“I stopped by about an hour before closing, and even then, the employee was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. I never felt rushed at all, which I really appreciated. The food was just as impressive. I got the 20pc chicken wings and the chicken was perfectly cooked. It was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and they were very generous with the sauce. The Cajun waffle fries were also so good, packed with flavor and definitely a must try. The only small downside was that it was a little on the salty side, but honestly, everything else was so great that it didn’t take away from the experience. Definitely will be coming back“

I was excited to see the G.O.A.T return, and more so with a proper shop. I got so excited, I ordered two chicken platters and only managed to finish one. Warmed it up two days later and it tasted just as good as when I got it. Great to have you guys back!“

“Arguably a top 2 halal option in the Jersey City area, you can swap it from 1st or 2nd. They changed the lamb seasoning a few months ago, i did not like that but I ordered today and the lamb taste like how it originally did. 6 stars is i could give it that“

The bread was fresh, the meat was perfectly seasoned, and the sauces added amazing flavor. It was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in Jersey City. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.

“I’ve ordered a few times from Ujala and the food is delicious. Bone in chicken biryani, chicken tikka, naan, palak goat, etc. all delicious. Great flavor! Portions are a bit smaller than I’d like, considering the pricing, but it’s worth it!“

“I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and have always enjoyed the food here. Their green spicy sauce is outstanding, the portion sizes are generous, and the spicy chicken rice bowl has consistently been one of my favorite meals. I appreciate the quality protein and the value they provide.

Unfortunately, my experience today was disappointing. The chicken was noticeably saltier than usual, which affected the overall flavor of the meal. I know one of the longtime employees who has always been attentive to customer feedback, but he was not there today. Otherwise, I would have shared my concerns with him directly.

That said, this is the first time I have had an issue after many years of positive experiences. I am hopeful this was just an isolated incident and look forward to returning.“

“I typically order from Uber Eats for pickup. I usually select the Chicken Shawarma BOGO for lunch. It is my go-to lunch meals with really fresh and tasty ingredients. There is great variety of sauces and add-ons to select. The staff are kind. The restaurant is clean and inviting. I have became a regular when ordering from this location. 👍“
