“K. I see most of the reviews are a few years old. Let me give the newest review. We ordered chicken kadai, kebab, and Chai today. The chicken kadai and Chai were so goood, I would die for them. Seriously. Two thumbs up! And the gulab jamun were good, too. Alhumdulilah, we left very happily. 😊😊“

“Went there in Lower east village Manhattan to have halal Tikka rolls. Had to wait for a good 45 minutes for our order. Small place run by a family, I suppose. Rolls were good and spicy. The place was so so with little attention to regular cleaning since they appeared really short handed. Hope they can improve the ambiance further.“

“Amazing place! I went here with my family, and the staff was very friendly. The food was excellent—especially the biryani, which I loved. My mom enjoyed it so much that she went back later in the week, traveling nearly an hour just to pick up some takeout.“

“The food quality is impressive—especially dishes like biryani, karahi, and BBQ items like seekh kebab and chicken tikka. Everything tastes fresh and well-seasoned, giving that real “desi” flavor. Their halwa puri breakfast is also something many people love. All the staffs are welcoming and friendly.strongly recommended.“

“It's a vibey little spot, pretty cheap, definitely an interesting authentic feel. Dude spoke no english (totally ok) but was friendly and hooked me up as I pointed to stuff. Worth a stop in, not the best food i've ever had but solid. I'd go back if I needed a quick bite. $10 flat filled me up.“

“My wife and I dined at Kashmir 9 twice during our recent stay in New York, and both visits were excellent.
On our first visit, we ordered the chicken biryani, which was flavorful, aromatic, and generously portioned. We enjoyed it so much that we came back again. On our second visit, we tried the combo rice with two chicken dishes, and it was another satisfying meal.
Kashmir 9 is a simple, unpretentious restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner was very friendly and made us feel at home, which made both visits even more enjoyable.“

“Their food is the best authentic food in the area they open 24/7 and still serv the best and fresh food. They make naan and roti same time. It is my way to go if I didn't cook at home and the only restaurant I trust for my family. They have chicken, beef, fish, goat, biryani and shush cabab, they also have a big variety of sweets and chai.“

“I can't say enough about how good the food here is, especially for its prices. Great pasta, pasta sauces, heroes, pizza rolls, sandwiches, burgers. Good prices, awesome food. Their pasta easily beats out other places. I've eaten pasta in popular Manhattan places, and the pasta in those places are more expensive and Tony's does much better. Places whose pasta sauce matches Tony's level? You can expect it to cost $15-$30 a dish. Sauces full of flavor, and always plentiful. Their heroes are really nice, especially when made fresh (soft, full of flavor). Their steam table food combos are an awesome deal for delicious food. I can't say enough about the food here, and its prices are amazing. Any food place I try, I like to try everything in their menu. I always find a lot of things that do not taste good. 95% of the stuff on Tony's menu is absolutely delicious, and of the 5% that isn't ABSOLUTELY delicious, it's still not bad. I have not encountered any food here that tasted bad or that was repulsive. Every time I get take out from here, opening it is like opening a present, I'm always excited.“

“Mashallah Pakistani Restaurant in Brooklyn is a wonderful destination for anyone seeking authentic, flavorful Pakistani cuisine that satisfies both the appetite and the soul. From the moment you walk in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere and inviting aromas of aromatic spices set the stage for a memorable dining experience that transports you straight to the heart of South Asia. The menu features an impressive array of traditional dishes bursting with bold, authentic flavors. The biryani is a true standout, fragrant, perfectly spiced, and loaded with tender meat, while the rich, creamy curries like nihari, haleem, and karahi deliver deep, satisfying flavors that keep customers coming back. The freshly baked naan, sizzling seekh kebabs, and tender tikka are equally impressive, all prepared with quality halal ingredients and genuine care. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the overall value is excellent for the quality you receive. Service is friendly, attentive, and accommodating, with staff happy to guide newcomers through the menu. Whether you're a longtime fan of Pakistani cuisine or trying it for the first time, Mashallah Pakistani Restaurant delivers an authentic, delicious, and truly satisfying experience worth revisiting.“

“Alhumdullilah everything is halal here. No frills, nothing fancy here whatsoever but the food will hit the spot for many that work or shopping around the area. It's on 33 Street opposite of Macy's and Madison Square Garden.
I have been coming here for a very long time even before they switched hands. I still continue to patronage here many years later.
It's now the only dine-in halal food place that actually serves Spanish halal food I think as of this review, of the entire Manhattan Island, outside of Mexican Latino halal food that are slowly popping up. The other halal Spanish spot that used to be by Queens Bridge few blocks away from El Ber and who also served halal Jamaican food there too sadly no longer exist and turned into a American halal burger joint before COVID.
In addition to their halal Spanish food menu, they also have American fast food and also a surprisingly pretty good Indian food menu there as well. Just advising everyone food definitely better just around lunch time when it's out the kitchen. Later in the evening doesn't look too fresh or appetizing but hey, sometimes I still come around anyway at that time. And every now and then I'll come for breakfast. And that's good too
There is plenty of seating too.“

“I am SO grateful that this place remains open through many years. They call it chicken Tikka but what it is is a hefty kebab freshly grilled ground chicken with spices, served with naan bread, and spicy yogurt sauce, for five bucks. It's substantial, but more than that, indescribably delicious. They don't seem quite hindu or quite Muslim, I can't quite place it, but these hardworking Americans serve LaGuardia's taxi and limo drivers and anyone lucky enough to wander in.“

“Although the place is geographically located at a busy location, the overall ambiance is not so appealing. There seems to be something missing there. They fo have varieties buy still doesn't create the required ambiance.
Parking: Hard to find parking, usually people double park“

“These street carts were peppered all over NYC. Am unsure why certain carts have longer queues than the rest even though they were all from the same franchise. Nothing much to comment on the taste. I didn't like the mess on the plate which was heavily slathered in white sauce. Reasonably priced. Portions are huge.“
