“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“From the start from when we first walked in, the place smelled heavenly of fried chicken. The restaurant was clean and had no odor except the delicious smell of fried chicken. We were there at 5:30. The service was friendly and my husband and I were even told about the plastic glove that the napkins and fork were wrapped in when the guy behind the counter handed us our food. That glove came in handy when we ate our wings. We ordered sweet & spicy and BBQ. The coating was crispy and delish. Just how I like my wings. Not over sauced and hot! Definitely going back!!“

“I ordered Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kabab through Uber Eats. After I ordered , I realized that I forgot to order Nan. So I called the restaurant and ask them that what can I do now. The person(probably the owner) replied , I will add Nan and whenever you visit, give me 2 Dollars. That was really a nice gesture which I will remember and must appreciate(along with the debt on me).
Talking about food, I had eaten many Biryanis in USA but it is one of the best real Pakistani biryani. Kababs were also fresh and tasty. I highly recommend those who want to have Halal and real Pakistani taste, must visit.“

Hubby was looking for something to eat and found Dominican Pica Pollo. Fried chicken with Dominican seasoning, it's so good.

I got the sandwich and hubby got chicken pieces. Have to say I prefer the chicken pieces. The chicken in the sandwich was a little overcooked so it was very dry, even though it is wonderfully seasoned.

Will go back for the chicken pieces yum.“

“I mean, it’s Popeyes! Sweet people working a tough job without much support. The space is big but most people seem to get takeout. I really only get the chicken tenders- sometimes the combo and sometimes just tenders but I have had the fried chicken sandwich and it’s been fab.“

“This place has been around for decades, and their fried chicken is by far the best I’ve had throughout Passaic county. It has a nice spice to it that separates it from others. Their beef patties are also delicious… and you cannot forget to order a burger!

The only concern is the location. They’re located in a dangerous part of Paterson; fortunately, nothing has happened whenever I visited, but always be on alert.“

Just to be perfectly honest, this place is located in a rather tough area, so keep that in mind when going here. “I stopped here after I finished getting my nails done next door. I used their ATM and came back. I grabbed lamb over rice with salad. The lamb was delicious the rice was ok expected more flavor. People weren’t watching their kids and they were eating off other peoples plates. I don’t mind sharing with kids but please don’t allow them to stick their hands in random strangers plates. I would definitely return for take out not to dine in.“

The owner at the Crown on Communipaw in Jersey City says only the fried chicken is Halal. I saw him bringing in Purdue chicken burgers. He said unless there is a Halal sign displayed the food may not be Halal...“

“This is not a diner in restaurant by far. Its very close to a college campus, but I think thats what adds to the greatness. When Mcdonalds and Wendy's are the fast food options you DONT want, this is the place to go. Coming here to get some great tasting fried chicken, a really good cheeseburger or a plethora of other items in the menu, they dont disappoint. They are open late and I've been going here for more than 5 years multiple times a month. In my opinion, going here is better than eating food from mcdonlds or wendys. “Been going to Happy Paisa Chicken for decades. Though I’m a pescatarian, I’ve always been satisfied with delicious food. My mom and friends like the chicken meals; I enjoy tostones, salad, rice, yucca, beans (frijoles), green sauce, puffed cheese pastries, and more. Since the 2020’s began, however, there is only the Take-out option; no dine-in.

“Pretty Good, located right off a main highway. I stop by anytime I’m in NJ, close to the Hotel in Newark. First time, I stopped in the Owner was there and had GREAT conversation, service and customer service and gave me a military discount. The second time I stopped in, owner was not there and the service wasn’t as pleasant. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the same. The Caucasian clerk told me I couldn’t get a military discount because he’s not the owner. Then proceeded to talk about Burger King and other fast food chains not giving discounts. The food didn’t taste as good the second time probably because the experience was icky.“
