The Chinese food is fantastic, and the Thai food is a home run too! The meats are high quality as there is no fat or cartilage. What really sets this place apart is their consistency. We ordered the General Tso's Chicken and a few of their Chef Special Rolls, including the 'Out of Control' roll. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. “Quick, affordable and tasty dry hot pot. You walk in, grab a bowl and tongs, choose your ingredients and hand it over to the cashier to cook. Price is based on weight, but one bowl around 1.5 lb was enough for the two of us. We opted for the “tiny spicy” level and it was just the right out amount of kick — not too spicy but just enough to get you sniffling. The seasoning the chef put it was great too. Highly recommend“

We went for some happy hour but the drafts happened to be down. Our waiter was pleasant and accommodating so we stayed anyway for some beer and appetizers. Came for happy hour but left happy even without it.“

“An absolute and unexpected fantastic experience. The high quality food was freshly prepared and the service was so polite and friendly. They really understand takeout and pack the sauces and liquids separately so the food doesn't become soggy. The sushi and sashimi are prepared to order but they are very efficient and the wait time is not so long. Mizu is a huge step up from the usual asian takeout. It's restaurant quality.“

“The staff upfront is so nice. She politely answered all my questions and helped me understand the menu. I ordered the coconut smoothie and the coconut mango milk. The coconut smoothie is so light and refreshing for the heat, definitely good for someone who doesn’t like super sugary drinks. The coconut mango milk is so delicious and you get to choose the sweetness. I also ordered the general tsp bento box and it came with a lot of stuff. Good portion sizing I really liked everything I ordered. Also when ordering the food they let you put an allergy which is super accommodating. I will be back.“

“I DIDNT TAKE A PHOTO OF THE PHO BECAUSE WE WERE IN SHOCK AND ATE IT SO FAST. Guys the quality difference is real. The spring roll ratio was amazing. Small menu, everything done right, this broth wasn’t full of the msg, salty, overly fake umami beef broth flavor - The moment u walk in you can literally smell all the toasted spices! And the broth guys. We took one sip and could not stop drinking the broth. It is the best in NYC we’ve had.“

“I bought bubble tea and shrimp fried rice. The bubble tea was standard. I do not recommend the fried rice. They gave me yellow rice with fried onions, a few green peas and and small bleached out shrimp. Fried rice should be white rice with sauteed vegetables plus the soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, scallions, cabbage etc. Where is the standard?“

“It is such a good viet restaurant. It is probably the best one I have ever tasted! When I order the chicken or pork noodle soup, it is so good. I love how rich and tasty the soup is. I love how when I take the meat from the noodles it is so good. I love the service. The people are so kind and most times they bring the food out fast. It is a self service restaurant so no tipping is needed unless you want to give one and you do need to get your own utensils. It is such a great restaurant to eat and I would definitely recommend it to you. Try it today!“

“It's great that they opened a White Bear in Great Neck, I use to ordered from Flushing to bring over to family in the area and it definitely doesn't taste as good when it's cold.

The quality and taste is the similar and they prep the food pretty quick when it's not busy. I also like how they have a small seating area. My favorite is still their wonton with hot sauce. A quick and simple satisfying meal.“

“Came in with my husband for sesame chicken, dumplings and wonton soup on a chilly Friday night. We dined in and had the soup brought out to us in bowls to share, along with a yummy side salad, followed by the dumplings and then our sesame chicken. Every single item was prepared SO fresh. You can tell everything was just made and delicious. One of the owners (I forgot her name) was so sweet and came over to bring us some dessert to try (which was amazing) and talked to us for a bit. Such a nice, friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back!“

“Fast delivery, I ordered the teriyaki and Fried rice bowl, good flavor and would order again. I also ordered the apple cinnamon Bao as it looked amazing, it was very disappointing. The apples weren't seasoned so all I could taste was the breading, I will not order that again and I only ate 1 of them.“

The food made me full and they had the best white sauce that I asked for extra. they gave me no tomato and really good food with the best orange soda. Pricey but nice. Eat here sometimes. Most sushi restaurants I’ve frequented over the years are inconsistent with quality and freshness—which is what got me to try Taku in the first place and I’ve never looked back! We order from here 3-4 times per month….and we love it! They also have great Asian dishes when I’m not in the mood for sushi, but the rest of my family is. I especially love their Thai basil and their hibachi vegetables. Sooo good!!“
