“I came here for dinner and the experience was amazing. The staff were nice, I asked for a new cup because mine was dirty and they were really accommodating. The food was the best part, I would highly recommend the marinated beef and the combo platter. We will definitely be coming back.“

“I came here for the 1st time during restaurant week & I cannot wait to return back to try the rest of the menu. The staff & atmosphere was friendly & welcoming, you could tell locals come all the time. Everything I ordered was tasty, but the star of the show was my main entree, Moqueca (Brazilian fish stew with tomatoes, pepper, onions & coconut milk) - It was both comforting and flavorful. The fish was cooked to perfection (soft, tender & flaked easily with my fork), the coconuts milk stew was rich & robust in flavor, with a smooth enough consistency to coat your spoon. In summary, it was chefs kiss! ?“
“Food is good but they raised their prices and it's only worthwhile if you can get them to actually bring the dishes you order. Sometimes we have difficulty getting orders in even when they're not that busy. Still, very solid place.“
“Great lil Izakaya! The staff are extremely friendly and hospitalable, the food is delicious, the portion sizes are very generous, and a combination can be made if asked in advance.Definitely get the cheese corn and put some sweet soy sauce on it... And ask for the sweet and spicy sauce on the side, it makes any dish 50 times better lol. There's two other locations in New York, apparently one is in Manhattan, I'm not a local so I can't remember where the other location is... Either way I'm coming back to the Flushing location as I just really love the atmosphere, the location, and the staff...If you see the owner, tell them that the Black nerdy girl from Mississauga recommended the place and said to say hi ?“
“We went late night and really liked the food, beef, lamb, squid skewers were all very flavorful but not overly spicy. Draft beer was very good. It took a while to get out ramen stir fry, but it was pretty tasty! The lamb skewers are pretty big, so don't order too many at first “
“this is one of the best food places in flushing. we come here every time we visit new york and always get numerous lamb skewers. the skewers are so flavorful and extremely juicy. along with the spiciness, it makes a perfect combination and a true jewel of flushing.lamb skewer (9.5/10)“
“my favorite place to eat. i eat here multiple times a week the food is so good. my gameplan is always start off with a fatty cut of meat like pork jowl or thin brisket and ask for lots of onion, liberally salt the meat and onion and let all the fat render and rub the onion and meat across the pan to get the flavor all over. all your meat afterwards will have an amazing flavor“
“I picked up my order for take out. The food was ready very quickly. The order included 1/2 chicken, burnt ends, baked beans, and corn bread. All were wonderful. The chicken was falling off the bone and the burnt ends were juicy and fell apart easily. Good smoke flavor. All really delicious. Definitely trying again.“
“Slightly hard to write this review as I arrived a bit late to the meal. I went here months upon months ago. Not knowing that this was part of Dun Huang, I thought I went to the wrong restaurant but it turned out it was one and the same which was surprising. I was here with a group of nine others. As I arrived a bit late, the soup dumplings had already been there a while but they were still of very good quality. My favorite of the night was the Salted Egg Yolk & Shrimp Stir-Fried Rice Cakes. The texture of the rice cakes were perfect and the egg yolk complimented it well. I also liked the Dry Fried Shredded Eel & Chives. I also would have preferred them less shredded as I couldn't taste much of the eel texture but the sauce was nice and the blend with the chives added some good depth. The Fried Dough Twist Spicy Chicken or Laziji with Mahua was also surprisingly spicy for a restaurant which is primarily Shanghainese now so I guess they still have some influence from the old Dun Huang. I've had it before with these dough twists from the excellent Peppercorn Station and these rivaled that place even though the chicken there was a bit pricier but then again there was larger pieces of chicken in the latter. The Fish Fillets in Sour Cabbage Soup was also pretty solid as well as the Grilled Lamb Kebabs. You can essentially see Andie's review for the rest of my thoughts as they essentially reiterate hers. Yes it was too hot inside and as I was rushing to get there, I got warmer than most but oh well. Would go back but maybe go during the fall or winter if the AC isn't fixed yet. Mid 4“
