“This is a store I sometimes stop by when I think of it. The view is nice and the LA galbi and soft tofu are delicious. The young female staff member, whom I've never seen before, is very friendly, so I'm leaving a review. May you prosper..“
“I'll start with the breathtaking panoramic views!!!! What a stunning restaurant!!!! If you are not familiar with what to order off of a Korean menu, just ask for recommendations. From start to finish what an excellent dining experience! Right before theBilly Joel concert, very fitting to have a bottle of red & a bottle of white! If you're in the K-Town area 1250 Broadway to be exact, go straight to the penthouse!!!!“
“Best Korean bbq in the area. The quality of the meat is consistently phenomenal and better yet, the service is the best in the city. They are attentive, polite, efficient and friendly. I’ve been going here since they opened over the years, and I always look forward to my visits. I highly recommend this place of high quality meat, side dishes, and stews.“
“Was in the NY for the weekend visiting family from FL. Always wanted to try Korean BBQ and this place came up. Absolutely loved it. There was 7 of us walking around and they fit us right in. We ordered the 5-6 meal and 2 appetizers. And it was Plenty for everyone. Half way thru the meal my 10yr old leans over and tells me. "This is the best night of my life." He's a foodie. But check them out you should not be disappointed. Great job guys.“
“The noodle is very good. Love the combo which comes with Wonton noodle soup, Portuguese Tart, and a a lemon iced tea. There is not much service. It is like a canteen hall. You buy and bring your food to a seating area. They keep the service fast, and the place clean.Overall, a wonderful place to have a quick warm hearty meal!“
“It was the most delicious and Korean restaurant I had in New York. I was very grateful to the owner for continuing to take care of me and provide good service. It's a shame I found out the day before I had to return home, but I really recommend it to anyone who plans to visit in the future.“
“Great food, friendly staff. This would’ve been 5 stars but once i gave my phone number to their front desk to wait in the queue to be seated I started receiving spam texts from all over the country. Their system is compromised or they are selling our phone numbers.“
“We made a reservation a few weeks in advance which was a simple and easy process. Once arrived, we were sat down quickly. The food was incredible. The wagyu was cooked very well and the sides were delicious as well. Service was great except our first reorder of food took some time.Overall, it was a great experience. We will be back.“
“The food is great and the prices are reasonable for NYC. I highly recommend everything on the menu. I agree with their statement that everything is tasted twice a day and cooked to perfection. Everytime I come, the food gets better and better! I would highly recommend the food and drinks to my family and friends!“
“I'm ashamed I haven't tried this local gem earlier! Food was delish...Brazilian cheesy bread, fried cheese with a guava dip, and fish tacos. They brought us over a lovely passion fruit dessert on the house as well. The owner was more than accommodating and him and his staff made sure that we were one hundred percent satisfied with everything! Definitely recommend!“
“4.3 stars. Need street meat? Good lamb (lean and not gamey) and pork (Chinese roast pork belly with the crispy skin) skewers. The shakey-shakey was not that spicy but a bit too salty. The prices are rising too fast and it’s starting to be not a good value. It was a rainy Sunday 6pm so no line.Vegetarian options: 10 vegetarian skewer options.“
“Food is good but they raised their prices and it's only worthwhile if you can get them to actually bring the dishes you order. Sometimes we have difficulty getting orders in even when they're not that busy. Still, very solid place.“
“We were a party of 8 and had a great experience. Entrance was busy and fun at the same time. You have to take an elevator to the actual restaurant. But once you get to the restaurant floor it will definitely blow you away. Great food great service and great atmosphere. Prices are actually very decent and the servings are very filling. I had a great time. I will definitely be going back. Thank you for the great food and great service.“
“What a great Korean bbq restaurant. We were visiting the city and happy to find this restaurant. The quality of food was great and the service was amazing. Kevin was our server and we had a good conversation while they cooked the bbq for us. Would definitely recommend this place.“
“Absolutely outstanding hot pot experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The selection of ingredients was vast and fresh, ensuring there was something for everyone's taste. The broth was flavorful and aromatic, making every bite a delight. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff catering to our every need. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone craving authentic and delicious hot pot.“
“I love Anytime because the vibe is a bit more fancier than other regular pochas you would go to in Fort Lee or Palisades Park. The servers are always nice and attentive. The food is top notch. If you order the honey makgeolli (rice wine) the servers will slice up real honey and put it in your glass.“
