“I’m literally writing this while I’m still sitting here because these guys deserve a shout-out. I’ve been to a bunch of Dave’s Hot Chicken spots, and this is easily the best one.

I was having a nightmare with the app, and Mohammed took the lead helping me figure the whole thing out. He was patient, never rushed me, and made sure everything was taken care of. Ahnaf was very helpful too, and both of them were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience.

The whole staff has been awesome. If you’re trying to decide which Dave’s Hot Chicken to go to, make it the 188th Street location in Queens. I’ll definitely be back.“

“One of the best halal food carts! Rice and chicken are well made and cooked alongside their lamb. I have tried many halal carts but this is one of the few carts whose food is really good. Been coming here for many years and their quality has remained the same. You won't be disappointed!“

“Honestly this is my first time having authentic Moroccan food, and the brother recommended me to have KousKous. And I chose the lamb. The KousKous was incredibly fluffy, delicate, and flavorful. My god it was amazing. The lamb was also pretty good, it was super tender and tasty. In my option though there was a bit too much veggies in the dish, but overall it was a great dish. I liked it a lot. Overall honest review I’d give this experience like a 9/10. Next time I want to try their Tagine! Insha’Allah“

“10/10 experience! We went to Curry in Handi for my mom’s birthday and had an amazing time. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, gave us great recommendations, and brought out a complimentary dish for us to try.

What really made the night special was that, without us even asking, they surprised my mom with a birthday cake and played a birthday song over the speakers. Such a thoughtful gesture and completely unexpected!

The food tasted amazing, and the service went above and beyond. Great food, great people, and an overall wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!“

“June 26, 2022. Walked to get our order of a Lamb wrap, chicken wrap and fries. First time there and a welcome place to the neighborhood. The staff are friendly, the place is new and clean and most important the food is very good. Will return many times. Check it out.“

“Great food at a great price. Best of all cart and I've been to a lot. whenever I'm in the neighborhood I stop by and usually get myself two Gyros so I can eat one for lunch and have one for dinner. “I went to order some food because I saw they closed at 1:30Am I arrived and they said they only taking orders on line because it’s already 12:45am I made the order not realizing they had a another location in queens the guy said it was fine and just made the order for me, and he made it so well and such a good amount. “Good price and quality. I always order it with the sauce on the side and one time they forgot the sauce and it still tasted amazing without sauce. I often order it without sauce now lol. Other places drench everything in sauce to mask the taste of low quality meat but not here. The meat is great quality and very flavorful on its own.“

“I’ve been coming here for a long time, and this used to be one of our favorite halal carts. We would regularly drive in from Long Island with groups of friends and family, especially for the falafel, which was always outstanding.

Unfortunately, since Hamza left, I’ve noticed a significant decline in both the service and the overall quality of the food. The owner has always been friendly and seems like a genuinely good person, so I’m not sure exactly what’s changed behind the scenes, but it just doesn’t feel the same anymore.

Today we came as a family, and there were three new employees working. It was pretty clear they weren’t happy to be there, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. We did have a larger order, but in the past that was never an issue—we were always greeted warmly and appreciated as customers.

I’m leaving this review because I genuinely want to see this place succeed. The food and service used to be exceptional, and I hope they can get back to the standard that made so many of us loyal customers.“

“Having a meal ordered from Shah's in Inwood is like having Thanksgiving dinner with every order because the food is outstanding, consistent, fresh, and the service is excellent!! My son and I have been ordering from Shah's 2 - 3 times a week for the past 8 months because the restaurant never fails. My son orders the meat combo and I order either the falafel or fish platter. Both of us order everything: white, hot, and barbecue sauce; chick peas and black beans. In addition to the cukes and tomatoes, customers can also add olives and pickled red cabbage on their meal!! Tiebah and Thaliah are always welcoming, and always remember our names and our orders. We are never disappointed!!!“

“Absolutely amazing experience at Sami’s Kebab House! Everything we had was incredibly fresh and tasted amazing, but the lamb shank was seriously out of this world. Easily one of the best I’ve had.

The manager was also super friendly and welcoming. He’s great friends with my uncle and went above and beyond for us, even offering us some extra things to try. The hospitality here is truly unmatched and made the whole experience even better.

“I went with my bro to try this chicken spot and it was top. I ordered the big back burger and it crushed !! The combination of all the toppings plus the special big back sauce was so good. My bro ordered the Alito fries , I tried some of the chicken - soft and tasty. We shared waffles and chicken as well. The waffles were great. The plus thing - all of it was halal! I definitely would recommend anyone to eat here and I will be visiting again soon!“

I got the combo over rice with fries — crinkle cut — loaded with chipotle sauce, white sauce, hot sauce, and green sauce. Look at that box. That’s not a meal, that’s a flex.
The rice is a proper base, the meat is seasoned right, and the crinkle cuts hold up under all that sauce without going limp — which tells you the fries are fresh and the timing is on point. The sauce game is elite. White sauce is herby and creamy, the hot sauce brings real heat, the green sauce adds that fresh brightness, and the chipotle ties the whole thing together. Every bite hits different depending on what combination lands on the fork.
But what separates Broski Grill from every other spot on the block is the people. The owners genuinely care. “Halal Mix was honestly a solid spot. We tried a little bit of everything from beef birria tacos, chicken hard shell tacos, steak nachos, chapli hoagie, jerk chicken gyro platter, and the honey chipotle chicken burrito bowl. We also got the wild wings in hot honey, mango habanero, teriyaki, and buttermilk.
Everything was fresh, flavorful, and the portions were good. The birria tacos and wings were definitely some of my favorites. They have a pretty big menu, and the fact that they have multiple locations around Jamaica makes it even easier to check them out. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.“

“Today I visited Amir Halal Restaurant and was seriously impressed. The place was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. I ordered the mild spicy crispy chicken sandwich and it was fantastic, super crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and just the right amount of heat. The flavor was bold but balanced, making it one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in a while. The fries were freshly seasoned, hot, and crispy also not your average side! They paired perfectly with the sandwich and really completed the meal. The food came out fresh, and the service was quick and friendly. I love that they grill everything over charcoal in the open air, so you can actually watch them prepare and cook your food. It makes the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The smoky charcoal flavor makes everything taste amazing.

Their sauces are amazing, especially the Mango Habanero sauce!

Another nice touch is that they always serve free tea to their guests.

The waiting time is reasonable, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great food, great service, and a really nice atmosphere.
