“While the restaurant has closed they are operating as a food truck. Please check their Instagram to see their daily location. Lately they have been in bed stuy. This review is for my visit over the summer. We went on a Sunday and received the following: seafood mac n cheese; hot honey oxtail sliders; blueberry cornbread and the Cater 2 U which has salmon, shrimp and crab cakes. No complaints on the food, the portion size or the customer service. Everyone is always nice. I've only met the male owner during my visits and he is the best! Sad to see the restaurant go but happy to see that they are still making food. Definitely check them out when you can.“

“Watch out chipotle, they coming for you. I got a burrito bow at Tacobees, the ingredients are fresh, the spicy queso slamming, the steak properly seasoned, their hot sauce is homemade, and the portion is HUGE. Extras are also not that much, more. I just wish you had more “

“Dear Future Self: The extra hot level, the one just below reaper, is as far as you should go. You’re welcome.Service here is standard NYC indifference. They’re fast though, winner. This chicken is as spicy/hot as Hatty B’s. Well seasoned. Crispier than a mug. Needs extra pickles, doughboy. The potato bun, there is no substitute. It’s better than Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich. It saddens me to say that.Cons: seating sucks. Be prepared to take with.Pro tip: don’t forget to grab extra napkins and honey. This just might be a destination.“

“The food in Amazing Chicken & Gyro is a great price and tastes great especially for the price. They are fully halal which is amazing and allows for everyone to enjoy along with the full range of a menu catering to everyone. I would recommend especially the chicken wings with mango habanero and the Gyro Salad with white sauce!Vegetarian options: They have salads and vegetarian gyro along with a few other options.“

“Love going to munchie the food is good I just I hate the front is so small and congested with people trying to order, people waiting for their food and delivery drivers pushing the way to the front to get the order or trying showed they phone pick up order. For me, sometimes they don't always get my order right, and sometimes they do, But I would not deny that the food is not good“

“I was super skeptical to try this at first because it didn’t seem authentic but after i gave it a try i had to come back 2 more times because it was GREAT. Jerk chicken over rice is on top. I’d recommend this to anyone especially if you’re tired of a basic chicken over rice platter. Make sure to get their dragon sauce.“

“A gem of a food truck serving halal classics. The flavor is fantastic, the price is right, and the people are wonderful.Vegetarian options: There is falafel, but if you’re picky about the cook surface being meat-free, then I don’t know why you’re ordering from a food truckWheelchair accessibility: It’s on the sidewalk, and the window is a little high, but not out of reach“

“This was such a pleasant experience. I was craving Mexican food, but as a Muslim, I was thoroughly surprised and pleased to see that this place was halal. The owner and his daughter were so kind and hard at work to make sure every customer was satisfied. The birria burger was amazing and left me wanting more despite being full. I will definitely be back here.“

“This place is great! I felt at home in the authentic atmosphere. The food was fantastic, but not compared to the amazing service of the staff. This is their new location and they are trying to spread the word. They have live music on Fridays and Saturdays that adds to the experience. Absolutely worth it to check out.“

“When I say you should head to this place right away, I mean it! ?♀️?♀️?? Now, let me provide an honest review. The individuals in the kitchen truly know how to season tf out those birria tacos and the consommé was incredibly flavorful. It's definitely worth a visit for those items alone. However, there are a couple of downsides that I'd like to mention. Firstly, the elote lacked depth and had an excessive amount of mayo, which affected the overall taste. Additionally, it's important to note that the consommé is not included with the birria tacos and must be purchased separately, resulting in an additional cost. This is one of the reasons why I have given this restaurant a four-star rating. Nevertheless, the service was relaxed and enjoyable.“

“There’s not a whole lot that’s wrong with Farook’s tbh. I’ll pick him over Halal Guys or Adele any day of the week, given the price and wait time. However, I’m personally a fan of Santa Halal which is the cart next to Farook’s.But, that’s a personal preference. Farook is pretty great too.“