“I’ve tried my fair share of ayce bbq, and this is easily the BEST. From the meat selection to the dessert bar, it’s so clear how much thought was put into the curation of this restaurant. The service was, also, just exceptional. We came right before the last seating time, and the staff made it known that we shouldn’t rush ourselves. They guided us through what to try, what tastes best etc. Left here incredibly stuffed with not just food, but also the love of the welcoming staff - will definitely be back! Could not recommend more.“
“*Went on a Saturday*Food came out suspiciously fast, but it was ok, no complaints.*Yes, music is loud - but fun loud, not annoying loud*Music was fun. Live DJ was a fun touch to the vibe*Service was attentive and quick, even as the place packed in*I would say, go for a good time, not a chill relaxing time/ Brunch on a Saturday is more vibrant than that.*Lots of all girl tables, hands up, bottomless mimosas... Def a good time ?“
“This is my third time, and every time the food is served very quickly, and I get sour plum soup every time. I am allergic to beef, so I chose pork belly. The meat quality is very good, very tender, and there are many barbecue toppings. Recommended??“
“This place is such a gem! Price is not bad, and the food is amazing! I don't know what authentic Tibetan food should taste like, but this place is a family-owned business so I would inclined to believe that they serve authentic food. I came here for lunch today at around 1PM. The place was empty but as I began devouring my lunch, more people showed up for a late lunch, and guessing from the language they speak, they are all Tibetans/Himalayans. The menu is not necessarily friendly to non-Tibetans but my server was kind enough to explain menu items. I did also google some of the names of the food to figure out my order. I settled with an appetizer, a dropa khatsa. It's stir fried beef tripe. It's got a hint of curry but not overpowering and it doesn't remind you of Indian food. I The main dish I ordered was the mala dry pot with rice noodle fan (similar to Korean japchae noodles) with beef stomach (beef tripe but the bible tripe kind), fish balls, and mushrooms. The dry pot was spicy but not overly spicy. I caught a hint of Chinese Five Spice in it. Will definitely come back to try more food!“
“Amazing Filipino restaurant in Queens. We ordered tapsilog, tocilog, batangas style lomi and ube coconut bar. They were delicious and very affordable. We also ordered bangsilog to go. THE UBE COCONUT BAR IS SOOOOOO GOOD! Will definitely come back and try the other food on the menu and the ube coconut bar again!!!“
“Came here with my family for the first time, and we were not disappointed. My family and I were very skeptical of this place because of the mixed reviews but this place is definitely worth a shot.Let me start off with the service. The service was probably one of the best service I’ve ever received dining in a restaurant. They’re quick to take your order, food comes out relatively fast, and they are very kind. Constantly asking if we need refills on the side dishes, sauces and beverages was a very good gesture. The meat was all very flavorful and tasty.I can see why some of the meat can come off as bland or “flavorless” but that’s why the sauces come into play.I’ve never tried anything like soy mayo in my life and that sauce was a really big boost in flavor. All the side dishes were also very flavorful as well and my whole family loved it.The atmosphere was also very welcoming with a diverse set of music playing in the background. Ranging from Korean pop all the way to American hip-hop.Definitely will come back and also is worth a try!“
“Yesterday my cousin and I visited this KBBQ restaurant. It was my first experience being able to seriously indulge in Korean BBQ food, and I enjoyed it completely.Mind you, we are black and I was a bit weary on how we would be treated at the establishment. However, everyone working there was super respectful, and boy do they give you a lot of food! Absolutely loved our main two waitresses, wish I knew their names. They did a great job of helping me understand why I was eating as I was curious on the names and type of dishes presented before me. Will definitely be back and I absolutely recommend. ??“
“Food is always excellent. Service is great, and the atmosphere is family oriented. Sometimes they are a few patrons that display disrespect toward others with the use of their cell phones on speaker either when watching videos or having private personal conversations that the rest of the costumers have no need to be subjected to. Management should try to keep a policy of no speaker allowed .“
“10/10- this is one experience you must try in your life. The chicken and complimentary side dishes goes hand in hand. Definitely a bit of a wait for the food, so I do recommend calling a head of time for pick up but it will be worth it. The staff members are so kind and there customer service is beyond ordinary. Very juicy chicken and seasoned perfectly!“
