The food is ok, but there are issues. The flavors are occasionally a bit bland and the quality control leaves something to be desired. I found a rather large stone in my chickpeas (only slightly smaller than a chick pea).The service is probably great, but if English is your language then they seem reluctant or annoyed to take your order since it doesn't seem to be the language they're comfortable with.I was hoping for a tasty local spot,but this won't be it.
Mithas is a neighborhood institution, and I am shocked I haven't written about them before. This is an unassuming Pakistani restaurant on the bustling Coney Island Avenue. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the crowds of neighbors waiting on their food. Service is pretty efficient, they don't take long to bring food out.
