“Korean marinated crabs, shrimp, abalone and other more tradition dishes as well as a seafood tower. The bagged drinks were good, but preferred the simple sweet rice drink. The place is packed and smells great, but pretty loud. Gloves are provided to handle the marinated items, also ordered pork stew, rice chirashi and pancakes. Ok service, a bit lagging to get the bill and pay.“
“It was an amazing experience where you really felt the intentionality behind the food and the knowledge from Chef Kim. It's not often where you get to have a Michelin meal that satisfies both your intellectual and physical hunger. It was great having an intimate experience, being able to ask questions and learn about traditional Korean cooking and fermentation methods. You'll definitely leave healthier than when you came in 😁.“

“Ordered takeout from Don Chicken on Northern Blvd and went for the Spicy Soy Garlic Chicken and it did not disappoint. The pieces were pretty big, juicy inside, and had that trademark Korean fried chicken crunch: thin, shatter-crispy, never greasy. The soy garlic glaze was spot on savory, garlicky, with just enough kick to keep me reaching for another bite.
I also tried the Sweet & Spicy flavor not bad at all, just leaned sweeter than what I usually like.
What I really appreciate is how Korean fried chicken is different from the fried chicken most of us grew up with. Instead of a thick, heavy batter, it’s double-fried a method that actually came about in Korea in the 1960s and 70s when fried chicken started getting popular alongside beer (“chimaek,” short for chicken + maekju/beer, is now a whole culture). That double fry gives you the crunch without the grease, and the sauces like this soy garlic add layered flavor instead of just salt and breading.
For takeout, it traveled well too the chicken stayed crisp even by the time I got home, which tells you they’re doing it right. Generous portions, bold flavor, and that authentic K-fried crispness make the spicy soy garlic the clear winner for me.“

“NO BATHROOM!!!
The food is great we love coming here regularly. The host is always cold towards us, she’s much more polite towards other Koreans, could be a language barrier. The Resturant is always cold temperature wise, wear your jacket.“

“A little hole-in-the wall Korean joint near the 7 train/LIRR stop in Woodside Queens. I stop there a couple of times a week after work to pickup dinner. There aren’t any sit-down tables, but the food more than makes up for it. The classic Korean dishes are delicious and satisfying. I love how generous they are with the veggies. Everything is fresh and homemade. The people here are always so kind and welcoming too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, no-frills, tasty Korean food!“

“the place is cute and gives a very homey vibe but the server is a lil slow and not very attentive.
i enjoyed the spicy rose rice cakes and the tofu spicy pork with kimchi. they were delicious. i will say the kimchi stew was not it. it was soo salty and lacking flavor. not sure if it was an off day or just not good but it was not edible at all. we did not attempt to finish it after trying a sip. i would come back for the rice cakes and give the udon a try because they sound delicious.“

“Came here over the holidays with my family and it was pleasant surprise. I tried many Korean barbecue spots, but this one was fantastic especially if you get the sirloin. I would highly recommend the duck as well.
Service is fantastic.
They do a great job cooking it for you on the table.
We’ll be back again next year“

“I wasn’t a big fan of pork belly before I found this restaurant. I highly recommend to try their pork belly. So good, so good, I LOVE IT!!!!!!
Every time we went there, we ordered at least four plates of pork belly, I never get tired of their pork belly. Kimchi is great too! The fired rice , the way the mixed the ingredients is so perfect to eat as the last meal of that moment. Also, the way the set up their grill pan makes me feel like they are taking me back to retro korean bbq spot in Kdrama.“

“Great mom and pop Korean restaurant. Always feels like home when I step in. They give great variety of Bonchon and I absolutely love their naengmyeon. Perfect soup base and noodles with the right bounce every time. The aunties who run the restaurant are so incredibly nice too. Been coming here for years and its never missed“
“Brand new. When I walked in, they informed me they just opened the day prior. They even had trouble navigating some of the prices on the register, but overall, were very helpful and nice. They have an area just for side dishes, and some main dishes in the middle. When I came, they were still cooking, so the ideal time to go is around 12:30 - 1:00 to see what they have to offer.“