“This is a hidden gem right under your nose in Hell’s kitchen, off 8th Ave. I have been staying there for months, and it never showed up on Google Maps- what a MISS!!We went there for a late dinner, and were delighted. The ambiance, food, service is top notch. They have a great variety of healthy options, vegan and of course traditional Turkish cuisine, everything mouthwatering and delicious and on your table within minutes. We had a spinach borek, and it tasted of my mother’s placinta, a taste of my childhood. Definitely had a Proust Madeleine moment. So count on me- I will be back?Turkish tea and baklava taste exactly like ones in Istanbul- so bottom line, if you’re not there, you’re missing out!Their prices include tip, so as far as NYC goes it’s a fair deal“

“Best food we ate in NYC, especially because we can't get it in San Francisco. The $10 price point makes it even more delicious and worth the hour wait in line. Portions are perfect for post-show munchies and you can tell the meat is so fresh. Always ask for extra white sauce!“

“Food is really good but I waited nearly 20 minutes for my food. The burgers are great. Staff is friendly. They’re not wrong when they say you should get a double. I had two singles. The regular mash is good and the spicy mash is unique. The honey definitely makes it taste different than other burgers. Will definitely be back to try other parts of the menu.Parking: Parking is not too bad. Located right at the end of a busy Main Street. Not all of the meters work though“

“Service and food was excellent! I got the combo over rice and it had a nice balance of flavors and textures. The meat had a nice spicy flavor that paired well with the creamy white sauce and rice. The vegetables had a nice crunch to them and helps balance out the soft textures of the dish. I would recommend this dish and get it again.“

“I got the Chicken and Lamb over Rice combo for $7. Yes, 7 dollars flat!!! It was absolutely delicious and a hugee portion for the price and quality. The meat was well seasoned and really tender and juicy. I really loved the lamb and it wasn't gamey at all. The mix of greens you get really freshens things up and adds a nice little crunch. The white sauce is a must. This was probably one of my favorite things I ate on my trip. You get your food really fast too. Sit down at the park nearby and enjoy your meal.Payment is pretty easy, you can Zelle directly to pay or use cash. I don't thinkkk credit was accepted (can't remember).Price, taste, portions, and service... you can't beat it!!“

“Good large portions of food, humongous mixed kabab platter and complementary rice pudding dessert. Like the new addition corner space with full height glass in contrast with the more traditional feel on the other side. Very popular for iftar during Ramadan. One annoyance is no tap water provided, have to buy bottled water.“

“We were thoroughly impressed by this location. Definitely our favorite Indian place for date night. Parking can be tough in the area but the food makes it worth it.We loved every meal starting with the Pav Baji, Vada Pao and Dahi Batata Puri, Lotus Roof Kofta. They were all a bit different but absolutely flavor bombs. If your familiar with Indian cuisine keep in kind the food can be very spicy. Even the Indian sodas were delicious. Amazing menu, can’t go wrong with any of the choices. We’re definitely coming back soon. The service was excellent as well“

“Great halal truck! Got the beef kofta which was very flavorful and delicious. My fiance got the combo which had 3 types of meats and was also very good. I appreciated that the food wasn't too greasy and the salad was super fresh! The cucumber had such a nice bite to it. There were also chickpeas in the salad! “I had a couple slices of pepperoni pizza last month here with low expectations and was impressed. Best pizza in NYC? No but up there with the best $3 slices in NYC. The bagels are handmade here and lovely as well. But on to the star of the show: the Indian food is great. Chicken Chaat was really spicy in a nice way, a medley of great flavor with some heat. Samosas were fresh and crunchy on the outside. Lamb biryani was delightful, not too herbaceous but well balanced and nice meat chunks.I'll be back soon to try the Indian fusion pizza! Can't wait.Update: the Indian pizza is the best. Why is this not a thing yet? It will be soon. The crust could be better but the flavors on all their pizzas are phenomenal. The chefs here are creative and care about the quality they put out.I just tried their bagels again and maybe I got a fresh batch but they are so much better than I remember. Soft and chewy with perfect flavor. Not very dense but I think that's a plus. Omar's is one of my favorite places in Brooklyn. They deliver quickly and everything is great. We've ordered a dozen times from Omar's and have never been disappointed. My favorite dish is probably lamb korma. I hope they will offer a lamb korma pizza one day. I luv Omar's!“
