“Great food! I had the double cheeseburger which was a bit lacking in terms of flavor but I’ve heard their kebabs are much better. I’ll go back some other time to try the kebabs because the restaurant was great overall. Good service, really great prices. The only issue was the atmosphere but can’t complain for the price. Very competitive and a great option.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! Highly recommended!“

“Sat at the bar. Very fair happy hour prices. Dinner was wonderful. The trout with Marcona almonds was the stand out. Desserts were incredible. Our bartender, Alejandro, was so knowledgeable and fun. Went upstairs to the roof top bar after for a nightcap which was equally delightful.“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

Don’t get me started on the zesty freshness of this injira. “Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“Very impressed since they was decorating the place. I was passing by every day till they finally open and I desire to try the food, I was curious and also I’m not a vegan person. When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. So thankful to have them at the neighborhood, the service is excellent and Yesenia and her employees super professionals. The ambiance and decoration soo relaxing- I love the food and the service, how they welcome you, is hard to find a place like that. Highly recommended to everyone- vegan or not vegan- 🥗 the talent is there and I wish them success- nice location, sparkling clean - if you are looking for good food - this is your spot-“

“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! “Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

“I’ve been here many times and always have a great time. It has such a brilliant vibe and atmosphere, and the location is fantastic. Even walking up through the store is part of the experience, with all the amazing furniture to look at, and there are plenty of great places nearby too.
A couple of tips to keep in mind: come with a relaxed attitude because this is a very busy location, and your whole group needs to be there before they’ll seat you. That said, when we had to wait around 15 minutes, they were lovely and brought us complimentary drinks.
The food and presentation are consistently amazing, and the service is well timed without anyone hovering over you. I also love the atmosphere of people actually talking and enjoying themselves. It always feels lively without feeling forced.
One final tip: don’t bring your car unless you really have to. Street parking around the area is generally limited to two hours, so it’s not worth the risk of getting a ticket. You’re much better off using one of the nearby parking garages.“

“This was my second time at Blue Hill, although my last visit was several years ago before they moved to the Family Meal concept. And I really like it. Each course comes with an assortment of dishes that you can mix and match at your own pace, which makes the whole meal feel relaxed and fun.
I sat at the bar, and both the atmosphere and service were excellent as always. Every course was fantastic, and this is such a great time of year to visit when there are so many amazing vegetables in season. One course highlighted several different peppers, including a specially developed habanero that had all of the sweetness and none of the heat. Really cool! The dessert was really interesting as well as it incorporated Sungold tomatoes. I don’t think I’ve ever had tomatoes in a dessert before, but it was inspired and worked beautifully. A fantastic dinner. I’ll definitely be returning.“

“I chose Ramini based purely on reviews as this isn’t my general area of the city and it far exceeded expectations. The cappuccino was so good I’m already dreaming of a second, but really even more it was their ethos and I assume the owner who was making my drink. He was so lovely, friendly and honest. I will definitely be back.“
