“It's pretty nice inside and I like the massive selection that you can choose from. Definitely cool for hanging with friends or a casual date because the vibe is pretty chill. I usually don't have to deal with a wait before being seated and the skewers are great for sharing because they're all bite sized.“

“MoLiXian is one of the stalls in the New World Food Court. It offers all kinds of desserts and snacks - from ice cream, egg puffs, to savory crepes and, supposedly, noodle soups. Since this is a day trip for me and this is a food court, I wanted to sample around. Here, there's a dedicated menu section on takoyaki, so I decided it must be worth a try. There are 4 different takes on takoyaki. I took T1, the classic take with bonito flakes. Menu says jumbo, but actually it's just slightly larger than the mini ones I've had else where. Taste is good, but as always everywhere, they don't really put much octopus in them. Their version also weren't sweet which was a good thing. I don't like the fact that many Japanese dishes mix sweet and savory together. Overall, it was a good experience.“
“If you’re looking for a budget-friendly lunch, this place is it. Their $9 lunch boxes are amazing value, especially the Braised Pork Trotter with Soybeans and the Chestnut Chicken. Flavors are home-style and not greasy. Feels like a meal made with care.“
“My recent meal at 家有炖罐 was a great example of how traditional Chinese cooking can be both comforting and deeply rooted in culture and history.
The beef fried rice showed strong basic technique. Fried rice dates back to ancient China as a way to use leftover rice, and doing it well requires high heat and quick cooking. The rice here was light and separate, not clumpy, which suggests it was made with day-old rice and cooked properly over high heat. The beef added a rich, savory flavor, while simple ingredients like soy sauce, garlic, and scallions kept the dish balanced and not overly heavy.
The crab roe soup dumplings were one of the highlights. These dumplings are originally from the Jiangnan region and are known for their delicate wrappers and soup-filled centers. The soup inside is made by mixing meat with a gelatin-rich stock that melts when steamed. The crab roe added a slightly sweet, ocean-like flavor that made the filling taste more complex. Ingredients like ginger and Shaoxing wine are typically used to enhance the flavor and keep it well-balanced.
The standout dish was the black chicken soup with red dates, longan, and lotus seeds. This dish reflects an important idea in Chinese food culture that food can also support health. Black chicken (often called Silkie chicken) is commonly used in nourishing soups. Red dates add natural sweetness and are often believed to help with blood health, longan has a gentle sweetness and is traditionally linked to relaxation, and lotus seeds add a mild, nutty taste and are associated with digestion and sleep. The soup itself was light but full of flavor, likely simmered for hours to bring out the essence of all the ingredients without needing heavy seasoning.
The fried string beans added a nice contrast in texture. They were likely cooked using a dry-frying method, which removes moisture and creates a slightly crispy, wrinkled surface. This method brings out the natural sweetness of the beans. With simple additions like garlic, the dish remained flavorful without overpowering the rest of the meal.
What stood out most was the balance both in flavor and in the idea of food as nourishment. It’s a place that reflects how Chinese cuisine values not just taste, but also tradition and well-being.“

“$12 cai pan fan - 2 veggies and 1 meat dish
I come here when I crave rice and something spicy. They offer cold dishes as side dishes or you can have them as part of of your lunch meal. Got the tofu shreds and celery, bamboo shots in chili oil, and the beef tendon & tripe. They were all delicious. I know other places have cheaper prepared rice dishes like this around flushing but if im in NY food court, this is a nice meal as well which includes hot soup.
Ive recommend their hot oil chili hicken, chicken feet, and the fried fish too. I see lots of locals get their hot rice dishes. Might be worth a try too!“

“I know it’s weird to leave a review for a mall food court restaurant, but this one deserves it!This place is incredible. As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of options. Also, the veggies were fresh and seasoned really well (which is rare for any restaurant when it comes to vegetables). The servers were really friendly and smiled at me as they served me. It really made the whole experience very pleasant.Thank you Noodle House for being a nice pick-me-up in the middle of my day!

“Have always ordered delivery, and have not visited the establishment; hence I cannot rate the service or atmosphere.
Nonetheless, the food always tastes great.
The Cumin Lamb Fried Rice is a must try. The lamb has a good texture and flavor, and the fried rice is consistently cooked well with great flavor (Sauteed onions, egg, red chilli, broccoli)
The Cumin Fries are also not bad at all. Comes in a box, still had some crunch, with the added cumin flavor. I've had spiced fries before from other restaurants, but this was different, and did not have an overwhelming amount of cumin. We enjoyed this as well.
Packaging is great as well. Nice sturdy boxes. Great for takeout“

“This was the best Uyghur food I’ve ever eaten, and I eat a lot of Uyghur food. The chicken and rice was absolutely magnificent, but make sure you can handle some spice. The chicken kewap blew my group out of the water with its deliciousness, and don’t even get me started on the polo. Incredible 🤌🏼. And this was some of the best customer service I’ve ever received. Despite a slight language barrier, the staff worked their hardest to ensure my comfort and enjoyment. Next time I’m in New York, I will eat here every night. Come to this restaurant if you want to enjoy your food. If not, go anywhere else.“
