Our group’s ages ranged from 39-57 and not a single person was disappointed. We did the prefixed menu which was so much food. “Came here on a Saturday night for a friend's birthday dinner. We had 14 people. The food was excellent as were the drinks. Best of all was the service experience. I tried chicken, the original chicken. It's name is the original. It was really good. One portion was not enough for me. If they will have one and a half it would be great but they don't have. Starting with a dingy, dim-lit neighborhood of Journal Square, to a very spartan vibe of the restaurant, it was falling short of a proper date experience. The food was delicious, definitely one of the best comfort foods I have ever eaten. The meat was well seasoned and really tender and juicy. I really loved the lamb and it wasn't gamey at all. The mix of greens you get really freshens things up and adds a nice little crunch. The white sauce is a must. This was probably one of my favorite things I ate on my trip. You get your food really fast too. The prices were excellent and the portions were great. I ordered Chicken Korma with Basmati rice, regular Naan bread and a Mango Lassi. The chicken was very tender, the sauce was creamy, delicious and not spicy. The Naan was good. I loved the Lassi. I had leftovers. I will definitely be returning. I am Puerto Rican and grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Growing up here there were no Indian restaurants. So happy to see more Indian restaurants now.