“The food, ambiance, and service was phenomenal. Our waiter Hira heroically saved us from the flames, gave us princess treatment, was respectful and gave us extra marshmallows and napkins. We highly recommend this place and hope his dreams come true!!“
“Some of the most tender chicharrones I've ever had. I wanted to try their beef ribs but unfortunately they were out of stock when we got there. We went on a Saturday night and they played live Latin music so the overall ambiance was dope. I will be back to try the beef ribs. The pork ribs were seasoned and tender to perfection. Cool spot for BBQ lovers!!!“
“Wonderful dining experience at Omur’s Mediterranean Cuisine at 59 Ann (by the One World Trade center.). Food is fantastic, authentic, and fast, and the chef and staff here are humble and sweet. Good food, great people, convenient location, and wonderful experience. We thoroughly enjoyed it! 5-star for sure.“
“4 1/2 stars would be my review if I could but given the inability to do so, I will round up for the level of service we received overall.Really enjoyed our meal at Atti. Decor was warm and inviting. Ordered the chef's selection for 4. We all enjoyed the nice array of banchan and side dishes, plus the meats were perfectly prepared and we were well taken care of throughout the meal.Disliked being charged for extra lettuce. With the very generous refilling of banchan throughout the meal, felt petty when you are spending $100+ a person. Also, the bingsoo at the end was just a scoop of lemon italian ice, not traditional bingsoo (as seen in the photos). Have to say that was disappointing. We were expecting actual shave ice, which our kids would have loved as a dessert. This was more the palate cleanser type of ice you get in between meals during a tasting menu. All that said, really nice to have a high quality Korean bbq in Brooklyn. On a night when we aren't willing to schlep to midtown or fight for a challenging reservation, we would happily return.“
“My favorite place to come after work feels like home my favorite is congee and pork belly over rice and the pork buns it’s all delicious try it for yourself.Vegetarian options: From steam dim sum Buddha delight, spicy mushroom dumplings to mixed mushroom noodle soup even vegetables spring rolls it’s all good to eat.Dietary restrictions: They have many options of food from vegetarian, vegan to carnivorous all can enjoyKid-friendliness: My kids love the pork buns from here they ask me to bring them home dailyWheelchair accessibility: Single floor no steps“
“We were looking for a Korean BBQ that allowed bookings and wasn’t too overpriced. This is it.If you don’t mind the matter in which the seating works, ie you need to climb into your seat, then this place is great. The bbq options are extensive, thou more pork options wouldn’t go a miss. The service is a little manic but it’s what you come to expect in a place like this in the heart of KoreaTown. The martinis were good, so much so we had severalOur only real negative point was the noise levels. Hard to hear each other.“
“The quality (of the food), atmosphere (elegant and modern), and service of this restaurant are top notch. Step into this place and it’s as you’re transported to a restaurant at a fancy Seoul neighborhood. Dinner for 3 cost us $150 which was great value given the quality, atmosphere and service provided. For example, one of our dish was grilled clams and we were blown away by their size. They were gigantic, abundant and FRESH! The patrons were all locals and some families. Will definitely return.Parking: The restaurant has a free parking lot. There's also paid/unpaid (depending on the day/time) street parking, right in front of the restaurant.“
“Would definitely recommend this place for a good hang. Staff were helpful and timely. They explained the process to us well. The portion sizes are controlled so that there’s less waste- they are very on top on bringing your order out. They also have a hot bar for appetizers and a make your own sauce bar. Their cream puffs are ?!! The thing I liked also is the fact that you can order meat, chicken, seafood, and veggies- all of it- to your heart’s desire. They also have a good selection of drinks. Would recommend: the lycheetini and pineapple painkiller. Would definitely be coming back for the hotpot next time.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options, however, it is cooked on the same surface as the meat. So it comes down to personal preference.“
“Another slam dunk. I've eaten at Don Don twice (and planning to go more soon!) and the cuts of dry aged pork, side dishes and black sesame ice cream is immaculate. Staff is super attentive and friendly as well.If it's your first time, definitely try out the dry age pork tasting. I've also eaten at a handful of KBBQ joints at NJ and although this isn't all you can eat, I left Don Don feeling just as full and satisfied. Will definitely swing by again in the near future after work!“
“Seriously the best kbbq in ktown, everytime I come great food and service. Even if you do not like intestines they have traditional kbbq options like porkbelly and beef shortribs. We got the classic and marinated assorted intestines, and the spicy grilled chicken as a side, all amazing!!!“
