“Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!

It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.

Only negative is that there is not enough seating and it can get super busy. It is a 10/10 and would recommend.“

“I didn’t know what I was missing - Uyghur Lagman. It is slightly different than Uzbek, but certainly authentic. The hand-pulled noodles here made all the difference, as did the kind and hospitable young woman at the counter. Wish I lived nearby so I could come here more often!“

“Honestly this is my first time having authentic Moroccan food, and the brother recommended me to have KousKous. And I chose the lamb. The KousKous was incredibly fluffy, delicate, and flavorful. My god it was amazing. The lamb was also pretty good, it was super tender and tasty. In my option though there was a bit too much veggies in the dish, but overall it was a great dish. I liked it a lot. Overall honest review I’d give this experience like a 9/10. Next time I want to try their Tagine! Insha’Allah“

“TL;DR: Food good. Service good. Portion to price ratio not that good. Get the biryani!
The food was well spiced. Portions were not really shareable. The chicken dishes were especially small amounts. The chicken 65($12)and chicken tikka($18) came with 4 small pieces and 5 small pieces respectively. The laccha paratha was also not even actual laccha paratha. With the bad out the way, let’s hear the good.
The service was very good, they take care of you and your needs. The biryani was tasty and the vindaloo had some nice heat to it. All the food was tasty, I didn’t have a bad dish. I would come here again.“

“June 26, 2022. Walked to get our order of a Lamb wrap, chicken wrap and fries. First time there and a welcome place to the neighborhood. The staff are friendly, the place is new and clean and most important the food is very good. Will return many times. Check it out.“

“In town for work from Seattle (where there is a tragic lack of Bosnian food). This is exactly what I needed after my long flight. Went out of my way to come here before going into downtown, and it did not disappoint!

The Cevapi were incredible; juicy, flavorful and the Kajmak was perfect!

There was no Cevapi left standing.

I will make it a requirement to stop here again next time I’m in town.

“I went to order some food because I saw they closed at 1:30Am I arrived and they said they only taking orders on line because it’s already 12:45am I made the order not realizing they had a another location in queens the guy said it was fine and just made the order for me, and he made it so well and such a good amount. “When I got my food, some people lined up that were regulars. The server knew all their favorites and even came out to hug one of the customers. He was so nice! The food came out quickly, but I wouldn’t have cared if it took a while. I accidentally blocked the way for a stroller to get through because I was chatting with him since he was so nice. 10/10 :)“

Other places drench everything in sauce to mask the taste of low quality meat but not here. The meat is great quality and very flavorful on its own.“

“Having a meal ordered from Shah's in Inwood is like having Thanksgiving dinner with every order because the food is outstanding, consistent, fresh, and the service is excellent!! My son and I have been ordering from Shah's 2 - 3 times a week for the past 8 months because the restaurant never fails. My son orders the meat combo and I order either the falafel or fish platter. Both of us order everything: white, hot, and barbecue sauce; chick peas and black beans. In addition to the cukes and tomatoes, customers can also add olives and pickled red cabbage on their meal!! Tiebah and Thaliah are always welcoming, and always remember our names and our orders. We are never disappointed!!!“

“I’ve been coming here for a long time, and this used to be one of our favorite halal carts. We would regularly drive in from Long Island with groups of friends and family, especially for the falafel, which was always outstanding.

Unfortunately, since Hamza left, I’ve noticed a significant decline in both the service and the overall quality of the food. The owner has always been friendly and seems like a genuinely good person, so I’m not sure exactly what’s changed behind the scenes, but it just doesn’t feel the same anymore.

Today we came as a family, and there were three new employees working. It was pretty clear they weren’t happy to be there, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. We did have a larger order, but in the past that was never an issue—we were always greeted warmly and appreciated as customers.

I’m leaving this review because I genuinely want to see this place succeed. The food and service used to be exceptional, and I hope they can get back to the standard that made so many of us loyal customers.“

“First time trying both the Chicken & Beef Doner Boxes.I was pleasantly surprised how GOOD everything was! The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. “It's going to sound like I know this guy but I don't. I go to Halal guys, but the smell from this truck just got the best of me. All 3 sauces, the rice, the veggies... STELLAR! “I went with my bro to try this chicken spot and it was top. I ordered the big back burger and it crushed !! The combination of all the toppings plus the special big back sauce was so good. My bro ordered the Alito fries , I tried some of the chicken - soft and tasty. We shared waffles and chicken as well. The waffles were great. The plus thing - all of it was halal! I definitely would recommend anyone to eat here and I will be visiting again soon!“

“The food at Kemo’s Kitchen was incredible—everything was extremely flavorful, and you could really taste each individual ingredient. My wife and I even agreed that we enjoyed it more than our usual Pakistani and Indian cuisine. It had so much depth and flavor without depending entirely on heavy spices to make it taste good.

The masala fries were especially delicious! We believe the waiter gave them to us as an extra after seeing our daughter, which was incredibly thoughtful and kind of the brother. “If you’re in Queens and you haven’t been to Broski Grill yet, you’re sleeping. This is the city that set the standard for halal street food — and Broski Grill is holding that flag with both hands.
I got the combo over rice with fries — crinkle cut — loaded with chipotle sauce, white sauce, hot sauce, and green sauce. Look at that box. That’s not a meal, that’s a flex.
The rice is a proper base, the meat is seasoned right, and the crinkle cuts hold up under all that sauce without going limp — which tells you the fries are fresh and the timing is on point. The sauce game is elite. White sauce is herby and creamy, the hot sauce brings real heat, the green sauce adds that fresh brightness, and the chipotle ties the whole thing together. Every bite hits different depending on what combination lands on the fork.
But what separates Broski Grill from every other spot on the block is the people. The owners genuinely care.
