“Great Shish kebabs for insanely good prices. Most $2, some 2.50-$3.00
Cash only, no cards but she does take Zelle.
Sweet couple, extremely nice.
You're going to want to eat a minimum of 4, but if your hungry easy to eat 8 🤣
Its an outside food cart with limited street seating, but these guys were open at 10pm when it was 27° the other night and they still had a line of people. Absolutely worth every cent.
The lamb was odee slamming, the beef was great. They're all good really, but my fave was the fish balls with the spicy seasoning. Give it a try!“

“This is the cart to go to, after a night out when you’re a little tipsy and hungry. The bbq is affordable, the flavor is so good, and it’s the best Chinese bbq cart in this area. It’s a popular local spot with only two or three guys working, so expect a wait time. They also have plastic chairs in the corner so you can pull off the stack while waiting. If the meat is fatty or not seasoned to your taste the main server is very accommodating. The beef, lamb, enoki mushroom, and lotus root are our go-to order.“

“The ramen here may not be the best in Manhattan, but the prices are very reasonable, especially for Manhattan. The service and atmosphere are both decent as well, making it a good option for a weekday lunch. Overall, it offers great value for the price, which is probably why it gets such high ratings.“

“Definitely one of the best pineapple pork buns I’ve tried. We really enjoyed these, and I’d come back for them again. One tip though: order online if you can. The line can get really long on a busy day, but the online order lets you bypass the regular line, which makes things so much easier.“

“This place changed my life. I first moved to the neighborhood in 2022, I was scared, young, nervous, but ready for the big city. Thankfully The Handpulled Noodle was there to give me the vitamins and minerals I needed to work without end for my dear landlord. The Handpulled Noodle was there for me when nobody was. When you’re looking for insanely good noodles to eat, look no further. P.S. try the mango tea.“

“Delicious. One complaint - the steak was $90 and was small in size and had a good amount of fat and gristle. However, the egg yolk cured in soy sauce it was served with was a great accompaniment.
Other recs
- Verde Margarita and Lychee Highball cocktails
- sweet potato croquettes
- chicory salad (that tahini peanut dressing!!!)
- mushroom mafaldine pasta
- cheesecake“

“We had a wonderful experience at this Uyghur restaurant! We tried the samsa, lagman, and lamb kebab, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and authentic, the meat was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the portions were generous. Highly recommend this restaurant. We’ll definitely be coming back!“

“My girlfriend and I came here to celebrate a special occasion. They have a good happy hour and the service was fantastic. They are super friendly and attentive. The fried rice is awesome and the general tso’s chicken was delicious, with portions so big that we took home leftovers. If I could recommend one thing it would be the fried dumplings appetizer, best I’ve ever had in NYC. We will be back soon!“

“I had the Nepali thali set with fish, jhol momo's, and the aalu chop. The entire meal was so delicious and fresh. The owner was so nice and gave us more side refills. The place is small but there's seating in the lower level. I was soo full and the meal was affordable. There is a bit of a wait time, but soo worth it. I will be coming back soon!“

“The restaurant was a bit confusing at first since each of its three floors caters to a different experience. We ended up on the first floor because we wanted food, beer, and cocktails, and the staff said that was the best option.
The service was friendly, and our food arrived surprisingly quickly. As for the food itself, it was good across the board, but nothing really stood out or left a lasting impression. The oyster omelette was begging for a sauce and the arancini that the server recommended wasn’t very good. Something in it tasted weird, we inquired out of curiosity but were given a list of ingredients that didn’t solve the puzzle. However, the sausage brothers and fried platter were pretty tasty. The drinks, on the other hand, were much more memorable. They were creative, well-made, and most of them tasted great.
I'd say this isn't a place I'd go out of my way to visit for the food alone. But if you're looking for unique drinks with a few snacks to share, it's definitely worth checking out.“

