“Came here with a group of five and had a great experience. The interior is cozy and perfect for a relaxed meal with friends.
The food was packed with flavor and definitely impressed the whole table.
Lamb and beef kebabs were well spiced; Glass noodles in sesame sauce were a surprising hit—everyone at the table loved them!
The BBQ lamb rack was a standout: incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor.
Great place for group gatherings or casual dining. I’d definitely come back!“

“This is the best Korean eel spot in the east coast. The eel is so fresh and tender... melts right in my mouth and the scallion salad is phenomenal. A couple owns this spot and the auntie here is so generous and nice,, I would come back just for her:) All the side dishes, especially the kimchi and bean sprouts, are made by her personally and I've never had better. This became my go-to spot!“

“Located in front of Paris Baguette, the BBQ truck has some of the best skewers I've ever tried. They transport you to the heart of Xinjiang with its local flavors, grilled in front of you. My two favorites were the lamb and beef skewers, and the chicken skewers were also very delicious.“

“It's pretty nice inside and I like the massive selection that you can choose from. Definitely cool for hanging with friends or a casual date because the vibe is pretty chill. I usually don't have to deal with a wait before being seated and the skewers are great for sharing because they're all bite sized.“
“I recently visited Song Lai Xiang, and it was one of the best Yanbian-style BBQ experiences I’ve had in New York.
The skewers were fresh, well-seasoned, and grilled perfectly. The rotating grill made the meal both fun and effortless, so everyone could relax and enjoy the food without constantly turning the skewers. Beyond the BBQ, the authentic Northeastern Chinese dishes were also excellent and full of flavor.“

“so delicious. got it delivered and arrived hot. got pork belly with mushroom, wagyu, short ribs, lamb pork beef, taiwanese sausages. everything was top notch THE ENTIRE WORLD NEEDS TO TRY TAIWANESE SAUSAGE OVER COAL.“
“Wagyu Place BBQ is one of the more upscale all-you-can-eat Japanese barbecue restaurants in Flushing, specializing in premium wagyu beef, sushi, seafood, and table-side grilling. The restaurant has a modern interior with a lively atmosphere, making it a good choice for groups or special occasions. Unlike most AYCE barbecue spots, the focus here is on higher quality cuts of beef, and the staff regularly comes by to help grill the meat, making the experience feel more polished.
The wagyu is the main reason to visit. The meat is well-marbled, tender, and noticeably better than what you would typically find at standard Korean or Japanese barbecue buffets. Depending on the menu you choose, there is a wide selection of Australian, American, and Japanese wagyu, along with sushi, sashimi, seafood, and other side dishes. Every meal also begins with a cheese lobster, which was rich, creamy, and a nice addition before the barbecue starts. I also appreciated that the portions are generous, so it is better to order gradually instead of trying to sample everything at once.
The dessert selection ended up being one of the biggest surprises. Fresh fruit like pineapple and cantaloupe was exceptionally sweet, and the soft serve and other desserts were a refreshing way to finish such a heavy meal. It helped balance out all of the rich meats, making the meal feel more complete instead of ending on another savory course.
Service was another standout. The staff frequently checked on the table, replaced grills when needed, and helped cook and cut the meat to ensure everything was prepared properly. Since the restaurant is popular, reservations are a good idea during peak dinner hours, although the experience runs smoothly once you are seated.
Overall, Wagyu Place BBQ is one of the stronger premium AYCE barbecue experiences in Flushing. The quality of the wagyu, attentive service, and wide variety of barbecue, sushi, seafood, and desserts help justify the higher price. It is more expensive than a typical barbecue buffet, but if you are looking for a higher-end all-you-can-eat experience centered around quality wagyu, it is worth considering.“

“I had recently left a negative review but the establishment responded that I had the kitchen times incorrect (I did). Anyway, deleted that review and came back again at an earlier time and WHOAAAA so glad I came back. So so so delicious. 100/100. Thank you for this amazing food and experience. 🥰“

“We come here pretty often, and the food is always delicious! This time, we came with our kids, and they were so kind to give them complimentary French fries, which was such a nice gesture. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food never disappoints. We’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend this place — 5 stars!“
“The chicken skewers are delicious. Great late night snack. Not a fan of the beef or lamb skewers—too fatty and chewy for me. The chives are yummy, but too stringy. Owner is super nice.
Update: The beef and lamb skewers, while still somewhat fatty, have tasting better and better.“

“Such a good Yanji-style Chinese BBQ spot with really generous portions. I came here on a crazy rainy day, and the warm charcoal grill and all the food honestly brought me back to life. The beef and lamb were super juicy and tender with that perfect charcoal flavor. The crispy pork was sweet, tangy, and surprisingly crunchy, and I also loved the spicy pig feet for that bouncy texture. The Dongbei Da La Pi was another favorite, with chewy noodles, cucumber, and beef in a rich sesame and vinegar sauce. Everything tasted fresh and comforting. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving authentic Yanji-style BBQ!“

“I come here often because everything is just consistently amazing. They prepare live eel fresh on the spot, and all the side dishes are homemade by the owner. Nothing is too salty, and they’re so delicious that I even asked if they sell them separately.
Today I came for the pork belly, and this place is truly a hidden gem for samgyeopsal. The meat quality is excellent, and the owner couple is incredibly kind. The music is great too—it’s the kind of place that makes you want to have a drink.
When the food is good, you naturally keep coming back, and this restaurant absolutely delivers. I highly, highly recommend it!“

“Hands down our favorite BBQ skewer street vendor in Flushing. Their flavors are consistently better than other stalls we’ve tried. Service is excellent too, everyone is friendly and happy to help set up tables or rearrange chairs for families when needed. Casual outdoor seating gives the place a fun street food vibe. While it’s a bit farther from the Main St, Roosevelt Ave and Prince St area, we always make the walk because their food is worth it. One small downside is that sidewalks can get overcrowded during busy times and traffic can be noisy, but it’s all part of the lively atmosphere so we’ll definitely be back!“

