“I went last week to TKRC on McDougal in the evening! The two men (I forgot their names but two young non Indian gentlemen who were there between 6-7:30pm) helped me with my large order! They were fantastic!!!! One even suggested the crepe place across the street which was AMAZING! To whoever owns this particular store, those two men were excellent spokespeople for your business, really took care to speak to me with courtesy and friendliness and in no uncertain terms….. were the best! I LOVE the food but with these two men represting your business, I would come back for the lovely service too 🥰🥰 To these two gentlemen…. You are the best 🍻“

“Visited RAS 3 times within 1 calendar week. With each visit the food got better. Service was amazing, was accommodated with bar seating when walking in. “Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! Highly recommended!“

“Very impressed since they was decorating the place. I was passing by every day till they finally open and I desire to try the food, I was curious and also I’m not a vegan person. When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. So thankful to have them at the neighborhood, the service is excellent and Yesenia and her employees super professionals. The ambiance and decoration soo relaxing- I love the food and the service, how they welcome you, is hard to find a place like that. Highly recommended to everyone- vegan or not vegan- 🥗 the talent is there and I wish them success- nice location, sparkling clean - if you are looking for good food - this is your spot-“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

It seems that nearly everything is prepared to order, and as a result if coming here you should be prepared to possibly wait longer than most restaurants for your food to be ready.
I do wish there was a way for the restaurant to communicate this to avoid problems with new customers who may be expecting quicker service.“

“I live in basically the middle of nowhere. Most food I eat is relegated to home cooking or traveling several towns over if I ever want to eat out. I'm visiting the city for a weekend. Oh my god I didn't know we were at this level. Genuinely some of the greatest plant meat food I've ever had. “I met Sandra at the Asbury Park Vegfest. By the end of day 2 when I went to her booth she was out of collards but she spent 10 minutes explaining to me exactly how to make them her way. Her yams and Mac and Cheese were delicious! She invited me to her Instagram page if I have any more questions! I’m going to ask her how she makes black eyed peas. I love her generosity of spirit!! ❤️❤️❤️“
