“I was here for lunch midweek and it seems like the place is ran by whoever has a moment to step out of the kitchen. Didn’t mind as it adds to the atmosphere.
The food was amazing and I can’t wait to come back with friends to try more dishes. Very happy I stopped by.“

“The food and price are unmatched. For ONLY 8 dollars I got lamb over rice AND the meal included a free soda! The halal carts around my neighborhood stopped the free soda and hiked up the prices YEARS AGO. I HIGHLY recommend the place! Also, the man working the halal cart has a nice flirtatious charm to him! Tip the man!“

“Checked out Halal Muchies after so many people told me about it and they did not disappoint!!! Cooked perfectly, super tasty and great portions! I hope this place is around for a very long time!“
“Time and time again, Shah’s Halal cart has been my go to halal cart in all of NY. I’ve tried halal carts from LES, UES, UWS, Flat Iron, Financial District, 53rd and 6th, Astoria, Bayside, etc, and I still come back to Shah’s. I moved to Florida 6 years ago and when I come back to visit family, you bet I’m paying a visit to Shah’s.“

“Depending on the guy operating, they can give out huge servings I lowkey eat w my friend and we still get full from one order of any platter. They did increase the price to $9 for a standard chicken or lamb over rice a few weeks ago but ts still slaps the usual dude working there is hella chill too 11/10“

“I’ve driven past this place a few times and finally decided to stop in and grab some food to take home. What really caught my attention was that it was around 11 PM and the place was still packed with customers, which is usually a good sign.
As soon as I walked in, the smell of the food was incredible. I ordered a meal to go, but honestly, I couldn’t wait until I got home. The food smelled so good that I started trying it right in my car.
For about $10, the portion was surprisingly generous, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly, service was quick, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations.
Great value, great food, and great service. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a tasty halal meal in the area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Compared to the other Afghan Restaurants around this neighborhood, I highly recommend this place. There kababs with Rice and Spinach is a traditional afghan dish and is made heavenly. I would recommend Order number 25 if you're someone who enjoys Authentic Lamb Kababs. Number 23 has combination of grounded chicken and lamb tikka which are grilled to perfection. If you are a fan of Afghan spinach, each dish comes with a gentle portion of it. Highly recommend this established compared to Bakhtar Kabab and Shirazi.“

“An absolutely wonderful Afghan dining experience! The food was rich in flavor, beautifully spiced, and clearly made with care and tradition. The kabobs were tender and juicy, the rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the portions were generous. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, just like a traditional Afghan meal. The service was kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.“
