the time of our visit they had run short of bubble milk teas, but I'm sure they go well with the meal and I'll absolutely try it on the next visit.“

“Tired and weary from a 4 hr flight, we got into Newark at 12am. We asked the, at first, grumpy car rental lady if she wanted to go eat with us at White Castle. “OMG, they’re traaaash now,” she said to our horror. She recommended this place and bless her, with her now cheerful disposition (I assume it was because I offered to beat anyone who was rude to her).Being from Arizona, we were not prepared for the treacherous journey to satiate our hunger. But we did conquer the wild roads at now 1am.We were greeted by a cheerful cashier who took our order, thinking nothing of our disheveled looks. We peered around and it had come up that we were from out of state, tired, hungry and terrified of the parking situation we had just faced.We didn’t order the chicken, but had we known it was the best dish on their menu, we would have! He brought us out complementary chicken with some biscuits. My partner and I ravaged the piping hot food and it wasn’t the best fried chicken we had had because we were hungry, but because it was moist, crunchy and flavorful.Thank you! “This is my go to (and my son’s) all the time. My absolute favorite are the shrimp buns. My son gets the shrimp buns and the beef bulgogi is his main course. I sometime splurge and get the 3+2 garlic and soy sauce flavored wings and drumsticks. What I love is both freshness, taste and consistency. It’s a husband and wife small business so also love being able to help our local economy. It sure helps they’re so pleasant. I tried the tilapia before and it was also good because they ran out of whiting but prices are quite high just for 2 prices of fish. My family often gets the chicken and seems to like it.“

I hade a chicken gyro over rice (good) lemon pepper wings (ok, for some reason they taste like they were seasoned with a Raman noodle seasoning packet) and a sweet potato pie (great).
