“I"ve been to Singapore many times. In America it is really hard to find food that tastes like the food you get in Singapore. Im not saying everything on the menu is aithenticly Asian but the Singapore noodles taste like the dish you'd get at any food court or market in my favorite benevolent dictatorship. Also the sushi is good and the people are really nice.

I normally love this restaurant but today I received incorrect items in my delivery order. I ordered a shrimp asparagus hand roll and didn’t there was no shrimp. I ordered a kani salad with no crunch and there were tempura flakes. I also ordered a sushi entree special that comes with a spicy tuna avocado roll but I received a tuna avocado roll. Maybe it was an off night or their machine didn’t take my order correctly.“

And why are you saying the restaurant is on 148th? Lol it’s in on Broadway between 148th and 149th. Just a very bizarre experience on a Friday night.“

“An interesting Asian/Japanese fusion restaurant. The food was creative and tasted pretty good. I particularly enjoyed the dungeness crab, lots of yellow crab oil/fat and some crab meat over rice. The silken tofu was also interesting, a bit salty though. The grilled sea bream and half sasso chicken were delicious. Hopefully there will be more dishes added to the menu in the future, as the current menu items seemed a bit limited. Service was good and the atomsohere was also elegant, clean and chic.“

“I had the Nepali thali set with fish, jhol momo's, and the aalu chop. The entire meal was so delicious and fresh. The owner was so nice and gave us more side refills. “Ok, this place is an experience. Now with the all the chichi restaurants, Mama's is a break. It's a hole in the wall, mom and pop, home made style like you hadn't tasted before in other established restaurants. I feel I am in China and trying out their local foods. Their pot stickers are huge full of meat. The special Mama's noodle is full of surprises. I liked the way that we went there with 3, she pulled out the only table in there and clear the stuff on it and made it a dining table for us. The owner is very friendly and chatty. She told us they use the best Japanese made rice cooker and German made knives. If you want a homey and unusual experience. Drop by when you are in the hoods.“

“I rarely write reviews for Uber Eats orders, but I wanted onigiri and this spot was nearby with delivery, so I placed an order. I chose Steve’s onigiri and the soft shell crab onigiri. Steve’s onigiri was outstanding; it was flavorful and the hot sauce provided a strong spicy kick. I expect to keep thinking about it until I can have it again. The soft shell crab was equally enjoyable. I will certainly return to order Steve’s onigiri and will stop by whenever I am in the area.“

“I went there during the rush hour (7pm dinner time) but even still i was greeted and welcomed. I ordered the chicken steamed dumplings and general tso chicken. The dumplings with the sauce on the side tasted divine and the chicken was delicious. Nothing to complain at all everything was good.“

Air conditioner was out of service. We decided to skip dessert and wrap up dinner earlier than planned.“

“What a cute fusion concept! Definitely a hug in a bowl type place so perfect for cold, rainy, or sick days. The owners are also super sweet and pet loving.

Their congee is nice and soothing, super perfect with the soft boiled egg. Also note that they are a mom & pop so they are very understanding with swapping on low ingredient days (ie they let me swap out avocado with sambal)“

AMAZING!! We had one of the best meals we have had in a long time and my husband and I like to eat. We go to a lot of high ends places, but as I said , this place was extraordinary. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had the fried pork belly , tangerine beef , shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp and ramen noodle. The foods are also hit the spot. BeiJing Duck is great, perfect size. My favourite is actually the Mushu Lettuce Wrap chicken.

“My boyfriend, daughter and I’s favorite restaurant. We love the friendly and welcoming service from the sweet woman at the counter I wish I could remember her name because she makes the experience even better. Moving to this new neighborhood and having this gem nearby is really nice we are lucky. The food is 10/10. Out go to is the stir fry, vegetable ramen for my toddler and the passion fruit tea! I love that my daughter looks forward to coming here and saying hi to the friendly lady and getting a little treat as well. Highly recommend :)“

A restaurant with no particular cuisine dominating the menu despite the name.

Immediately noticeable features:
- Cool, relaxed, cozy environment.
- Extensive bar--SOLD!
- Spacious bathroom.
- Surprisingly generous seating.
- Very extensive and varied menu

We came looking for 2 things: pho and sushi.
We ordered the Pho Bo, Eel, Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Crunchy Salmon sushi, and, because why not, Fried Calamari, plus 2 drinks: Whiskey Sour and Long Island.

Quick reviews:
- Our orders were taken relatively later than we'd expect, considering the restaurant not being packed.
- Pho Bo came with almost no beef in it; good portions, delicious broth, but we had to mine through the noodles to find any meat.
- Sushi was great; the only problem was the seaweed was weirdly too soggy, which made the eating experience rubbery.
- This is mostly on us for getting fried calamari at an Asian restaurant, but the calamari's breading was a bit off-putting. Despite all that, it was good!
- The drinks, no notes. Fantastic. Then again, we didn't get any more than 2.
- Good pricing, nothing much to complain about.

Overall, if all you want is to sit down and have a bowl of pho and maybe something else on the side, this place serves its purpose.“
