“Went there in Lower east village Manhattan to have halal Tikka rolls. Had to wait for a good 45 minutes for our order. Small place run by a family, I suppose. Rolls were good and spicy. The place was so so with little attention to regular cleaning since they appeared really short handed. Hope they can improve the ambiance further.“

“Minaar in Jersey City is a vibrant spot with rich flavors and a lively atmosphere. They offer an extensive menu and consistently high-quality food made with fresh ingredients. There's something for everyone, and the staff is friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a delicious meal, Mithaas is a must-visit.“

“Shadman Restaurant has been one of our favorite spots for years, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. The chicken kebabs are perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the samosas are crispy, hot, and packed with flavor.
The staff is friendly, welcoming, and the service is always quick. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality and portions you get.
If you’re looking for authentic Pakistani food in the Jersey City area, Shadman is definitely worth a visit. We’ve been coming here for a long time and will continue to be loyal customers. Highly recommended!“

“It's a vibey little spot, pretty cheap, definitely an interesting authentic feel. Dude spoke no english (totally ok) but was friendly and hooked me up as I pointed to stuff. Worth a stop in, not the best food i've ever had but solid. I'd go back if I needed a quick bite. $10 flat filled me up.“

“Aasma Restaurant is truly one of the best places for authentic Pakistani food in New Jersey! Every dish is packed with rich, homemade flavor and prepared fresh. The butter chicken was creamy and delicious, the aloo methi & seekh kabab was perfectly seasoned, and the naan was soft, fresh, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is welcoming and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The restaurant is clean, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. If you’re looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine with excellent service and a warm atmosphere, Aasma Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it to anyone craving flavorful halal food. I’ll definitely be coming back!

“Amazing service and even more amazing food. Came in during lunch rush and I waited no more than 10 min for a box of FRESHLY made chicken. Saw someone say to try the blueberry biscuit and it is a MUST TRY! Pairs really well with the chicken. Overall I’m very satisfied and would definitely come back.“

“My wife and I dined at Kashmir 9 twice during our recent stay in New York, and both visits were excellent.
On our first visit, we ordered the chicken biryani, which was flavorful, aromatic, and generously portioned. We enjoyed it so much that we came back again. On our second visit, we tried the combo rice with two chicken dishes, and it was another satisfying meal.
Kashmir 9 is a simple, unpretentious restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner was very friendly and made us feel at home, which made both visits even more enjoyable.“

“Alhumdullilah everything is halal here. No frills, nothing fancy here whatsoever but the food will hit the spot for many that work or shopping around the area. It's on 33 Street opposite of Macy's and Madison Square Garden.
I have been coming here for a very long time even before they switched hands. I still continue to patronage here many years later.
It's now the only dine-in halal food place that actually serves Spanish halal food I think as of this review, of the entire Manhattan Island, outside of Mexican Latino halal food that are slowly popping up. The other halal Spanish spot that used to be by Queens Bridge few blocks away from El Ber and who also served halal Jamaican food there too sadly no longer exist and turned into a American halal burger joint before COVID.
In addition to their halal Spanish food menu, they also have American fast food and also a surprisingly pretty good Indian food menu there as well. Just advising everyone food definitely better just around lunch time when it's out the kitchen. Later in the evening doesn't look too fresh or appetizing but hey, sometimes I still come around anyway at that time. And every now and then I'll come for breakfast. And that's good too
There is plenty of seating too.“

“I love Lasani restaurant. Their prices are very reasonable and so when my husband and I are looking to eat out but not fancy it’s our go-to spot. Food is delicious, veg and non veg options, fast service. I like the environment, casual dining. Open late, too! Lasani is one of my favorite restaurants in Jersey City. When I want to eat out in a casual way, this is my spot. Highly recommend the roti!
Vegetarian options: I love the Chana, sometimes they have different veggies like cauliflower, spinach, depends on the day. Their roti is vegan and it’s soooo soft and good.
Parking: Easy to park“
“These street carts were peppered all over NYC. Am unsure why certain carts have longer queues than the rest even though they were all from the same franchise. Nothing much to comment on the taste. I didn't like the mess on the plate which was heavily slathered in white sauce. Reasonably priced. Portions are huge.“
“THE BEST STORE IN JERSEY CITY WHEN IT COMES TO RESPECT . Theirs a woman in their that is the heart beat of the store she's so sweet and patient , makes my day to just see her when I'm coming to and from work, that pizza is thick and perfect for a drunk night out or if you want something to filling . but the Vegetable Samosa and the fruits and Vegetables are why I go , best prices in town too! 7 dollar pizza pies and 150 samosas I'm getting hungrier the more that I type . DON'T GO TO FRANKS NEXT DOOR , You won't get the respect and better prices this place easily offers. and they HAVE THEIR OWN PARKING LOT.“

“Our Bangladeshi food adventure continues and this restaurant is another absolute winner!
The food here is incredibly authentic and packed with deep, rich flavors. What makes this spot especially great is their extensive menu they offer a variety of other South Asian cuisines, meaning there is truly something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you are sticking to traditional Bangladeshi favorites or trying out different dishes, you will not be disappointed.
This place is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Fantastic food, great variety, and wonderful flavors!“

“I love this place, food is so good, I like seekh kabab, my wife she likes Pakoda kadhi, their aloo paratha, goat karahi, chicken karahi is so good, what i like is that they make fresh kabab as you order, not pre cooked kababs. and those two girls working there I don't know their names are so efficient, always smiling and very attentive. Thank you guys for being awesome.“

“So I just had iftaar with their tikka paratha roll that I had got last Sunday evening. It just tasted so good even though I ate it cold straight from the fridge. 😊 It didn't taste as good when I had ordered it on site. Then, without me even asking for anything, they remade it and gave it to me to take it home with me even though I had told them I was full. 😊😊 The largest portions I have ever seen anywhere, good food, clean, best interior and decor, excellent service. I have yet to see a BETTER or even equally nice place in NYC. 🤍 Jo baat hay. Food makes/breaks the mood.“
