I love this place
Cute place with good prices and decent serving sizes
This was my first time having chinese bbq and 10/10 will go again to check out the chicago location as it's closer to where I live. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy. Just to be aware of the barbecue station, because you can totally burn yourself if you aren't careful 😂 my ex-friend lost a skewer in the flames and i had to use my chop sticks to get it out.

Chubby Skewers Authentic Chinese BBQ offers a unique, fun, and hip atmosphere with a self-serve grilling concept. There are many different types of wagyu skewers for $1.40 each skewer. The seasoning is truly good and went beyond expectations, with a great variety of skewers, super fresh and well seasoned meat, and appetizers made to order. However, the amount of meat per skewer is very little when fully cooked, and the floor is kinda dirty and slippery, with the bathroom not very clean. Service is good, super convenient, and the interior is cozy. Guests can enjoy free wifi and beer while grilling. A specific server is noted as amazing, fantastic, and delightful for helping with questions.