“Posting review while enjoying the food. This place is amazing. Freshly-made kimbap, generous portions for an amazing price, and excellent miso soup. Really had mom and pop shop feel with actual Koreans running it (not that that should matter per se). Everyone behind the counter was so sweet, too. We had the vegetarian and mushroom kimbaps (latter has fish cake) to meet the $10 minimum for paying by credit card, both were very satisfying.
For the price and quality and just the feel of supporting a local shop, I definitely want to come back often.“

“One of the great restaurants in NY. We always order the spicy yukaejang beef soup and ask for it mild. So they add their famous beef bone broth to it which makes it the best in town. We also always order the bibimbap in stone pot, making crispy rice edges. Our cravings for these dishes come about once a month!“

“This has been a pleasant experience and we were welcomed and taken care of by the staffs in here.
Good
The food is nice, meat is fresh and not too strong. The soup and banchan all have authentic korean taste
They offer free refill banchan and rice so its nice and filling enough if you are heavy eater. All side dishes are not bad so why not?
The servers are nicely taken care of us, help us with grilling, and also always update with us about the meat and everything.
Bad
The staff tried to upsell us the more expensive combo but we didn’t really need it. Have to verbally decline twice is kinda awkward.
The price is high for sure, but you can’t ask cheaper for such performance - because they truly invested in the food and services. Just say that its not for every day visit for low income .
Just visit here for special occasion, when you want to be treated nicely and eat good food. I hope the business will be there always.“

“Can't beat 3 servings for 2 deal on the marinated pork rib kbbq. They were extremely sweet and accommodating for our children. They cooked the meat at a separate table next to us so that out table wouldn't be too hot and smokey for the young kids.“

“Came here on a weekday for business and stopped by for lunch. Ordered Galbi tang and Dolsot bibimbab. I was surprised how good the food was since it is located in a food court and usually food court food is not so great. It was restaurant grade food. Person taking the order was very nice.
The only issue would be not related to the food, but the food court . The bathroom was so gross. 🤢
Go for the food, but skip the barhroom trip if possible.“

“Having passed this little gem many times while on romantic journeys into Flushing , I finally checked it out last evening ( 8/8/25) after dropping my lady off at home ....... and was I ever in for a pleasant surprise ! ........ I was absolutely charmed by the three little ladies who served me in this most gentle , accommodating and genuinely " East Asian " venue of the innumerable choices one has on Northern Boulevard ; in my many restaurant reviews, this the first time I've led off with such a remark . Ordering Japchae ( sweet potato noodles with shredded beef and vegetables ) so as to have something authentically Korean, the size of the entree was really eye opening , with the large serving plate heaped with far too much for one sitting...... and was it ever delicious ! Requests for one item or another were courteously and immediately met : how nice it was to have Jasmine tea with a meal ! ...... Seating was very comfortable, tables were well spaced, lighting perfect for reading, the music soft, the lavatory immaculate . One must use street parking, but Japchae fronts on a clean , safe little Asian neighborhood, so this should not be a concern ........ Does this place have some rough edges ? Yes , several : faucets need fixing and some chairs could use reupholstering , but at least everything is clean ! ...... Service ( my first consideration) , food quality, comfort and value matching or exceeding some much fancier establishments, a 5 star rating is no exaggeration . Driving home, I thought that if Charles Dickens or Mark Twain were to create a homey little East Asian place out of time, it might well resemble the Joong Koog-Jip experienced last evening ...... Looking forward to my next visit !“

“I saw an ad for Tada Noodles near my apartment and was intrigued, so I tried it for dinner. The timing of the ad was perfect - I saw it on the first day of the virus lockdown when takeout/delivery became the only option. Great timing with the ad! There’s only one item on the menu - jjajangmyeon - and it’s delicious. Incredibly quick and friendly service too. Highly recommend!!!“

“The atmosphere was great, perfect for hanging out with a few friends for some drinks in the evening. We ordered army stew and egg casserole, both of which were delicious. My favorite was their chicken feet; they were spicy but incredibly tasty.“
