“One of the best halal food carts! Rice and chicken are well made and cooked alongside their lamb. I have tried many halal carts but this is one of the few carts whose food is really good. Been coming here for many years and their quality has remained the same. You won't be disappointed!“

“The mint tea hit the spot and the chicken pastilla was also very solid. The highlight for us was the jawhara which was so light and crispy, with a great flavor of pudding. For the pastilla the portion was a bit small but fine for the price. However my personal preference would be to have egg inside (I don't think they use egg in theirs). Still, very pleasant food and service and I would definitely come back.“

“I used to go into the city for halal then by richmondhill/glendale. one night after work i decided to try essa's chicken over rice by qcm... 10$... that was 2021 best decision ive made and price has stayed exactly the same from when i first went there till now, not only is his chicken seasoned great but he blesses you with a perfect mix of veggies, fries and one falafel(if thats what ur lookin for but if u a plane jane then he'll bless ya wit that to. “Oscar has AMAZING customer service. I asked for nachos which they don't sell, I always get the fries but I was craving nachos badly bc it's my favorite. He asked me if I had a lil time to wait. I said sure, went and sat in my car. Came out few mins later and seen a fresh batch of pita chips being fried. I was pleasantly surprised. I live in Queens and typically go to halal bros on the conduit but I'll have to visit this brooklyn location more often. Thanks again for the excellent service and great food 😀

The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. “Food is always great but its been about 7 times that I have went and the fried chicken has run out, and it takes 15-20 minutes for it to cook. I feel like they need to better manage the timing. Once they see that the chicken on display is half gone, they should already start frying a new batch instead of waiting for the last min where there's less than 10 pieces for them to now start frying the new batch. Also they have a limit on breast they fried in each batch. So if the few pieces are gone, you will now have to wait for the new batch to fry and that can take over 45 mins, especially if they are not ready to fry a batch. Other than that, the food is great and the staff are also very friendly.“