“Ottimo ristorante di Ramen (giapponese e non quello "tarocco" o fatto con quello istantaneo del supermercato) che offre anche una fantastica selezione di ravioli. Prezzi tutto sommato accettabili per la media della città e acqua gratuita. Posto piccolo, accogliente, staff cordiale e velocissimo. Porzioni corpose quindi ordinate con cautela o non riuscirete a finire tutto.“

“Updated Review: happy to report that I returned to The Pho House and everything was excellent! The service was on point, the pho and accompanying vegetables were delicious and fresh.Service was on point. Bahn mi hit the spot, also came with tons of more fresh veggies. Bumping up my score to strong 4.
Noodles were sadly very overcooked, like breaking under their own weight when I tried to pick them up. I had the “regular pho” with brisket+round steak. The meat was great and a good portion though! Also had some issues/miscommunications ordering through the QR code. Even though you order online, you have to wait for a server to bring your check at the end. Hopefully this is all just “new business” kinks to work out!“

“After a few hours at MoMA, my husband and I stopped into 53 for a cocktail and a break from the summer heat. What we expected to be a quick stop turned into one of our favorite moments of the day.
The cocktails were excellent, but what really made the visit was the bartender. We ended up having a great conversation, exchanging recommendations for speakeasies and cocktail bars around the city. It's those genuine interactions that make a place memorable.
This was actually our second time here—we celebrated my birthday with dinner a few years ago, and I still remember how beautiful the food presentation was and how much we enjoyed the meal. On this visit, we also learned they've opened a speakeasy downstairs with live jazz on select weeknights, which gives us the perfect excuse to come back.
Whether you're looking for a great meal or just a well-crafted cocktail in a beautiful space, 53 is definitely worth a stop.“

“OMG. I don't feel like I have adequate words to describe just how amazing this place is.
We got 3 of their signature sushis and they were all out of this world - I really feel like I discovered completely new flavours here! This is a heaven for vegans.
Also: the dark chocolate cheesecake is a must try! It's delicious down to the last bite (we literally ordered it twice haha)“

“What a cute fusion concept! Definitely a hug in a bowl type place so perfect for cold, rainy, or sick days. The owners are also super sweet and pet loving.
Their congee is nice and soothing, super perfect with the soft boiled egg. Also note that they are a mom & pop so they are very understanding with swapping on low ingredient days (ie they let me swap out avocado with sambal)“

“It's pretty nice inside and I like the massive selection that you can choose from. Definitely cool for hanging with friends or a casual date because the vibe is pretty chill. I usually don't have to deal with a wait before being seated and the skewers are great for sharing because they're all bite sized.“

“Quick, affordable and tasty dry hot pot. You walk in, grab a bowl and tongs, choose your ingredients and hand it over to the cashier to cook. Price is based on weight, but one bowl around 1.5 lb was enough for the two of us. We opted for the “tiny spicy” level and it was just the right out amount of kick — not too spicy but just enough to get you sniffling. The seasoning the chef put it was great too. Highly recommend“

“A great restaurant to entertain a group of people, the atmosphere and service is very good with attentive staff and you can actually carry a conversation without yelling at each other.
The food comes out in a more family style manner where it is recommended to get multiple items to try a bit of everything. The food overall is pretty nice and I would give it a personal 7/10, but I wouldn't say it is a great price ratio. It's a more fusion style restaurant, but the flavors are on point and I would not be disappointed if I we're asked to come back .
My favorites of the night were the roasted cauliflower, Japanese sweet potatoe, Sea Bass, and all the desserts!“

“It’s a very Americanised Chinese restaurant (but that’s fine). It’s not as upscale as it looks in the pictures/they make it seem - it’s just a normal restaurant. They had a lot of takeaway orders though it seems.
I ordered the lobster shumai and it was definitely just prawn (shrimp) but they were actually genuinely very good so I won’t complain.
Lo mein was quite a large portion.
Service was very good! I liked my server a lot“
