The staff is always friendly and accommodating, This is the best BBQ in NYC area… The expertise they apply to the Pulled Pork and Burnt Ends not to mention the Mac & cheese and cornbread is outstanding.
Been going ever since the first location opened. Same great food..same great staff! Parking can be a touch more challenging than at was at the 44th drive location.. but a few quick turns around the block usually net you a parking space in reasonable time. Beer selection was better at 44th dr also but there is always 4 beer selection of well known brands and 4 from local breweries.

My coworker can to work today and we started talking about good tasting food, so she stated"have you ever taste John Brown BBQ, she made it sound so delicious that we decided to go after work.
