“Picked up a Slider, Strip Combo and came with a free drink which is not something I’ve see where so definitely a plus.
Nice ambiance with high ceilings and lights. Very rustic and casual. The hot sauce is really hot so be careful. Should have gone with mild or medium. Mind you i do like hot sauce so when i say hot is hot its really is.. But the sauce had a kick to it.
Would definitely go back. The fries were really good.“

“While I didn't expect anyone to order on mother's day I was one, surprised they're open, two, it was a big place. And three absolute excellent people. I swear I don't know what it is with people saying the food ducks, i love this plus the biscuits are buttery unlike the Harrison branch. This whole spread for the 14 pc chicken with mash potatoes and Cajun solos KFC. I will definitely be coming back for more, just hope that old Chinese restaurant equipment is gone because it ruins the entrance windows. Other than that, excellent place and more should give it a chance.“

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“Pretty solid spot overall. I came in expecting just standard fast food, but the fried chicken actually surprised me — crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and well seasoned. The peach mango pie was easily the highlight for me, definitely worth getting.

Service was quick and the staff were friendly, even though the place was pretty busy. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because a couple of items felt a bit too sweet for my taste and the wait time during peak hours can get a little long.

Still, I’d definitely come back when I’m in the area. Great comfort food and a nice change from the usual fast food options.“

I like that you can change the heat level for pretty much every item that you order. Don’t be fooled medium was pretty darn spicy. I love spice, but I now stick to the mild, which is really not spicy at all. But medium is just a little too much.
Overall, I love that you can order online. Every time I pick up my order is always ready and never wrong. The staff they have here seems to be pretty nice too.“

“From the start from when we first walked in, the place smelled heavenly of fried chicken. The restaurant was clean and had no odor except the delicious smell of fried chicken. We were there at 5:30. The service was friendly and my husband and I were even told about the plastic glove that the napkins and fork were wrapped in when the guy behind the counter handed us our food. Hubby was looking for something to eat and found Dominican Pica Pollo. Fried chicken with Dominican seasoning, it's so good.

I got the sandwich and hubby got chicken pieces. Have to say I prefer the chicken pieces. The chicken in the sandwich was a little overcooked so it was very dry, even though it is wonderfully seasoned.

Will go back for the chicken pieces yum.“

“I ordered Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kabab through Uber Eats. After I ordered , I realized that I forgot to order Nan. So I called the restaurant and ask them that what can I do now. The person(probably the owner) replied , I will add Nan and whenever you visit, give me 2 Dollars. That was really a nice gesture which I will remember and must appreciate(along with the debt on me).
Talking about food, I had eaten many Biryanis in USA but it is one of the best real Pakistani biryani. Kababs were also fresh and tasty. I highly recommend those who want to have Halal and real Pakistani taste, must visit.“

“Uber Eats order withe special instructions followed them to the dot and T wings are really good and REAL what I mean by that is not those over large uncooked wings I mean regular sized crunchy flavorful wings with no hairs which also means they clean it well adding hot sauce just elevates the flavor I took a chance you should too“

“I mean, it’s Popeyes! Sweet people working a tough job without much support. The space is big but most people seem to get takeout. I really only get the chicken tenders- sometimes the combo and sometimes just tenders but I have had the fried chicken sandwich and it’s been fab.“

“I stopped here after I finished getting my nails done next door. I used their ATM and came back. I grabbed lamb over rice with salad. The lamb was delicious the rice was ok expected more flavor. People weren’t watching their kids and they were eating off other peoples plates. I don’t mind sharing with kids but please don’t allow them to stick their hands in random strangers plates. I would definitely return for take out not to dine in.“

Just to be perfectly honest, this place is located in a rather tough area, so keep that in mind when going here. Also there's no seating, it's strictly take out, the prices are very fair, and it offers a decent amount of other products similar to a small bodega. “Been going to Happy Paisa Chicken for decades. Though I’m a pescatarian, I’ve always been satisfied with delicious food. My mom and friends like the chicken meals; I enjoy tostones, salad, rice, yucca, beans (frijoles), green sauce, puffed cheese pastries, and more. Since the 2020’s began, however, there is only the Take-out option; no dine-in.
A word of caution: be careful to park legally on the street; I’ve gotten a couple of parking tickets there over the years.“