“It was a really nice experience with all of my friends last night. We went out as a group of six and made a reservation ahead of time. I like that the menu was on the phone and so that we could continuously see the menu so that we could keep ordering food when we wanted to. I love the all you can eat, and some of the little special items on the menu or a great addition as well. It was really busy but the ambience was nice. I’ve been to the one in Brooklyn and now I’ve been to the one in Chinatown Manhattan and both experiences were really great and I enjoyed both times out.“
“After eating a piece of meat, tears streaming down both cheeks... Bring it back!!This is a meat restaurant that makes real men cry!For me, snail rice wine and a piece of meat... It was the same feeling as her approaching me in spring, when all things are coming back to life...“
“I’ve been wanting to visit this place for a while, and I must say I’m glad I finally got to go. Service and food were really good (one waiterwas a bit quirky iykyk) They first offer ban Chan and the kimchi was very sweet for my liking. We ordered cocktails which were great and I ordered the katsu kimchi fried rice, visually it looks great and it tasted good too. Definitely would recommend this place.“
“Giving it a 5 due to..- Alabama white wings- Chicken sandwich- Fried chickenwhich were all amongst the best chicken dishes we've ever eaten. However, the BBQ was actually pretty disappointing and we'd never order that again. We had ribs (very dry) and brisket (underwhelming).Decor, service, wine were all solid too.It was the chicken, however, that truly made Blue Smoke memorable for us.“
“Stopped in here to look at the menu, but ended up getting the sampler and the Yakitori burnt ends which were amazing! There's a great selection of food, which we can't wait to try out, will definitely come back again hungry! Owner is awesome and atmosphere is so homey.“
“This is an amazing restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. When I travel to NYC, this is the first restaurant I go to. I recommend this restaurant to everyone because the food is just so good! I come here once a year and I've never been disappointed. It's so worth the money.“
“The restaurant has two floors, the top one is nicer and has booths. The menu is pretty extensive, the BBQs can be self cooked or they will cook it for you in the kitchen. Food is delicious, drinks are good too. Service is excellent, the ambiance is ok, not too fancy but nice. We've been there many times and enjoy it every visitParking: Street parking available, both free and metered, Sunday is easier then Saturday, evening usually works too with availability of spots“
“After visiting the Museum of Moving Image in Astoria we walked up the block and had a nice lunch at Pig Beach BBQ. My husband and I split the sampler platter which we both enjoyed. My favorite was the pulled pork and my husband’s favorite was the ribs.We were both surprised that it was more of a cafeteria style set up instead of sit down. To me that was probably the only drawback. But it was a very laid back casual atmosphere which a lot of people may find appealing.“
“Hao noodle not just provides noodles but some really authentic Chinese dishes like sautéed eggplant with garlic sauce; sautéed sole fish in clay pot; stir fried vermicelli with prawn in XO sauce which are hardly find in Chinatowns. Great environment and highly recommended this place.“
“Eating here was a really fun and interesting experience for me and my family who are not really used to Korean food. There were different kind of side dishes that came when we ordered the bbq set which was refilled whenever we finished it. The overall food and service was really great and my family really enjoyed eating here.“
“We had an amazing dinner at the chefs table. The food was really good and they went above and beyond to accommodate a person in our party with dietary restrictions. The drinks were delicious and the service was great overall no complaints and will definitely return.“
“The staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming. This was my first experience doing Japanese Style BBQ where a server helps prepare the meat for you, and they made the experience very special. Both the server and the chef, who was preparing the cuts of meat for us in an open style serving area, would introduce the cut and the kind of sauce or condiment it goes well with, while giving enough time for us to chat and eat before coming back with the next round of cuts. Overall the service, cuts of meat, quality, atmosphere, and service were excellent and I can’t wait to go back again!“
“Slightly hard to write this review as I arrived a bit late to the meal. I went here months upon months ago. Not knowing that this was part of Dun Huang, I thought I went to the wrong restaurant but it turned out it was one and the same which was surprising. I was here with a group of nine others. As I arrived a bit late, the soup dumplings had already been there a while but they were still of very good quality. My favorite of the night was the Salted Egg Yolk & Shrimp Stir-Fried Rice Cakes. The texture of the rice cakes were perfect and the egg yolk complimented it well. I also liked the Dry Fried Shredded Eel & Chives. I also would have preferred them less shredded as I couldn't taste much of the eel texture but the sauce was nice and the blend with the chives added some good depth. The Fried Dough Twist Spicy Chicken or Laziji with Mahua was also surprisingly spicy for a restaurant which is primarily Shanghainese now so I guess they still have some influence from the old Dun Huang. I've had it before with these dough twists from the excellent Peppercorn Station and these rivaled that place even though the chicken there was a bit pricier but then again there was larger pieces of chicken in the latter. The Fish Fillets in Sour Cabbage Soup was also pretty solid as well as the Grilled Lamb Kebabs. You can essentially see Andie's review for the rest of my thoughts as they essentially reiterate hers. Yes it was too hot inside and as I was rushing to get there, I got warmer than most but oh well. Would go back but maybe go during the fall or winter if the AC isn't fixed yet. Mid 4“