“This restaurant was seriously fantastic! The marinated chicken? Absolutely mouthwatering. And let me tell you, the kalbi marinated steak? It was beyond flavorful and savory, words just don't do it justice. But what really impressed me was how clean the place was, and the staff? They were incredibly friendly and attentive. And with the all-you-can-eat deal, you definitely feel like you're getting your money's worth.“
“I don't think I have ever enjoyed eating intestines more. While I have ordered intestines from other Korean BBQ places. This is the first that I have been to that specializes in it.If you are hesitant about internal organs or just grossed out by it. They do have other meat options available to you, i.e beef and pork. But I firmly believe you are doing yourself an injustice if you don't at least give the intestines a try. They are especially good if you let them crisp up a bit more on the grill. They also make a fried rice for you upon request on your grill that the intestines are served on. I do recommend it if you have the stomach space for it. The fired rice pictured is a serving for 3.My only gripe about this place is the table space. The tables are incredibly small. This becomes apparent when you order more dishes outside of the grill.“
“The staff is friendly, the food is good and a sizable portion. The bar staff is always more than willing to give the customers the remote so they can change the channels to watch a game or show. They also approach the customers and ask if they would like a particular style of music to be played.“
“Ordered the cooper pot lamb and mixed vegetables. It's more than enough for two people. The lamb broth is very tasty and tastes so good that we didn't want to waste any. We almost bottomed up and asked for a container to take the rest broth home. The waiter is warm and friendly, always asking if everything is okay or anything is needed.“
“Craving for some beer, BBQ food, and some traditional Chinese dishes? Friendship BBQ, conveniently located in Flushing, is the right place for you! Staffs here are very professional, attentive, andvery friendly. We sat down and ordered the one-meter skewer set which comes with veggies, beef, lamb, chicken, a couple Harbin beers, and two soft drinks. Order more BBQ meats, sweet and tasty chicken rack, lamb chop soup, and a roasted milk to make your dinner more diversified. The BBQ items aredelicately warmed on their rack ensuring the right temperature. Order more drinks, eat more, have fun, and don’t stop until there’s no more room. “Known as "Party BBQ" in English: Located on Broadway, between 45th Ave & Whitney Ave., in Elmhurst (in front of the Asian Supermarket which has its own parking lot). This BBQ lot has been here for years and has quite a large following. There's always a line of ppl patiently waiting for their BBQ goodness! On this Tuesday evening at around 7:30pm, it was no exception; there were about 8 ppl on line. But don't let that deter you from ordering your BBQ Skewers! The line moves surprisingly quickly. This is a one man show and he was hustling! Kudos to the hardworking gentleman making our BBQ Kebabs, and don't forget to tip him!On this visit, we tried their Beef and Lamb Kebabs ($1.75 each). We asked for the kebabs with cumin and extra spicy. These were so flavorful and delicious! My only complaint is that some pieces were very fatty but very good nonetheless.I will definitely be looking for this cart the next time I'm in the area. Looking forward to trying their other skewers! (See my photos for their menu offerings).“
“First time trying this place, I found this awesome combo deal $9.99 on little red book. I wanted to see what all the hype was all about. The combo came with lamb noodle soup and 5 lamb bbq skewers. This was a great deal and awesome combination. I've had and tried many lamb noodle soup in many places, the favor of lamb is very tricky. As for this soup base it covered the tacky taste of lamb which was a plus on my end. Service was acceptable, they deal is before 5pm, I stopped in around 12pm. They offered warm water, but didn't come out till I finished my meal, due to no hot water. Overall I had a good experience, I definitely would come back and try their other combos.“
“Food here was quite amazing. You want to try to be adventurers when trying new types of food. We arrived with a large part in the back enjoying a fund time. We attempted to try a large portion of the menu. Some items may throw some people off but I wanted to try everything. What we didn’t realize the desert wasn’t on the main menu and by the time we finished our main course the kitchen was closed. Take the train it wasn’t that far from the restaurant. Pork chicken beef fish it alls works well. Various rice dishes were also amazing.Parking: There is free or paid street parking if you can find it. Train ride wasn’t that bad from the 4 train to the 7 train.“
“Good food for a good value. Best KBBQ with good quality, tender meat and authentic flavors. The complementary side dishes are just as good as the main course. I asked the server where they got some of the side dishes and she said they were all made fresh, in-house.“