“I ordered Mackerel Ssam, and it had a lot of colorful vegetables, so it looked good and tasted good. I tried it once and it was so delicious that I keep thinking about it!
Spicy ecological hot pot popular in winter
The more you eat it, the more refreshing the spicy taste becomes.
Stir-fried wood ear mushrooms, seasoned spinach, pickled red peppers, seasoned bean sprouts, kimchi, seasoned perilla eggplant, stir-fried anchovies and beans.
It's light, nutritious, and full of fresh vegetables, so you can eat a full bowl of rice just by eating it as a side dish.
Fresh pork, chewy meat, savory flavor
Feeling full after eating“

Amazing prices for the amazing quality. If you get the chance, I highly recommend you give it a try. I had amazing experience and you might too.
Vegetarian options: They have excellent options for non meat skewers.
Kid-friendliness: They're so kind when my kid ordered by themselves.“

“My opinion is 8.7/10. Overall good time. Bonchon hit right, over 5 choices. Meat was tender and flavorful. Well priced at $45 for galbi and sides. The service was selective but the person serving me up the galbi was great. Check out my in depth video reviews on any of the platforms below. “Authentic and satisfying Dongbei comfort food! The dumplings were juicy and handmade, the skewers were full of flavor with a great variety (lamb, tofu skin, tripe — all seasoned with classic cumin and chili), and the sour cabbage pork hotpot was warm and comforting. We also loved the cold noodles with cucumber and kimchi, plus tasty sides like stir-fried napa cabbage and grilled garlic chives. Everything tasted just like a hearty homemade meal from my home city“

“Peking BBQ is a good spot if you’re looking for Chinese-Peruvian style food. The food has always been delicious every time I’ve gone, and I’ve never had a real complaint about the taste or portions.
You place your order, wait for your number to be called, and sometimes there is a wait, but the food is worth it. The service is fast-paced and straight to the point, which is pretty normal for a busy spot like this.
The dining/seating area could use a little more attention and can feel a bit rough around the edges, but everyone minds their business, and the main reason to come here is the food.
Overall, not the fanciest place, but the food is definitely good and worth coming back for.“

“I’ve been coming to Jindalai in Flushing for a long time, and it never disappoints. The BBQ skewers are made with high-quality ingredients, and the beef tendon skewers are a must-try. Their goat soup is my absolute favorite—it’s the best I’ve had, and I order it every visit. Sometimes I even stop by just for a bowl of soup. The young waiter is always friendly, welcoming, and provides great service. I’ve also tried many of their stir-fried dishes, and every one has been delicious. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Highly recommend!“
“Really good, the spices and seasoning are strong enough and it’s like $2 a skewer with so many options. I always get the lamb, the potatoes (which taste like seasoned chips), and other meats. The fish balls are soft on the inside, with a roasted crust on the outside - actually good too! It’s also spicy too, but not too spicy (probably like pickled jalapeño level?)“

“This experience was particularly good, 80 points. In particular, cauliflower is too salty and beef tendon is extremely hard, but grilled gluten, squid tentacles, kelp knots, eggplant, rice cakes, and enoki mushrooms are extremely delicious.“

“Wow wow wow, so glad my girlfriend took me here for dinner tonight. We dined outdoors, which is where most customers preferred to eat actually. I was told there are live performances on the weekend, which I am excited about. They serve great dishes and skewers and the atmosphere is amazing. You’re basically camping out under a large tent and enjoying food and drinks with family or friends. It does get hot, since only large fans are running, so if you’re not into that, stay indoors. If not, I suggest you gather a group and enjoy outdoor dining because it’s a great vibe“
“I was craving for skewers and wanted to dine in instead of getting it from the street carts. Was seated immediately by the friendly staff. They offer traditional skewers and stir fry items. It was not fully packed which was great, because I was hungry. They cook all the items for you and bring it straight ti your table. Flavor of the food was really great, super affordable and really authentic. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a late night snack. Definitely will be back!“

“My wife loves spicy food, and she absolutely loved this place. The spice here is not the artificial, capsaicin-heavy heat that many restaurants use. Instead, it has the authentic deep and rich spiciness that reminds us of traditional Korean red peppers from Korea. It is seriously spicy — in the best way possible!
Normally, I rarely revisit the same restaurant twice, but SGD Tofu & Grill has become a place we visit once or twice every week.
The kindness of the staff makes the food taste even better. They gladly refilled our side dishes four times, and every single banchan was delicious. Even the water stood out — instead of plain cold water, they serve warm tea, which adds such a comforting and traditional touch.
Everything here feels clean, thoughtful, authentic, and welcoming. The amazing food combined with the warm hospitality keeps bringing us back again and again.“
“We were visiting Flushing and noticed this food truck when we walked by a few times after 5:30pm-6pm. Finally had a chance to try it and wished that we did it sooner, not on the last night of our trip. The name is labeled incorrectly and should be Ajiang BBQ instead. He took his time with the bbq, the seasoning was right on and spicy! Most items are $2 with some at market price. We tried the squid ($5) and really delicious! Give him a try and you’ll be glad that you do. Starts at 6pm though.“
“Im a loyal fan of this spot. it's 24 hours no frill late night joint with authentic Korean food and xinjiang bbq skewers.
my favorite is that it's ONLY booth seating and the waiters do not bother you until you hit the call button. great for those who want conversation and privacy.
it's also open 24 hours and it's not busy on weekdays so stay as long as you like. I love the unlimited hot tea refills.“
