“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“This restaurant is over all excellent. While still above some nearby chains, it excels in delicious thick breading, and chicken. My food was ready quickly and kosher. The cook made sure to call my name, almost correctly, and the box was also a bit greasy. I would recommend this restaurant with appropriate silverware, and maybe some more sauces on the menu.“

“Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!

It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.

Only negative is that there is not enough seating and it can get super busy. It is a 10/10 and would recommend.“

“The spicy chicken biscuit omg toooooo die for so my husband and I saw many people entering this spot plus it was our first time. We heard mac and cheese, greens, and fried chicken. So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. Nice little spot and such friendly people. Heading back very soon“

“Cute little place for a quick dinner! The chicken is incredibly tender, juicy, flavorful and fell right off the bone. Loved the crispy fried chicken wings, the pan fried pork dumplings, chicken fried rice and scallion pancakes. Prices are reasonable and the staff was very friendly. Pleasant experience!“

“Been going there for the past 30 years“

“Today, I walked down to Staples from W. 97th Street. I always walk down Broadway, so I decided to walk down Amsterdam's west side of the street instead. I passed Poulet Sans Tete on my way down to Staples. Whatever they were serving smelled delicious from the street. On my way back, I stopped in and asked the very nice waiter if I could order to go, and he said of course. I ordered the Chicken baguette au jus with provolone, broccoli rabe on a toasted garlic baguette. I had a few more errands to run so it took about fifteen minutes before I was able to sit down to eat it, but was it ever delicious! That was my first visit there, but it won't be my last. So happy they had their windows and front door open so I could get even a whiff of what was cooking inside. Rock on!“

“Guy that welcomed us in and took our order was really nice and friendly but the girls giving us our food seemed a bit moody and not really bothered. Food was nice enough for what it is, spicy burger had a decent taste to it. Single toilets seemed odd and meant we had a long queue to wait.“

“My husband and I went to Forefeathers tonight for dinner, it was excellent. The chicken tenders were delicious, the pink dipping sauce was very good. “I've actually never had Jollibee, I'm so serious. i kinda have an aversion to super fried foods, so i won't eat it unless someone else wants to. everyone says very good things tho! we got two sandwiches, fries, mashed potatoes, and a mango peach pie. lowkey one thing i know for sure about Filipinos is that they do not mess around when it comes to peach flavored stuff. so i did get that peach slush too. the seating is pretty limited, so good luck with that, but the food was pretty good! very well fried chicken, good flavor, not soggy at any parts, idk what else makes a good sandwich tbh. but like an extra dollar for lettuce makes me sad tbh. whatever. the fries are lowkey unique, maybe bc i haven't had in a while? but they were thin and yummy idk, the mashed potatoes are normal, very very salty gravy, idk about it. i loved the pie tho, it was very runny tho, but the flavor was well done.“
