“I ordered Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kabab through Uber Eats. After I ordered , I realized that I forgot to order Nan. So I called the restaurant and ask them that what can I do now. The person(probably the owner) replied , I will add Nan and whenever you visit, give me 2 Dollars. That was really a nice gesture which I will remember and must appreciate(along with the debt on me).
Talking about food, I had eaten many Biryanis in USA but it is one of the best real Pakistani biryani. Kababs were also fresh and tasty. I highly recommend those who want to have Halal and real Pakistani taste, must visit.“

I got the original chicken with rice platters and one chicken mix gyro wrap. Excellent and momma is really hard to please. We’re transplants from NYC and with NYC being at the top of the dining out / take home capital it is tough for many States and counties to compete with the flavor and cooking styles easily found in NYC just around every corner.

OMGRYRO easily hits all the marks with the exception of the Jerk Chicken. Jerk Chicken flavor profile is no bueno in my humble opinion and that is because it doesn’t come close to tasting like jerk seasoning and can’t compare to true jerk style flavor.

Everything else is we ordered and devoured tasted great, high on flavor with decent portion sizes.

Hope they put the Jerk Season flavor to the chicken NYC style.“

“first the place was homey and clean quiet and peaceful second when i first got the platter my first thoughts were hmm i wish they gave me more rice that being said once i ate the food i realize that this was PERFECT QUALITY EVERYTHING. the meat was not just SEASONED FOR COLOR BUT SEASON WITH FOREIGN SPICES i tasted a little bit of some type of curry i could see and taste the seasoning they put in the rice was so flavorful almost its own star what made me rlly say this quality was amazing was the fact that the cold amazing slice fresh tomato were absolutely high quality the fact that the tomatoes were that fresh and the salad was perfectly preserved the white sauce was amazing per most hala spot but there hot sauce wasn’t to spicy it was good enough for my stomach to not act up it came with pita bread which is a nice touch and was a reasonable priced my full rating would be 4.8 honestly“

“This spot was amazing for family sized trays. We got the half tray chicken and lamb combo + half tray of rice. This was the most meat ive gotten at a halal place and the half tray was more than enough for 9 people as we had leftovers. “Visited tonight for a late-night craving and had a great experience. The staff was very warm and welcoming, even at a late hour.

I ordered the Chicken Karachi Naan and Chicken Seekh Kebabs—everything was excellent. I can confidently say these are some of the best chicken seekh kebabs in the Northeast. They were served hot, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with a great blend of spices. Honestly, you could easily enjoy two or three just with raita—no naan needed.

As big foodies who’ve tried just about every spot out there, this place really stands out. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, the staff is friendly, and even the restrooms are spotless.

If there were six stars, I’d give it without hesitation.“

“We were in the area to see Cherry Blossom Festival in the local park. We originally planned to eat at our favorite restaurant Istanbul in Clifton NJ. We got hungry and looked for close by Turkish restaurants, found this place. Absolutely loved the ambiance, food and the service. We are hooked for life. Try the Calamari for appetizer, lamb shish kababs for main entry. Food was authentic and cooked to perfection. We will be back.“

“Humble seems to be the best word to summarize this restaurant. The men who run it seem to have a great rapport with their customers; they’ve been there for 20+ years and it shows. They were kind and accomodating. The food was plated carefully and was pretty taste. My only complaints were putting margarine on my pancakes without asking and the tiny plastic utensils, which left my hands covered in syrup. However both of those go to the restaurant being unpretentious. There’s no atmoshere to speak of but it was clean. I’d eat here again but probably wouldn’t go out of my way.“

A soft pita was loaded with chopped gyro and chicken with fresh veggies and topped with their white sauce. It was so good and the meats were so juicy and tender. “After a tasty round of appetizers including tangy baked Fava beans, creamy smooth hummus, baba ghanoush and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside falafel, we feasted on two lamb dishes, one of which was perfectly grilled, and an order of couscous with vegetables. I still remember today how great everything tasted. Service was friendly and efficient and the decor included lamps and accessories imported from Morocco. Y'all, we talked about the chicken and how good it is. We even stayed until a fresh batch came out. We laughed and brought up memories of the 2 staff that were still there since our younger aging, me now 50. The point is to get there and get THAT CHICKEN!!