“We ate here for a late lunch. We had the hotpot and bbq. The restaurant was clean and modern. We had a language barrier with our waitress but that didn’t make the experience bad and we were able to get all we wanted by the photos on the menu. We got 4 different individual hotpot’s to try. They were good but the vegetable one I was not a fan of but would be perfect for a vegetarian. The food was delicious and I would eat here again when we come back to visit again. This is a must try place.“
“Flavors were amazing. Loved the Tangy Sauce that gave it a bit of a hit. I love japchae, but it is so much prep chopping everything. lol. The flavors were spot on and it was super quick. I left feeling super satisfied. My daughter and I shared it, as the portion was large enough for 2!“
“My coworker can to work today and we started talking about good tasting food, so she stated"have you ever taste John Brown BBQ, she made it sound so delicious that we decided to go after work. She couldn't wait to get the cornbread. Long story short... we went and when I tell you everything was delicious... I mean everything was delicious ? lol nice cozy atmosphere, not too pricey. Friendly host AND within walking distance ( i don't have to keep going to Wendy's and the neighborhood deli.. so... moving along i brought an order of burnt brisket. Collards greens ( that S#×t was Delicious oops excuse me in getting off track.lol. I got the ribs and the cornbread. I was planning on sharing with my daughter but I'll get her next time. Lol by the way I don't do reviews “
“Whether part of a group or on a solo visit, welcome is given. The staff are attentive, engaging, friendly and humorous. They truly make an effort to ensure that the customers return. The kitchen is tiny, yet the food is tasty.Dietary restrictions: When you share your dietary restrictions with the staff, they listen and advise which dishes are suitable. It is a relief to be heard and accommodated.“
“I couldn't take a picture because I was busy eating. The best raw ribs I've had since coming to the US! It's extremely delicious. People who like meat will like thicker meat. The meat is thick and soft, has a good chew and is full of juice. Not a single flaw. It's not a soju restaurant, it's a rib restaurant. Lastly, I enjoyed the clam sauna and ate kalguksu (noodle soup) in cool clam soup. It's been 7-8 years since I stopped eating kalguksu, cold noodles, and japchae to cut out carbohydrates, but this soup isn't one I can tolerate because it's low in carbohydrates. I ate all the delicious radish radish without any regrets. I promise to try yukhoe sometime soon. Photos were uploaded then. ?“
“Great experience! Came here to try their items and they were generously giving out a tray with variety of traditional Korean food like bulgogi, Kim chi, spicy pork with rice to try for free with small little sweet rice cakes. It was so delicious with generous portions, the staff were very friendly and made sure everyone felt welcomed & taken care of!“
“If you have been eating the average to good burgers for a while, take one bite of a burger at Mel's and your tastebuds will remember what a real burger tastes like!Perfection in qualityFat to beef ratioTasteFreshnessTexturePreparationNot full of salt , just the taste good beef.“
“The restaurant is warm and cozy vibes. We were there on Monday around 3pm without reservations and we got the table right away. The meat quality was amazing. They side dishes was great too. We opted for Modeum So Gui which is beef platter for 2. The amount was perfect. Beef tartare was really tasty. The server was nice and friendly.“
“I find myself loving this place more and more, not only is the food great but the owners are AMAZING!!! It’s black owned, and the love they put in their food just keeps me coming back everytime I’ve had to come to Harlem. The fried foods are made fresh to order which is what you would hope for, and everything else is on point. Exactly what I be hoping for when I crave soul food. Must try!!“
“We loved our first Japanese barbecue experience! EM made us feel like at home and was our grill master, making sure our meat was cooked to perfection. We liked all cuts of meat except the spicy pork which had a strange taste. All other dishes like the broccoli with cheese fondue , house salad, gyozas and the miso soup were great. The dessert was a chocolate fondant with green tea ice cream - also very good! We paid 120 including tips and walked out of there very satisfied. Will definitely come back.“
“????????????????The food is delicious. The service is perfect. They make you feel at home. You want some really good ribs, check this place out. You won’t be disappointed. The onion rings and potatoe salad is insane as well. ????????????????“
