“It's a vibey little spot, pretty cheap, definitely an interesting authentic feel. Dude spoke no english (totally ok) but was friendly and hooked me up as I pointed to stuff. Worth a stop in, not the best food i've ever had but solid. I'd go back if I needed a quick bite. $10 flat filled me up.“

“My wife and I dined at Kashmir 9 twice during our recent stay in New York, and both visits were excellent.
On our first visit, we ordered the chicken biryani, which was flavorful, aromatic, and generously portioned. We enjoyed it so much that we came back again. On our second visit, we tried the combo rice with two chicken dishes, and it was another satisfying meal.
Kashmir 9 is a simple, unpretentious restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner was very friendly and made us feel at home, which made both visits even more enjoyable.“

“Alhumdullilah everything is halal here. No frills, nothing fancy here whatsoever but the food will hit the spot for many that work or shopping around the area. It's on 33 Street opposite of Macy's and Madison Square Garden.
I have been coming here for a very long time even before they switched hands. I still continue to patronage here many years later.
It's now the only dine-in halal food place that actually serves Spanish halal food I think as of this review, of the entire Manhattan Island, outside of Mexican Latino halal food that are slowly popping up. The other halal Spanish spot that used to be by Queens Bridge few blocks away from El Ber and who also served halal Jamaican food there too sadly no longer exist and turned into a American halal burger joint before COVID.
In addition to their halal Spanish food menu, they also have American fast food and also a surprisingly pretty good Indian food menu there as well. Just advising everyone food definitely better just around lunch time when it's out the kitchen. Later in the evening doesn't look too fresh or appetizing but hey, sometimes I still come around anyway at that time. And every now and then I'll come for breakfast. And that's good too
There is plenty of seating too.“

“My first time trying this place exceeded what I hoped to find. Their menu covers many types of dishes. Workers here are incredibly kind and provide assistance with anything you ask. Nearly everything on the menu satisfies. Give this spot an opportunity – they earn it.“
“These street carts were peppered all over NYC. Am unsure why certain carts have longer queues than the rest even though they were all from the same franchise. Nothing much to comment on the taste. I didn't like the mess on the plate which was heavily slathered in white sauce. Reasonably priced. Portions are huge.“

“Went there in Lower east village Manhattan to have halal Tikka rolls. Had to wait for a good 45 minutes for our order. Small place run by a family, I suppose. Rolls were good and spicy. The place was so so with little attention to regular cleaning since they appeared really short handed. Hope they can improve the ambiance further.“