“i came because my favorite spot was closed but this is now my favorite spot lol. food was AMAZING 10/10 , the ribs are bomb. Rebecca was a sweetheart! she made our drinks at the bar she was very attentive and fast. I am definitely coming here againParking: there was street parking but i was mid day on a weekday, so it might be hard on a weekend. there was a parking lot across the street though .“
“Really great food and dim sum! I've eaten here at least twice a month for the past half a year and I'm always satisfied with the meal. Definitely try the triple meat meal to kind of hash out what meat they make is your favorite (I love them all).Pork buns, dumplings and fish balls are great too. Just do yourself a favor - order!“
“Really good KBBQ place. Meat cuts are high quality and very delicious. Marinated Beef Rib is my favorite item (only on the dinner menu). I would be wary about the intestines at this location. I have had it one time and it was fine but another time the intestines just kind of fell apart on the grill and would rip and tear. Soybean paste stew and egg custard are very delicious, highly recommended. Servers are very attentive and fast in getting you the items that you order. They keep you filled up on water and change out the grill often so you aren't eating burned remnants.“
“It was amazing here the Roast Pig and the Roast Duck are to die for. The food is healthy and hearty as well as delicious. The servers are nice and remember us. I am not Cantonese but I love Cantonese food and this really opened a door deep inside of my soul. Amazing 5/5!“
“Came in at 6pm on a Friday night and it was not busy at all. I think it is more of a late night eat and drink type of place though. The BBQ skewers are perfectly seasoned and the menu is huge! Lots of pictures too, which is super helpful when ordering. Everything was delicious. I especially liked the eggplant and okra.“
“This place is great to have late night meal with friends. Average price for their skewers are about $2 which is alright but they do have cheap beers. We love their bean curd salad. Good and fast service. The place isn't super clean but not too bad.“
“They are (in my opinion) better than other fried chicken spots in the area. The food is good. Not only the chicken but other things like the side dishes as well as some other mains. The place is a little distance away from my place of residence so I drive kind of far to get here. They have a small parking area on the side which is good. Decent size establishment. When I went in I was greeted. He took my order and I asked a few questions about a couple of items and got positive answers. I went back a second and third time. That means I liked it. Thank you.“
“Ordered delivery. Got burnt ends, brisket sandwich, pork sandwich, and chicken strips.Boy am I surprised! This brings me back to the days of when I was a young boy in the south enjoying BBQ on a porch. My favorites were the pork sandwich and burnt ends. The burnt ends were especially wonderful and reminded me of the best burnt ends I've ever had.I feel like the flavors are on the lighter side compared to more modern BBQ establishments. Some foodies may criticize this but to me this is what properly cooked BBQ in the South should taste like. Mind you there are many categories of BBQ and this is a quite specific one that is done really well. This place is definitely going on my list of nostalgia inducing favorites.Edit: ordered the Mac and cheese and had to come back to update ya'll on how good it is. Mac and cheese purists be warned there is a very thin layer of chili, then crusted cheese and real bacon bits. They also bake it in the tray that gets delivered and may be one of the best delivery items I have ever ordered. Would recommend.“
“A group of us came here for dinner on a Saturday night and didn't have to wait long for a table!Service was amazing and they offer an assortment of meats you can think one- including my fav, kalbi!! There's also melted cheese, fried rice, ice cream!! Not sure what the time limit was but they didn't rush us at all which we appreciated because some places are not nice about it.Will run you about $50 after tip and tax! Gratuity was auto added for us at 20% for a party size over 10.“
“Came here for lunch with my mom a few weeks ago. We ordered Salt and Pepper Squid and it came out piping hot but too bready and not enough flavor. The. Duck Congee was okay it just needed some seasoning. The beef chow fun and Cambodian noodle soup had great flavor and we thoroughly enjoyed those. Our server was great and attentive. We would come back again but not order the squid.“
“I can’t describe how amazing the food and staff were ! The person who I believe was the manager was very attentive and mad us laugh so much. The person who was cooking our meat tonight was also super friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to all of my friends. Thank you so much SSAM TONG !!!!“
